[Win or fail, everyone needed a reason and a way to relax. With the fall of the towers, there was all sorts of good things to come from it. Some would say it was the birds; and others would say it was the hot springs.

The large, large pools of heated water. Sure, they could be used as a way to get all steamed up (or even steam punk) but after all that hard work, everyone deserves a break!

Bring your swimsuits, your towels, your drinks and snacks-who knows, you should be able to find them in the bazaars, or even on Airy. It's time to soak in the heat!]

[There is a robot girl floating on the bottom of the springs. She is actually not moving, but she doesn't seem to be damaged. Is she? It's not like she's breathing, so there aren't any bubbles rising to the surface.

She's just lying there.

Aigis is not good at hot springs.]

[At first that's a worrying sight. Then it's a confusing one when he does manage to notice that she doesn't seem to be entirely human. Maybe she doesn't need to breathe? But it's still...bizarre. Bizarre is a good word for this]

Um...miss? [He heads over, crouching nearby] Are...you okay?

[Aigis' sensors detect movement outside of the water. Someone... looking at her? She can't make out what the other person is saying, in the water like she is, so she stirs, sitting up on the ground. It's shallow enough here that she's able to sit on the bottom of the pool, her neck and chin just barely out of the water.] Yes? Did you need something?

[He blinks in surprise] Oh! You're okay. [That is good to know!] I was worried that you might not be alright, lying down in the water like that.

[ Aigis. Aigis that's not how you float. In fact, it is the opposite of floating. ] !!!

Miss? [ Because you see, all Allen knows is he was passing by on his decision to probably... not actually participate in the hot springs after seeing what it was like when he saw is what definitely looks like a girl who's drowning.

He's managed to not notice the fact she's rather mechanical yet.

That can come after he's half-waded, half-dove in (fully clothed) to get her. ]

[She's not breathing. Or rather, to be precise, she doesn't breathe. Still, the commotion doesn't go unnoticed, certainly not when he breaks the water with a splash. Aigis immediately goes into alert, unsure who this newcomer is or what his intentions may be. He's grabbing her and... trying to pull her out of the water? Allen will probably notice that her skin is cold and hard, like metal. She's also much, much, much heavier than a girl her size should be. When she sits up, it's shallow enough so that her neck and chin are barely out of the water.] ...yes? Ah-- is something wrong?

Blinking, he does notice that seems a bit... something seems... er. Well. It's more like she doesn't feel like... she's alive? At least where he's grasping her arm—which he immediately lets go when she looks so oddly at him and he realizes she's, well. Not drowning.

He raises a hand quickly (please don't be mad!). ] Sorry! No—I thought... [ er

He rubs at the back of his neck for a moment, half kneeling still in the water and... sort of uncomfortably soaked but that's the least of his concerns at the moment. ]

..I'm sorry, what were you doing down there?

[ Aigis, that is exactly how you hot spring. There is no judging here. Not one bit. ]

[She says something. Or rather, she tries to say something, but she's underwater. Good thing she doesn't have lungs to accidentally swallow water in.

She decides to sit up. It's shallow enough so that her neck is just barely above the surface.] Minato-san!

The water is very warm.

[ He's not sure how much she is able to take from the hot springs, as he remembers the last time he saw her in one. Granted, he wasn't actually supposed to be there at the time and she kind of left him and the other guys to be executed, but...

...well, he's glad Mitsuru isn't involved this time. ]

Aigis... [ She only got here, but she finds it already peculiar in every single sense. Recognizing the robot, she confronts her in her swimsuit.

So... Very concerned. ]

May I ask what you are doing?

[Oh. It's Saber! Aigis sits up, just able to break the surface of the water with her neck and chin while remaining seated on the shallow floor of the spring.] Hello, Saber-san!

I am relaxing.

Relaxing... [ Yes, of course! How silly of her to assume that she's doing anything other than that. The other girl is a robot.

Those don't need to breathe, do they? She guesses not, but she's a little appalled by how easy it is for her to just lay there without any thought of how others look at her. ]

[Well.

That's something Lapis wasn't expecting to see. Though from her last encounter with Aigis, she could guess that the other girl wasn't exactly human - and it's even more obvious now.

