I: Carbuncle Hunting
[It's been hours tramping through the forest and there is no carbuncle in sight. William's getting fed up with the way their noble purpose is being thwarted. Doesn't the creature value the possibility of contributing to science? But there is no point in being too cross and the day is a pleasant one, so after a moment he proposes that the two of you sit down. And enjoy the picnic basket of food he brought just for this occasion. Because you can’t work on an empty stomach. And maybe the carbuncle would like some food too. Treating it to a good meal would be a fair exchange for it's gem.]
I swore the local people said there were some of those creatures in here. Hopefully they're just shy.
II: Haunted Hospital Time [closed to Yew]
[William had come to accept the very real existence of the supernatural over a year ago. It was hard not to when you kept running into demons and angels who wanted to either A, kill you or B, wine and dine you. Of course, there were certain things he still had doubts about. Like ghosts. Though at least it was only a doubt and not a ridiculously powerful desperation to ignore the horror of reality.
But now that William was wavering, he wished to confirm the truth about spectors and this job provided the perfect opportunity. So here he was with a notebook in hand and a very unfortunate companion.]
Come on, Yew. Let’s get going. I didn’t stay up this late for you to get cold feet.
<[Is he being a bit merciless? Yes. Yes he is. Sorry bro. But it's time to push on through those hospital doors.]
II: Haunted Hospital [Open to everyone]
[Despite everything that happened the first time he went through the hospital, William’s elected to go again. After all, there are people who could surely benefit from his guidance. And he does want to read those pages he missed. The part of him that loves a good mystery is curious.
So have a fearless William with you, one who is now immune to the jump scares, because it just stops being terrifying after the tenth time. You’ll definitely be okay. For sure.]
III: Wildcard/Chilling around Blanc
[Want to hunt for something other than carbuncles? Or want to modify one of the above prompts? Go for it! We can also do non-job prompts like studying, training and even just shopping or having tea! Don’t be afraid to throw up a prompt or pm me so I can write a top level!]

Blast these are tight. [The patient made a keening moan and William flinched.] We're trying to help you, so just bear with a little longer.
[And then, getting frustrated, William pulled out a small hunting knife he had with him and used some magic to heat it up. It started slicing through the restraints much fast.]
Almost got it.
no subject
[While he spoke, he hurriedly unfastened the restraint. William got through them more quickly and the man was finally freed.]
We did it! Where's the doc, Artie?
[He pulled off his wig and stuffed it into his hat. The outfit was the next to go and he wiped his arm over his face to take the makeup off.]
no subject
[But the patient was free and it was time to go. Only now Artemisia was gesturing wildly and there was the doc, right behind her. Looking very displeased.]
Oh drat. I think we should all leave. Post haste.
[He's getting done. So very done.]

[The doctor locked eyes with Wander. For making a fool of him, he decided the alien would be the next test subject. He had been curious of his anatomy, and might provide promising results for his experiments...
The doctor advanced and Wander stepped back. As soon as the doorway was clear, the freed man raced out and vanished. On the ground, he left a piece of paper, a torn page from his journal.]

[It was time to flee though, regardless. As long as Wynona was out there, they could just grab her.
William frowned as their rescuee fled though. Not that he could blame him, but what had ever happened to having some backbone?
Seeing Wander being approached upon, William quickly summoned up a wind spell, blowing a gust in his face, all the while dashing for the picture.]
Let's get this and leave!
no subject
I'm right behind you!
[While William grabbed the picture, Wander looked and called out for his carrier.]
Wy! Where are you, girl?
[Desperate cries came from a few rooms down. Wander raced ahead and found her hiding in a cupboard. This time, he carried her instead. They could hear the doctor shouting as he chased them.]
no subject
You have her?
[William said as he saw Wander carrying her. He looked behind to see the doctor chasing after them. Way too fast, though he wasn't teleporting after them like he probably could. Hopefully too angry to remember his abilities. William quickly threw another gust of wind after him, staggering the doctor. This whole time, Artemisia was clinging to her master's shirt collar, having dispensed with being their floating lantern for the moment.]
Then let's escape here, posthaste!
no subject
There's the door!
[They were so close, but the doctor was closer. He grabbed Wander and Wynona tumbled across the floor. Hoisted into the air, Wander desperately tried to pull himself away, yet his saviour came in the form of rusty medical equipment. A heavy cot barrelled down the hall and crashed into the doctor's back, freeing Wander. Wynona caught him on her saddle and the two raced for the door.]
no subject
When they reached the door, William made sure to jerk it open quickly.]
Come on then! He shouldn't follow us out here!
[Hopefully not at least. Isaac was the one who knew about and believed in ghosts and all that.]
no subject
Is he gone?
[He did not see him...]
no subject
[William said as he backed away from the door slowly, carefully reaching back and detaching Artemisia from his collar.]
Well that was an interesting experience at least. Nothing I want to relieve though.
