Who: Anyone who wants to celebrate Mid Autumn Festival!
When: Roughly 11th September to 17th September.
Where: Gisela
What: A log for those who wish to use their tickets during Mid Autumn Festival! You can still use this log for visits outside of this week too (as a catch-all) but the script is for the festivities. Basically what you can do is hang out at the Inn, at Gisela, or check out the island's hot springs!
Rating: Probably PG only for if a lantern catches fire or something.


[Welcome to Gisela, the floating sky islands above Gresser! Known for its mystic scenery, hot springs, and the fact that you nearly died the one time you had a dungeon here, Gisela could be considered a popular vacation spot. Or at least it should be, because Vietnam invested good money into this inn.

Inn, you say? Yes, after the defeating the dungeon, Vietnam bought a business here, an inn near the hot springs, Dragon's Flight and Phoenix Dance. A normally quaint inn, it has transformed to offer more festivities. Staff will welcome you with elaborate fruit displays they will put in your room for you to admire (and eat). You may also like to sign up for mooncake making sessions, where you will be able to make mooncakes together with your friends and family! Share a moment with them, and then share the mooncake. Nice.

Lanterns are strung up, leading you out towards the gardens. The inn itself doesn't have a lot of space for A GREAT FESTIVAL, but on certain nights, there will be lion dancing and a few stalls opened up to sell souvenirs, all handcrafted thanks to Vietnam's instruction. Now, lion dancing usually consist of two or more people under a lion costume, however, some generous NPCs have lent them some tame magical lion beasts that look similar to the Asian mythological kind. However, Vietnam and Kija also found a pretty wild one that seems to be stuck eating some lion snacks, because they tried to wrangle it and before they could run, they were forced to commit. Kija named it Jae-ha.

Go further, and it seems like the hot springs that Vietnam has permission to use have also a bit of decoration themselves, with something heat and water proof, that is.

Should you just want to spend your time looking at the moon, darker, quieter areas of the gardens will let you do just that. Sit down and relax, of course.

If you don't really care about any of this at all, perhaps you'd just want to go sightseeing in Gisela!

And basically do whatever you want in this place, really. RELAX, HERO.]

[ Masamune blinks now, this time seeming a little timid. Mostly because, well... ]

You put your life on the line to save mine and you aren't one of my men. I've only ever had one other person who isn't loyal to my family do anything like it back home.

As for the baking... I do it back home. Sometimes. When I'm bored and I end up giving it to the workers in the fields. It's not anything special.

[ Back home, the only friends he has are Kojuro and Yukimura. So, really... ]

I don't think you have to worry about having a hard time outdoing me in the friendship department. But, I mean, if we're friends, it doesn't matter if we just met, anyway, right?

[ He's being a little tsundere about the situation as well as the situations that he is referring to so its convoluted but... he doesn't want the other to think he has to work hard to be friends.

He might end up thinking it's not worth the effort to keep up. ]

[flirtations]

[ Truthfully, Jae-ha had offered those words with more than a little lightness, the comment about attempting to outdo him more of a joke than anything, but his expression sobers significantly when Masamune responds. ]

To tell you the truth, I wasn't always like that. [ Wasn't always the type to be selfless and put his life on the line for others, he means. He was more likely to do so for the weak-- for the defenseless women and children of his hometown, but he'd never imagined he would have actually come to care for the comrades he'd been pushed together here with. ]

... I think this place has made me soft.

[ He's withdrawn, as well, expression more subdued and less sure than before.

Quickly, he lights back up. ]

You're right.

And friends share. [ He picks the mooncake back up. ] Or do you not like your own baking? Did you poison this in secret?

[wardance]

[ Masamune tilts his head curiously. ] Sof—

[ Ah, suddenly a mooncake is in his face and the young Date lord finds his cheeks puffing up in slight embarrassment because... because... ! ]

I... don't really like sweet things. I made them because I know you... ah, I mean, most people, do. [ He doesn't want to sound weird or anything-- he also made them for Gilgamesh and Vietnam and Lux, so of course it is natural to let him know, yes!?

