Who: Anyone who wants to celebrate Mid Autumn Festival!
When: Roughly 11th September to 17th September.
Where: Gisela
What: A log for those who wish to use their tickets during Mid Autumn Festival! You can still use this log for visits outside of this week too (as a catch-all) but the script is for the festivities. Basically what you can do is hang out at the Inn, at Gisela, or check out the island's hot springs!
Rating: Probably PG only for if a lantern catches fire or something.


[Welcome to Gisela, the floating sky islands above Gresser! Known for its mystic scenery, hot springs, and the fact that you nearly died the one time you had a dungeon here, Gisela could be considered a popular vacation spot. Or at least it should be, because Vietnam invested good money into this inn.

Inn, you say? Yes, after the defeating the dungeon, Vietnam bought a business here, an inn near the hot springs, Dragon's Flight and Phoenix Dance. A normally quaint inn, it has transformed to offer more festivities. Staff will welcome you with elaborate fruit displays they will put in your room for you to admire (and eat). You may also like to sign up for mooncake making sessions, where you will be able to make mooncakes together with your friends and family! Share a moment with them, and then share the mooncake. Nice.

Lanterns are strung up, leading you out towards the gardens. The inn itself doesn't have a lot of space for A GREAT FESTIVAL, but on certain nights, there will be lion dancing and a few stalls opened up to sell souvenirs, all handcrafted thanks to Vietnam's instruction. Now, lion dancing usually consist of two or more people under a lion costume, however, some generous NPCs have lent them some tame magical lion beasts that look similar to the Asian mythological kind. However, Vietnam and Kija also found a pretty wild one that seems to be stuck eating some lion snacks, because they tried to wrangle it and before they could run, they were forced to commit. Kija named it Jae-ha.

Go further, and it seems like the hot springs that Vietnam has permission to use have also a bit of decoration themselves, with something heat and water proof, that is.

Should you just want to spend your time looking at the moon, darker, quieter areas of the gardens will let you do just that. Sit down and relax, of course.

If you don't really care about any of this at all, perhaps you'd just want to go sightseeing in Gisela!

And basically do whatever you want in this place, really. RELAX, HERO.]

[In the meanwhile, Gilbert walks around the room looking for...well, he's not even sure what he's looking for. The thing is, he just needs a moment to cool down. This is something he could use as an example of going overboard in the future, really.]

No...yes. It's complicated.

[Of course, he asked for some of these things (namely the bed and the alcohol), but the credit should go to Viet.]

I thought it would be nice to sleep in a larger bed for once, that's all.

[It isn't, but he wants it to sound like it is.]

[Going up behind him, he wraps his arms around him and nuzzles his cheek.]

Then I have quite the surprise for you later.

[Nope. He's not going to tell him yet.]

So a large bed. With roses all over it. Are you sure you weren't hoping for a daaaaate?

[Usually, he'd flinch if someone did that, but when it's Jiroutachi, Gilbert just tenses up for a short while.]

Surprise? What could it...you're not going to tell me.

[No matter how many times he'd ask, most likely.]

I just wanted both of us to enjoy ourselves!

[Yeah, totally a date.]

Would you like something to eat? [He's not even asking about drinks because he knows the answer to that already.] I'd like to take a bath later...

[But firstly he needs to make sure that Jirou doesn't need anything.]

I'll tell you after dinner.

[He kisses his cheek then goes to have another look around. They seriously have everything here!]

What if I tell you while we're in the bath together?

[OH AND...]

Yes please for food!

[Somebody fan him, he needs that.]

I'll go get us something...!

[Gilbert needs to retreat for now so badly. That, and he needs a cigarette to calm his poor nerves down.

BUT. There's absolutely no need for him to go anywhere, as one of the staff members announces that he has brought them a meal. Gilbert watches the man walking in with a tray and leaving it on the table, feeling weird about it. Actually, it's a miracle that he didn't just snatch it from his hands to take care of it by himself.]

[The man leaves them alone soon, but before going out he manages to show Gilbert a thumb up. WHY THEY ARE LIKE THIS...]

[He bursts into giggles as food is brought in and the thumbs up is given. This is proving to be the greatest thing ever and he goes to sit down so that way Gil can serve him food. He's learned very quickly that Gil is happiest when he's serving him rather than Jirou getting things for himself.

It really helps that Jirou is used to being given offerings and taken care of. It helps a lot.]

Well it looks like we get our meal now after all!

[Lalala~ Just going to wait here.

And yes. A bath together by the way. Just wait because he'll make it happen.]

[Without wasting time, Gilbert puts the lid on the tray away to reveal what's hidden beneath. They really went overboard—two bowls of Pho soup, spring rolls filled with shrimp, coriander and vegetables, rice and chicken sauteed with ginger and fish sauce, lotus stem salad and, of course, mooncakes.]

