Rating: Her enthusiasm for guns (and possibly warfare in general) will definitely come up. Aside that, I'll warn in appropriate comment headers if threads go in any other uncomfortable directions!


a)

[Nobunaga's always been a big fan of guns. During her time, rifles had only begun to make their way onto the battlefield, but she'd been completely enamored by them from the moment she held one and saw it in action. The weight of it in her hands, the feel of the weapon and the sensation she got when she fired one. Her use of rifles had even carried over into her existence as a heroic spirit, having had three thousand of them at once. A legion of portable, flying guns she could call on at will to gun down her opponents...

Naturally, being here meant being without them. For a while it really bummed her out.

But today is the day she's reunited with her one true love: the gun. She shows up for the job and is handed an assault rifle, and for a moment she's stood in awe of the fact she's even got it. She twists the gun in her hands every so often, inspecting it up close, just...running her hands over it slowly sometimes.........]

Incredible...it's not quite a gatling gun, but it's a step up from my own arsenal to be sure...

[You should only sound so fond of something when you're talking about another human being.]

b)

[When it comes to setting up some targets for practice, it's no exaggeration to say she's a natural. Her first few attempts are for practice; she has to get used to the weapon and adjust to how different such a fast, powerful weapon is, compared to her own that simply fired once. But the rate at which she adjusts is astounding really; she's likely one of the first to become accustomed to it (barring, of course, people with experience firing them already) and in no time at all she's confident in her ability. She's ready to shoot some zombies.]

Hah, what a beautiful weapon...warfare really has come a long way.

[The list of things she shouldn't sound particularly fond saying increases.

That being said, she may be a good person to ask if you're looking for pointers.]

c)

[With the actual hunt underway, Nobunaga seems to be in high spirits. She's got a dedicated ammo pouch hanging hanging at her waist and her rifle firmly held in her hands the whole time.]

Well? Excited?

[Yeah, that's to you. What's not to love, right?]

[ He doesn't quite follow, except that he imagines that it might be a little like a crossbow. Though from what he had learned from Kiril, loading a crossbow wasn't very hard if you know how to do it right.

He is a little surprised at being told to call her "My lord" instead but he has been raised as a man despite being born a woman (which was a secret he was terrified that people might find out even though there seemed to be a fair amount of nice people in this place) so it was not hard for him to accept that request. ]

As you wish, My lord. [ He wonders how come that is, but they have only just met so asking could be considered rude. ] Technology is an amazing thing, we have nothing like rifles at all where I'm from, you must come from quite the interesting place, to have them.

Hm...as far as warfare goes, my era was fairly outdated by modern standards. Even this-[She lifts the rifle a little higher, to draw attention to it.]-isn't all that impressive by comparison to humanity's achievements in weaponry.

However, if you're unusued to this level of technology, I suppose it must seem incredible...do you still use swords and bows, or something?

I would imagine that any time with any form of weaponry such as this would have a completely different way of battle and warfare.

[ Nearly his whole life his country has been at war with itself, and it only recently (in his mind) ended. Although in the people's eyes, it was over six hundred years ago. ]

We do, yes. A friend of mine is a well-known archer while most of my other closest friend prefer the sword. I'm proficient in various weapons myself but do prefer the whip or the axe, alongside the sword.

Is that so? Truth be told, weaponry of that sort never went out of fashion during my life either. I was well trained with a variety of weapons too, much like yourself; I'm particularly fond of swords. But as a child I leaned more towards bows and halberds.

[So much so that she used to just, yknow, wander the streets and attack people with the halberd. People going about their day and suddenly the weird oda kid's on the attack.]

I suppose being here makes that training still relevant, hm? Everything still seems geared towards these more old fashioned methods...not that I'm complaining, really.

Indeed? It seems that might be somewhat of a rarity, that one is proficient with more than one or two weapons.

[ So the type of person he might have ended up executing, then. Not that he ever cared to find out what crimes the people he killed had committed, or if they were innocent of all crime. ]

It does help, seeing as we cannot predict what weapons we might be asked to wield, from the armory. And being able to wield more than one kind of weapon can only be seen as an advantage.

[ He received a knife, after all, which was more ironic than anything, in his mind, but for a private reason. The whip that he carried had been made by him soon after arriving and he had bought the rapier that he owned only recently. ]

Well then it's time for you to expand your horizons lad, straight into the realm of firearms. This Demon King will make a marksman out of you yet.

[She says so rather firmly, as if it were already decided upon.]

[ He should not be pleased with being called lad but he is. not that it shows. Instead, he inclines his head in gratitude and curiosity. ]

Thank you, my lord. [ He has no problem being taught by her. ] You are called Demon Lord where you are from?

Oh, well, you know...[A beat.]...it's the Demon King of the Sixth Heaven and Unifier of Japan, Nobunaga Oda, if you're looking for my full, illustrious name.

[And she'll never miss an opportunity to say it.]