It just sounds weird denying the food after being teased he might have poisoned them!? Sigh-!! ]

—But, OK, I'll do it if we're sharing. [ tsuntsun. But... For friendship!!-? ]

[flirtations]

[ He chooses not to remark on the not liking sweets bit, because truthfully, Jae-ha doesn't have a large appetite for sweets either, but he will happily enjoy things someone else has made with love. If anything, this is more of a reason to share! ]

Yes, what kind of friend would I be to just eat this all by myself?!

[ What comes next is a piece of mooncake unceremoniously pushed past Masamune's lips. He'll be gentle next time, probably, but right now he's still in bullying mode. ]

[ Masamune is not prepared for this bullying, in case it wasn't obvious by the face he makes when the cake is shoved into his mouth and there is little resistance.

You'd think the mooncake was actually super spicy or similar, even. The young warlord chews and swallows before there's an involuntary frazzled shudder of his body and he makes a sound that is probably a sputtered such but it comes out sounding closer to a higher-pitched eck. It's actually somehow probably reminds one of observing a cat flip its shit over anything (or nothing).

No time to waste watching, though, think fast! &mdashbecause he'll pounce suddenly to tackle Jae-ha to the ground. Sharing is caring and he's totally gonna bully feed right back given the chance!? ]

[flirtations]

[ … If Masamune was aiming to give any impression that would contradict the notion of “cute”, this was not the way to go about it. Others might find such a display of surprise (of catlike distaste) odd, or definitely a sign of discomfort that isn’t endearing, but to Jae-ha, it’s possibly the cutest sight he’s laid eyes on. He laughs at the response, so tickled that he’s likely to go in for a round 2--

Of course, before any of that can actually happen, he’s on his back, yelling in surprise as Masamune all but plummets into him with a hard tackle. He winces in pain, but even after he hits the hard ground, he’s still laughing, which makes it extremely easy for Masamune to get his revenge and shove cake into his open mouth. ]

Oi, oi, Masa-- [ COUGH COUGH MURMBLE AND PROBABLY SOME CHOKING

Nope, he’s still laughing, and now coughing madly all at once, and probably getting cake everywhere on his face. Blindly, he reaches over to grab a bit more cake off his plate (which miraculously fell and stayed intact, cake and all, to his side), and shoves it into Masa’s face. Not even his mouth. Any place on his face that he can hope to land. ]

[ So much for food-shoving into mouths when he gets a bunch of crumbs up his nose when. It's enough to get him to need to press one hand up against his nose because what the hell, nexus as getting it up the nose is gross and unexpected but kind of stupidly funny all the same... ] T... That's not even close!?

[ Okay, food fight it is, with getting a mooncake smushed into his face and all. He's fine with this and is more than willing to reciprocate, although he's now also laughing and taking poorer aim. His goal to stay on top, though, because that means he still is winning (when did it become this sort of game...!?)

Or maybe it's whoever runs out of energy smearing food over the other... oh well, who cares.

Good thing they're outside-- minimal cleanup work! ]

Don't choke so soon, it'll be a bad way to go.

[ The young Date lord is teasing, but... there is truth that it would be pretty humiliating to have that as a cause of death on your records. ]

[ It would be downright foul play to take advantage of his rank strength right now, so he doesn't. Besides, there's something fun and somewhat liberating about acting like a total fool on this porch. He's also grateful that Masamune doesn't seem to mind that this is how they're enjoying his hard work in the kitchen. ]

Then don't choke me?! Why are you-- [ Here, he actually stops to chew and swallow some of the mooncake before continuing. It's still delicious, by the way, but less savored and more... binge-eaten. ] Trying to kill me!

