why
Who: A mysterious masked hero, and you!
When: Throughout the month, honestly!
Where: Polgar and Blanc
What: The mysterious masked hero takes on Who's Naughty? Who's Nice? and also messes around in the festivities.
Rating: Extremely Silly
Destroy Bad Heroism
[ Anyone looking into the black market sale of stolen gifts may very well find their investigation interrupted by the sound of laughter from above. ]
HAHAHA!
[ If they should look up, who could it possibly be but theSavior of Orleans Weird Bird Cutting Man Tsubame Gaeshi Person? But of course, it's not that SAMURAI, for when prompted for a name by the Zeroes at hand, he so answers: ]
My name is Island Mask, and even if God and Buddha may forgive you, you won't find me so accommodating!
[ What's a "Buddha?" The question lingers in the air among those who have never encountered that particular religion, but there's little time to consider it as Island Mask leaps from the rooftop and lands on top of a table filled with stolen gifts, sending them scattering in every direction! ]
But let it never be said that I'm not a fair man! I'll give you all up to the count of three to prepare yourselves!
[ What even? ]
REGEND OF THE SAMURAI
Mmm, I could definitely get used to this land. Nature in every direction, surrounded by beautiful women, and a penchant for battle.
[ "Before we fight, let us make merry in the name of Gladia!" So the queen had declared, but really, for certain parts of the population, is there a difference? Not forSasaki Kojirou Island Mask, who has decided that he couldn't possibly wait until the games begin proper and has joined every single minor tournament and brawl he could find.
And so he stands atop a crowd of crumpled bodies, sword over his shoulder, obviously rather pleased with himself despite the mask covering most of his features. ]

[ Kojirou has, thankfully, never seen the inside of one, but this guy certainly will. For now though, he lifts his sword and points it at the Zeroes. ]
Understood. That much is simple enough.
[ They're running, but Kojirou practically leaps off his table at the nearest one, wooden sword cracking across the Zero's shoulders rather loudly, sending the poor guy into the ground. ]
no subject
[But now it was on his mental to do list. Something to while away the hours when he wasn't training.]
I figured you would get it.
[Though ouch at that wooden sword strike. Sure it wasn't metal, but no way it didn't hurt. But well there should be no mercy for people such as these. He does a wind spell, causing the air to blow enough debris at the feet of the bandits that they're tripping and falling down..]
no subject
[ Said masked man practically dances around the flying debris, keeping his footing with acutely keen senses so he can get in close to the Zeroes and knock them down one by one.
Look, just tripping over their feet isn't enough to properly subdue a potentially dangerous criminal, right? ]
Now may be as good a time as any to dp those investigations. Do you have any rope?
no subject
But at Island Mask's prompting, William reached into his bag and pulled out a good length of rope.]
Of course I do. One should never leave home without it.
[And he's even beginning to measure it out, the perfect length for tying someone up, like he's some kind of expert in this sort of thing.]
no subject
I would have expected bringing one along for this mission specifically, but never leaving home without it?
[ Island Mask looks at William through his mask for a long moment. ]
Well, we all have our interests. I'm sure you can do the honours of tying them up then?
no subject
There are a lot of frustrating people out there, okay? And don't make me sound like some weirdo.
[It's not his fault that his butler taught him such a useless skill, okay? Well useful in this case, as he's already tying them up, with pretty good knots.]
So do you want to haul them back there, or should we call the police?
no subject
[ Nothing wrong with having twenty feet of rope at all times, rope is useful! If you're an outdoors person at least. Adventuring often requires rope.
This guy though, looks like anything but an outdoors person. Some kind of nerd honestly. So rope just for tying people up?
It truly takes all kinds. ]
The police will want to gather evidence, so they have to come here anyway. We might as well save ourselves the effort.
[ Not least because Island Mask dragging people anywhere in his mask will look really suspicious. ]
no subject
That sounds like a plan. I don't exactly have the arms for such work.
[Yep, definitely a nerd.]
So what is your real name? Or are you one of those people who guards such things.
[He knew from experience that demons were pretty protective of their birth names, but his guy didn't seem to be a demon. Just a weirdo.]
no subject
A hero can hardly do his work if he can't even lift a man on his shoulders, but we all have different talents.
[ Bruh do you even lift? ]
As for me, my name isn't important. Island Mask is as much my true name as any other I use.
[ Call him whatever you want, really. ]
no subject
[One day he will learn a fireman's hold or something and maybe even lift. When pigs fly.]
...I see. Well I guess I shouldn't question a cosplayer.
[For someone reason, this feels like something Dantalion would do.]
no subject
[ Beat. ]
Although it's difficult to accept being called a cosplayer when I am in fact a masked hero.
[ He's an official Hero of Blanc, he has a mask. There's no playing here!
No, he's totally wearing this mask because it amuses him, so in that sense he's very much playing. ]
no subject
[Whatever though good sir. It is not for him to judge.]
But still, you are at least doing your part. that was very admirably done.
no subject
But he doesn't care that much, or he wouldn't have worn this mask in the first place. ]
Against thugs like this? This much is the bare minimum, I imagine.
[ Bring him something actually tough. Like a dragon. Like five dragons. ]
no subject
[He's had some exposure to various media in Blanc. He knows the stereotype. Weapons blazing and all that.]
But thank you for the help. What little information I had gathered made it sound like there were fewer than this.
[One of the bandits stirred for a moment and William nudged him with his foot. the man quieted right away.]
no subject
[ He's just here to beat things up and train himself further, really. ]
You're more than welcome, but it sounds like more training is necessary if a few common thieves give you pause.
[ Go hang out in a mountain or something. ]
no subject
[Yep definitely the cliche in the flesh. It's actually kind of admirable.]
...I do not think I need a mountain, just better planning.
[He's already feeling a little sore over this misstep. Very sore.]</small.
no subject
[ Go jogging William. ]
no subject
[Maybe he'll manage one minute of it.]
