[If you're near the Caissa Center Plaza, you might come upon a pair of heroes who are getting a little bit too into the festivities. Ed and Susan are practicing with water magic by trying to pelt each other with bolts of water while the other tries pelting them right back.]

[Unfortunately, several bystanders may be caught in the crossfire of spells gone awry or simply bad shots or good dodging. Between that and the fountains going off at random--well, everyone's going to be getting a bit wetter before the day's out.]

Let this bolt of water reach the blasphemer and smite her mightily! Water bolt! [He flings this one, which will take a sharp turn at the corner and. Possibly be useful.]

[Judging by the yelp, he nailed her.]

It's not that much more complex than making it sit and wait for me to fire it!

[There's a crashing sound.

It sounds like she fell. COULD THIS BE.. A CHANCE?]

[TIME FOR AN ALL OUT ATTACK.]

[He rushes around the corner, already calling up another small water bolt.]

[Ed doesn't find Susan.

He does, however, find a water bolt, hovering right at his face level as he rounds the corner.]

[He tries to jerk back to avoid it, and winds up faceplanting into it dead on. Oops.]

Wa--blegch! Phhpbt!

What? It's applied magic!

[She's calling from her new cover.]

So it was a magical trap..? That's pretty smart! [He takes cover himself, peeking out at where she's yelling from.]

A shame I can't do more than one, though.

[She wishes she could just leave him a minefield.. but that isn't on the table, right now.

She falls silent after that though, to try and keep him from figuring out where she's gone.]

Yeah... more than one spell at a time is really draining, compared to back home. It's more complex than writing my own Bursts was, too.

Still... [He makes another tiny orb and waits to see where she's coming from to fire it.]

Even under these new rules, I can't lose to you!

[She pops out of cover again to fire her own at him.]

I'm not gonna lose to mister 'just put in more ether and keep putting in ether' either, y'know!

[He fires his back, and the two bolts collide in midair. It's more a happy accident than any purposeful awesomeness, though.]

And I won't lose to a brazen woman who'd use her own skin as a weapon! Whether it's with a swimsuit or coating herself with poison, the type of weaponry doesn't matter!

That's a pretty bold statement considering how you slow down everytime you even think of it, Ed.

In fact, Maybe I'll just step out into the open to prove it.

[She's making another bolt, and getting ready.]

[He prepares one of his own.]

And if his face shows the slightest sign of confusion, he's gonna get that bolt pelted in his face.]

[... And she's gonna try and pelt him until her mana bottoms out, now.]

[He puts his arms in front of his face and weathers it. He remembers his fight alongside Kaito earlier. If he just holds out until she pelts him with enough mana..!]

[She's almost out... but she holds the last bolt, now.]

Well, I WAS soaking you pretty hard, there.

[She is, though.]

You were. But I'll soak you better. [And now he counterattacks, firing a bolt back at her.]