[ The next time Masamune's fingers wander close enough that he sees an opening, he leans forward and firmly bites down on a fleshy part. Not hard enough to bruise or break the skin, it likely won't even hurt that much (especially since he's careful to keep his fangs out of it), but definitely a tactical move! ]

You're a dragon, this shouldn't be an attempt on your life it should be total piece of cake! [ A tactical move for sure!

It gets Masamune to yip and drop any good he has, more surprised than anything, but not all that deterred. For better or for worse, he doesn't like being one-upped enough that he'll go to just about any distance necessary if he cares. This is nothing but good fun but he is naturally competitive so it just usually ends up this way.

He's also the type that bites back. The thing is, it's not necessarily a conscious urge but it's one all the same. Here, there's not an obvious retaliation point to chomp on so instinct directs him to the quickest known solution for finding an appropriate spot.

It happens to be Jae-ha's ear (again, but that would make sense considering last time). It's a light and fussy nip, not even as hard as the bite to his finger. The fact it's more affectionate in execution and due to placement it seems to calm Masamune down for a moment (and it does). Quietly, he presses words to the other's ear before ultimately pulling back with a light (though amused) sigh. ]

Teeth seem like they'd be against the rules.~

[ So, right, fine. Maybe he will spare the green dragon further choking attempts via set pastries.

[flirtations]

[ The teeth scraping against his ear cause him to immediately cease any and all cake attacks, his messy hands instead finding the depths of Masamune's hair. Very quickly, this has switched from something innocent to something less fitting for public display in Jae-ha's mind.

It's Masamune's fault?! Who resorted to tactics like these?! ]

They really should be, shouldn't they? But, I'm not complaining.

[ All things considered, in a situation like this, it was fairly easy, too easy to disarm Jae-ha. It probably doesn't help that he readily allows himself to come undone, completely willing to admit defeat.

But then... was it really defeat? He doesn't want to pull away just yet. They may be messy, but this is nice: the weight of Masamune on him, the warmth of his breath against his ear. ]

Ma...sa... mune. ♫

You win.

[ At least, that's what he'll say, before unceremoniously and effortlessly shifting his weight, reversing their positions. ]

[ Masamune seems extremely pleased with himself here at getting the win—

—ah, look at this position flip, when did that happen!! The surprise is evident before he exchanges it in favor of a smile, sighing dramatically before allowing a laugh to escape him as he looks up at the other. ]

I was going to ask what I get for winning, but maybe I should be asking what you want for it, instead, now?

[ He's not usually very into letting other people win these sorts of things, but... well, maybe this one time he might be okay with letting it happen. (As in this has nothing to do with the obvious strength difference or anything!!) ]

[flirtations]

No, you still win, I think, and winners get to choose their prize.

[ The "battle" was inherently unfair from the beginning, after all. He looks down at his cake-covered hand, looking at it thoughtfully. ]

Sorry about the cake in your hair, by the way. You can get revenge, if you want.

[ And yet, he's still not moving. Worse yet, he's lowering himself further, letting his cheek rest along Masamune's heartbeat. Just for a moment. ]

[ Ah right his hair... well, it beats bird shit, that's for sure.

Masamune does seem interested in being allowed revenge. Jae-ha might even hear it, the way his heart beats faster as he anticipates his own decision. The young warlord merely ends up wrapping his arms around the other in a hug to snuggle him affectionately. Really, Masamune doesn't know much from first hand experience about any of this closeness type stuff. Nevertheless, it seems naturally right when interacting with the other.

In a certain way, Masamune is like a child with his favorite dragon plush toy. He doesn't crush him (or even try to), and he's more suggestively affectionate in subtle ways ( such as brushing his knee up against the back of one of the other's legs-- which could be unintentional... maybe--) but the adoration is unmistakable. This dragon, this person, is someone he really likes and enjoys being around. Apparently he enjoys cuddling people or things if he's really in the mood.

Yes, okay. ]

I think I approve of this prize. I'll keep it.~
