Who: Anyone who wants to celebrate Mid Autumn Festival!
When: Roughly 11th September to 17th September.
Where: Gisela
What: A log for those who wish to use their tickets during Mid Autumn Festival! You can still use this log for visits outside of this week too (as a catch-all) but the script is for the festivities. Basically what you can do is hang out at the Inn, at Gisela, or check out the island's hot springs!
Rating: Probably PG only for if a lantern catches fire or something.


[Welcome to Gisela, the floating sky islands above Gresser! Known for its mystic scenery, hot springs, and the fact that you nearly died the one time you had a dungeon here, Gisela could be considered a popular vacation spot. Or at least it should be, because Vietnam invested good money into this inn.

Inn, you say? Yes, after the defeating the dungeon, Vietnam bought a business here, an inn near the hot springs, Dragon's Flight and Phoenix Dance. A normally quaint inn, it has transformed to offer more festivities. Staff will welcome you with elaborate fruit displays they will put in your room for you to admire (and eat). You may also like to sign up for mooncake making sessions, where you will be able to make mooncakes together with your friends and family! Share a moment with them, and then share the mooncake. Nice.

Lanterns are strung up, leading you out towards the gardens. The inn itself doesn't have a lot of space for A GREAT FESTIVAL, but on certain nights, there will be lion dancing and a few stalls opened up to sell souvenirs, all handcrafted thanks to Vietnam's instruction. Now, lion dancing usually consist of two or more people under a lion costume, however, some generous NPCs have lent them some tame magical lion beasts that look similar to the Asian mythological kind. However, Vietnam and Kija also found a pretty wild one that seems to be stuck eating some lion snacks, because they tried to wrangle it and before they could run, they were forced to commit. Kija named it Jae-ha.

Go further, and it seems like the hot springs that Vietnam has permission to use have also a bit of decoration themselves, with something heat and water proof, that is.

Should you just want to spend your time looking at the moon, darker, quieter areas of the gardens will let you do just that. Sit down and relax, of course.

If you don't really care about any of this at all, perhaps you'd just want to go sightseeing in Gisela!

And basically do whatever you want in this place, really. RELAX, HERO.]

[Syrlya looks down and tilts the bowl for a better look.] It is not done mixing yet, I know. The instructions say it needs to be firm enough to mold... so do I need more flour?

[whipoflust]

[ He considers this. Considering the state of the batter it might.. ] Quite possibly? Perhaps we didn't measure it correctly? [ He reaches for the flour... Should they add more? ]

[chronosynthesis]

I thought I had the right amount, but if it still isn't right... well, if we add it in small increments surely we cannot hurt it. [So he almost grabs for the flour, but since Chloe is already going for it he just tilts the bowl to make it easier to pour..]

[whipoflust]

[ They are meant to be doing this together, after all, and while Chloe does not like getting dirty this is far different from staining his hands with blood. ] There might just be a slight difference.. Maybe this recipe required the exact amount and not a millilitre missing? Although of course that is merely a speculation... [ he picks up a little flour in a measuring cup, and carefully sprinkles a little into the batter, keeping his eyes peeled on it to see if there is any change. ]

[chronosynthesis]

If the recipes asks for a specific amount, it must be for a reason. [Who would just waste ingredients?? Intentionally.

Syrlya starts to stir the batter again as more flour is poured in.] I think it is a little thicker. Maybe.

[whipoflust]

It must be, yes. [ He tries to see if he can tell if there is any difference but he can't really see any. ] Do you think that more is required?

[chronosynthesis]

I... [He looks down at the bowl and furrows his brow, stirring the batter once more.] I don't know what it is supposed to look like. Just that we are supposed to mold it.

I suppose we should just try, and if it does not hold its shape add more flour.

[whipoflust]

That is a problem... It would have been beneficial if we had been shown what it was supposed to look like. [ But there was nothing to do about that at this stage. They would just have to see if they managed to succeed or not.

He nods. ]

Yes, that does seem like a sound idea.

[chronosynthesis]

[He dusts off his hands before scooping out a glop of the dough and dropping it into his hand to try and mold it. It holds its shape for a moment, but slowly falls out of form as it sits.]

... it is supposed to be completely firm, isn't it? [He turns his hand over to drop the batter back into the batch.] I think it needs more. Half a cup? More?

From what I've gathered... [ He dips the cup back into the flour, and fills it with around half a cup. ] I suppose that we can only try and see the what result we get.
