What: There's a hot springs, so now there's a hot springs episode.
Rating: Could be a p-13 and beyond because some people are only wearing towels in this place.





[Win or fail, everyone needed a reason and a way to relax. With the fall of the towers, there was all sorts of good things to come from it. Some would say it was the birds; and others would say it was the hot springs.

The large, large pools of heated water. Sure, they could be used as a way to get all steamed up (or even steam punk) but after all that hard work, everyone deserves a break!

Bring your swimsuits, your towels, your drinks and snacks-who knows, you should be able to find them in the bazaars, or even on Airy. It's time to soak in the heat!]

[ Ah, well... that was a surprisingly bland response considering the worst cases Sakura had been contemplating. ]

No, I'm sorry... You weren't breathing.

[ She looks sort of sheepish that she overreacted... in her defense, she has treated all manner of people and even summons in her years as a medic, but she has yet to encounter anything quite like Aigis. ]

Oh, yes! That's correct. I do not breathe, so you don't need to worry about that. [She says, quite cheerfully.]

[ Blowing out a sigh that's equal parts relieved and exasperated (at herself, not Aigis), Sakura can't help but laugh at the absurdity of the thing. ]

You'll scare people doing that. I thought you were drowning.

--ah! I'm sorry, did I frighten you? [The cheerfulness immediately goes out of her expression, replaced by worry and a little bit of regret.] I'm sorry! That wasn't my intention at all.

Not exactly... I was frightened for you.

[ Is there actually a distinction or is she being a tsundere? The world may never known. ]

Well... a-as it turns out, you needn't be worried about that sort of thing! As you can see, I'm completely fine. I apologize if I caused you any distress.

It's okay. I guess I kind of overreacted.

[ Except... now she's curious. ]

The water itself doesn't cause any problems for you?

[seventhgen]

No, it doesn't. [She shakes her head.] Any parts that would be damaged by exposure to water are located in firmly protected components. I am capable of functioning under the ocean, if need be.

[A pause.] And have.

[ That's actually... sort of impressive. Sakura isn't an engineer per se, but she is a scientist, and she knows enough about water pressure and the challenges of keeping moisture out of things to appreciate the skill that must have gone into that. ]

I don't think I've ever met anyone like you before. [ In the literal sense, of course... but also in the way Aigis talks about herself. ]

[Aigis smiles in a way she hopes is how a human would smile disarmingly.] That's all right. I don't think most people have. I am... fairly unique in the world. So it isn't your fault.
