showsnopiety: (And it feels)

[Open] It's getting hot in here

Who: Caren and anyone visiting the hot springs!
When: Post dungeon, could be right after fail/success, could be days after
Where: Hot Springs of course
What: There's a hot springs, so now there's a hot springs episode.
Rating: Could be a p-13 and beyond because some people are only wearing towels in this place.

[Win or fail, everyone needed a reason and a way to relax. With the fall of the towers, there was all sorts of good things to come from it. Some would say it was the birds; and others would say it was the hot springs.

The large, large pools of heated water. Sure, they could be used as a way to get all steamed up (or even steam punk) but after all that hard work, everyone deserves a break!

Bring your swimsuits, your towels, your drinks and snacks-who knows, you should be able to find them in the bazaars, or even on Airy. It's time to soak in the heat!]

[Aigis sits up when she recognizes someone looking down to her, and hears speech through the water. She breaks the surface, crouching on the floor while mostly underwater.] It's very pleasant, Lapis-san! It's approximately 64 degrees Celsius. I believe most people find this temperature relaxing.

[Lapis stays crouched by the edge as Aigis rises from the water, tilting her head at her words before nodding. Shifting so that she can dip her feet in the water, resting her head in her hands as she peeks over at the other girl.]

... It does feel nice. [She swings her feet gently in the water, glancing down at the ripples she makes before her eyes flick back to Aigis.]

Though I don't think I've seen someone relax like you were. [Though floating around in the water does sound tempting... Maybe Aigis has the right idea.]

Hmm... [Aigis seems thoughtful for a moment before nodding.] That is understandable. Most people need to breathe, so they could not do what I was doing for long. But I enjoy the sensation of being immersed.

Hmm... [Lapis considers this for a moment, gold eyes focusing on the water.

Then she decides to hop in, shifting into the water so that she's partially floating on her back now - it's not exactly the same as what Aigis was doing, but it's close enough.]

You're right, this does feel nice.

It does, doesn't it! [She says, cheerfully, watching Lapis float.] But if you're not completely in the water, the air must rapidly cool your exposed skin...

Doesn't that get cold and uncomfortable? [She's genuinely asking. She has no idea.]

Hmm... [She thinks about that for a moment, before shifting herself in the water once more - so that her head is just above the surface as she moves herself upright.]

I don't really notice, but if it does get uncomfortable, I can just do this. [Living around ghosts for over a decade means she's used to random cold spots.]

That's true! Ah, humans are very good at this sort of thing... it's instinctive how you handle yourselves.

What does it feel like? The heat, that is.

Hmm... [She sinks a bit more into the water, gold eyes watching as the water ripples around her before she answers.]

Like being wrapped in a really warm, cozy blanket. It's nice and relaxing and makes me feel kind of sleepy.

That sounds very nice, I think. I don't know what a blanket would feel like, though.

[At least, not how a human might.] It's dangerous to fall asleep in water of this temperature, though! It can severely dehydrate you.
