What: Master and Servant go on their very first date together! Hopefully it's not a complete disaster...
Rating: Probably general audiences nah it's pretty PG-13 after that boobgrab.

[Dates weren't exactly an everyday occurrence for Gilgamesh—at least not planned ones, his outings as King were far more demanding and, uh, compulsory—but he's fallen into stride with them easily enough here. He actually didn't have any swimwear prior to Hakuno's suggestion of a pool, so he's picked up a simple pair of patterned golden shorts and matching sandals for that very purpose before heading out to meet her by her door.

Of course, that's all he's wearing by the time he arrives, but it's nothing she hasn't seen in the past. He greets her with a friendly wave and a big grin, and if there's any sign of tension from their previous conversation, as always it has all but evaporated.]

There you are, girl! I presume you almost ready for our grand undertaking?

[...never mind it being a date. Now it's a grand undertaking.]

[Gilgamesh stops walking, abruptly, and halts her as well.]

Hakuno. If Kirei should ever come to this world, I urge you to keep your distance. He has been distorted... warped, by something... which attracted me to him in the first place. He's an addicting presence, to be sure. But he will hurt you if given the chance, even for his own amusement.

[Gilgamesh actually seems scared. Or, if not scared, then distinctly bothered by the idea of the two of them interacting for any significant period of time. Maybe it would be fun to watch for awhile, but inevitably, Kirei would cave to his baser nature and plot against her, inflicting the sort of suffering even he cannot espouse.

And Gilgamesh won't allow anyone to do that—anyone else, besides him.]

I must be your first call if you should see him. Afford me this much, Hakuno.

O-Okay. I promise.

[Her own experiences with the Moon Cell's Kotomine were enough to let her know that he was a warped man, but perhaps their shared identity as NPCs sapped some of the danger from him. In a strange, strange way, she can look back on their somewhat barbed exchanged with the vaguest sort of fondness. Perhaps Gilgamesh picked up on that. Perhaps that's why he seems so urgent.]

If something like that happens, I'll call you.

Hopefully, you would not have to, if I might kill him first.

[At least they've arrived now, so they'll have food to distract them from what's become an awkward conversation.]

[Gilgamesh gestures a waitress over, and... he likes that pastrami so much, he orders three of them.]

[Just one. For all that she loves food, she doesn't make the mistake of stuffing herself.]

Ah, and an order of macaroons and a slice of the gateau.

[Oh, no. She said it. She said the magic word.]

[...he's slamming his fists like a toddler on the table...]

Hakuno gently catches his fists in her hands and offers a small smile to the waitress.]

We'll have four orders of macaroons too, to start with.

[She doubts they won't finish them, given that glorious display of mature excitement just now, but if they don't they can always take the leftovers with them.]

Four! Make it forty, on the double!

[Thankfully, the waitress in question seems to understand Gilgamesh's tendency to exaggerate, so with a nervous smile she heads off to fill the order... four, not forty. Gilgamesh swings back to absolutely enthused again, practically bubbling up with energy on the other side of the table.]

Ah, I adore this place! They always know just what I like.

[With a clever smirk:]

And somehow, so do you. You could write a book, you know—"Inside the King."

[...what a poor choice of phrasing.]

I suppose I could. I'm surprised you brought it up, though.

[And not just because of the yelling match they had over that misunderstanding either.]

"I cannot approve of letting those other than my mongrel here catch a glimpse of the king’s unpainted face." He said that, but yielded because it was an emergency. ...plus, I'm not sure I'd want to write that book. Everything I know about you, I learned through my own hard work and perseverance, you know? It's not something I'll just share offhand.

Your instincts are pitiful indeed that you might fail to detect that as a jest.

[She crosses her ankles and swings them, slow and idle.]

...it is less that I am "fine" with it and more that it becomes increasingly obvious to me your claims are truthful.

[And thus cannot be denied, even by one as stubborn as himself. At the end of the day, the truth was still the truth.]
