[If you're near the Caissa Center Plaza, you might come upon a pair of heroes who are getting a little bit too into the festivities. Ed and Susan are practicing with water magic by trying to pelt each other with bolts of water while the other tries pelting them right back.]

[Unfortunately, several bystanders may be caught in the crossfire of spells gone awry or simply bad shots or good dodging. Between that and the fountains going off at random--well, everyone's going to be getting a bit wetter before the day's out.]

But... Huh, I could have sworn you'd have held hands with other people sometime.

[She's extremely exasperated already.]

I don't think--I've seen it plenty! Lots of people go around holding hands and having fun in groups of friends and stuff! It's perfectly normal in Endemiyon! Especially on weekends or after class lets out. Or when there's a big event going on. [Nodnod.]

It makes sense, too, that way nobody gets separated in the huge crowds there are sometimes.

I seem to hold hands with a lot of people sometimes, but yours is defintely a good hand to hold.

At least you have some taste. [She's so annoyed, she gets so annoyed by him, it bothers her SO MUCH.]

I have plenty of taste! All five of the basic taste groups, even.

[And she swears to god, that better not be the first things you buy when you make some money.]

It was a cloak! [That billowed in the wind on its own, even indoors or when there was no wind.]

And what's wrong with that?! It was a comfy shirt!

[Her dreams of the cool, cunning mage from earth were shattered in part by that outfit.]

I did not. [He makes a face at her, harrumphing.] Just because it's not what you're used to doesn't make it clownish. Plenty of people dress like that back where I'm from.