I'm...impressed.

[That's a lot of food, really. Which makes him wonder if they really can eat everything. They're going to eat soon enough.]

They really thought of everything, didn't they...

[Gil takes one pair of chopsticks and smiles shyly at Jirou.]

Probably because someone was adorable when he made the request for our date.

[He wasn't even there when you made the call and he knows, Gil.

Watching him, he notes how Gil is getting better with chopsticks and beams at him. And even gives him a quick kiss.]

Looks delicious. Let's eat.

[Two people freaking out and shouting at each other can be cute in its own way.

As for the chopsticks, Jiroutachi doesn't have to know how many hours he practiced (and how much food ended up on the floor because of that). But now, he's doing surprisingly well with the noodles.]

Also, I thought that we could go out in the evening and watch the moon together. What do you think?

I'll bring the sake. It'll be nice to have drinks under the moonlight.

[Oh dear. His boyfriend is the cutest little romantic. What shall he do with him? He just settles for smiling at him for now and eating a bite of food after a sip of his drink.

...Actually perhaps he will do something sooner than he planned.]

Gi-chan, do you remember how I said I'd wait before sharing my surprise?

[Simply imagining it is enough to bring a smile to Gilbert's face when he's done chewing. Fortunately, he's not trying to pick another piece of food up with the chopsticks when Jirou asks him about the surprise (because something would most likely end up on the floor).

How could he forget, really.]

Of course. Did something change?

[Gil raises his brows, eyes fixed on the other man.]

[sakeplz]

[Mostly just whim. But he doesn't explain that as he continues.]

I have a house in Caissa. I'd like you to live with me there and share a room together.

[He laughs softly as he adds:]

We were wanting a bigger bed after all.

[Oh. What did he say again...]

[No, he must be kidding.]

[But what if he's not kidding...]

ah, yes, i'm done

[His face turns the brightest hue of red possible in a matter of seconds, really.]

Bigger bed not bigger...well, building!

[Why is he yelling and flailing so much? Gil has no idea, even though he's the one who should know such things. Being angry is the exact opposite of what he's feeling now, after all.]

[Jirou smiles as he watches him.]

Even though a building will have a kitchen, a garden, and a room we can share without having to worry about bothering a roommate sleeping in the same room?

[You're cute, Gil.]

[Now he really feels like an idiot about shouting at him earlier. But before Gilbert speaks again, he needs to clear his throat:]

This sure is a better alternative.

[He's mumbling, but at the same time he's smiling softly to himself.]

I can't believe you did something like that. I...

[Pretty sure that Jiroutachi knows what his answer will be already, Gilbert pauses on purpose and looks away.]

I can't wait to see our new room.

It has three bedrooms and an extra room we can use for something fun. It also has a garden and a cellar for wine.

[He didn't pick it for that reason. What are you talking about.]

I made sure the bed is nice and big too since we're both rather long. But most of the decorating isn't done so that way you can help me with it.

[Oh!]

And the kitchen is nicely big too.

[Even though Gilbert's fully aware that getting up from the chair and walking away from the table during a meal is considered rude, he does that anyway once Jiroutachi is done speaking. All this to embrace him from behind and press his forehead over the top of the other's man head.]

You really thought of everything.

[Even a cellar for wine...]

[He doesn't seem to be bothered at all by Gil getting up. Nope. He just smiles and leans back against him, tilting his head back to smile up at him. It ends up with their foreheads touching but that sounds good to him!]

Well I'm not as dumb as I make myself out to be, remember?

[He laughs a bit then encourages him to move his head so he can give him a peck on the lips.]

So I take it that's a yes for you living with me.

Of course I remember, you idiot. [Said as lovingly as he only could.] I'm trying to imagine how hard you had to work...

[His encouragement is successful; Gilbert shifts a bit to make things easier for him.]

Yes...you had me at the bigger bed and the kitchen, I suppose.

[Apparently, Gilbert doesn't really want to go back to his seat...but there's still lots of food left.]

[Jirou can see how Gil doesn't want to go back to his seat. So he does the perfectly obvious solution of tugging him around.

And onto his lap.

See? They can eat and cuddle at the same time.]

It's a very large bed too. We are both very long people after all.

[He doesn't let Jirou tug him so easily at first, but finally Gil just gives up and settles down comfortably on his lap, blushing brightly.]

That's good, I won't have to worry that you fall down or anything when we'll be...sleeping. Now eat up.

[With that said, he takes one spring roll with the chopsticks and turns a bit to feed Jiroutachi.]

[He opens his mouth and takes a bite of the roll so that way Gil can have the other part of it. This is a very good way of sharing food.

And lets him be lazy. Bonus.]