So she just crouches down by the waters edge, peering over and down at the other girl.]

... How's the water?

[Aigis sits up when she recognizes someone looking down to her, and hears speech through the water. She breaks the surface, crouching on the floor while mostly underwater.] It's very pleasant, Lapis-san! It's approximately 64 degrees Celsius. I believe most people find this temperature relaxing.

[ Souji's just walking around, enjoying the springs and looking for a nice spot he can claim as his, but he doesn't quite notice Aigis just lying down... at the bottom... motionless... ]

W-Whoa--

[ His foot gets caught against one of Aigis' legs and he nearly goes face first into the water. He manages to catch himself at the last moment and keep upright, albeit a little bit of awkward hopping to keep his balance. Okay, now what did he foot get caught in... ]

... Aigis-san?

[ Uhhhhhhh what ]

[Oh no! Someone caught on her! Aigis instantly bolts upright to make sure that whoever it is didn't fall, and--] Oh, it's Souji-san!

I'm sorry I made you trip! Are you all right?

[ Add another one to the worried pile.

Maki hadn't even noticed Aigis there until she had removed her towel, eyes opening wide in horror at the humanoid shape beneath the water.

She instantly sinks down below the water herself (as if that would hide herself?) wrapping her arms around her chest when, just as she starts to scream she realizes-- ]

E-Ehh?! A-Aigis-san?!

[Aigis is already trying to move when she sees someone moving to sit in the spring near her, assuming she'll want some personal space. She sits up, out of the water, and then realizes she knows this girl.] Maki-san! Hello!

...is everything all right? Your body temperature is elevated.

[Potemkin had been trying to make his way to the deeper end of the pool, if one existed, when he feels something metallic around his foot. When he looks down, Potemkin's first impulse is to feel bad for almost stepping on Aigis. His second impulse is to feel bad for letting Aigis fall into the see around Graupera. From that context it's not surprising that Potemkin gets set into a fit of apologizing, though as soon as he opens his mouth he starts doubting if his words even reach someone underwater.]

I'm so sorry, Ms. Aigis!

[Not without being garbled, they don't. Fortunately, she's able to easily reconstruct the words. So when she sits up, breaking the surface, she's able to immediately respond:] It's all right, Potemkin-san! Don't worry, you didn't step on me!

If you had, I wouldn't have been damaged, even with your size. I am deceptively sturdy.

[ He has ... never seen a robot girl before, so he doesn't quite know if they do well in water, but Aigis looks like a girl nonetheless, and seeing someone just lying there at the bottom of the spring is so very concerning. They might have drowned! Wrapped in only a towel, Kija was determined to leave the horrible co-ed bath, avoiding any members of the opposite sex. He has to push back his reservations for this moment, though. This girl might be in trouble. ]

Eh?! Are you all right?! [ Maybe she got cramps or something, or maybe she couldn't swim (though, the water only goes up to their waists so there's really no need to swim). Either way she's just lying there at the bottom of the pool??? How can she breathe??? Immediately, Kija jumps in after her. ] Do not worry, I am coming!

[ If not stopped, he's going to try and yank her out. ]

[It's nice. It's peaceful and calming. Aigis quite likes this. She likes being able to... there's a sudden disturbance in the water. Startled, Aigis sits up so that her face is above the springs. Her eyes go wide.

She doesn't recognize this man.] I'm sorry! Is everything all right? Please, I'm here to help you!

[ Here's the thing. Sakura remembers this girl (vaguely, which seems to be the case with a few people) and she remembers there being something not quite normal about her. The mechanical articulations are a good clue, but she still gets worried, because either a) she isn't actually a robot, and she does need to breathe; or b) she is and doesn't need to breathe, but water and electronics don't mix well. So she doesn't panic, but she does also reaches down into the water to pull Aigis up, unless the girl resists. ]

[Aigis is a little surprised by the hand suddenly reaching down and grabbing her, pulling her to the surface. Sakura will find that she's considerably heavier than she looks, and her arm is in fact solid metal.

She breaks the surface and blinks.] ...yes? Can I help you?
