[closed] I want, I want, I want...
Who: Gilgamesh and Hakuno
When: Shortly before the dungeon.
Where: Caissa
What: Master and Servant go on their very first date together! Hopefully it's not a complete disaster...
Rating:Probably general audiences nah it's pretty PG-13 after that boobgrab.
[Dates weren't exactly an everyday occurrence for Gilgamesh—at least not planned ones, his outings as King were far more demanding and, uh, compulsory—but he's fallen into stride with them easily enough here. He actually didn't have any swimwear prior to Hakuno's suggestion of a pool, so he's picked up a simple pair of patterned golden shorts and matching sandals for that very purpose before heading out to meet her by her door.
Of course, that's all he's wearing by the time he arrives, but it's nothing she hasn't seen in the past. He greets her with a friendly wave and a big grin, and if there's any sign of tension from their previous conversation, as always it has all but evaporated.]
There you are, girl! I presume you almost ready for our grand undertaking?
[...never mind it being a date. Now it's a grand undertaking.]

She huffs out a small laugh, helplessly infected by his good mood.]
I think so, yes. I've got some money, but should I take my Carrier too?
[There should be room in her purse for Francis Xavier if she moves a few things around...]

[It's not just a matter of compassionate charity; Gilgamesh was simply better off in nearly every way that mattered in this world due to a more timely arrival and a fantastically successful business enterprise. Which wasn't to say he couldn't or wouldn't haggle down any prices he found unfair—as many as a charmed cashier could sadly attest—but in this case, he has no issue treating them both for the day.
That dress, though... somehow that color really suited her. Gilgamesh grants her his coveted Thumbs Up of Approval™!]
And so long as it's nothing like my own worthless cetin, I do not mind. We can take, uh, how does that modern phrasing go...?
[Incoming pathetic "I'm cool and hip and totally not five thousand years old" attempt.]
"Selfies"!
no subject
So, Hakuno leans back into her room, presses a kiss to her fingertips, and waggles them at her sleepy little squirrel.]
Well, I'm off Francis Xavier. Be good while I'm out.
[It's the most non-confrontational, firm rejection of that suggestion she can manage, and she doesn't linger on it. She just shuts the door behind her, steps towards him, and smiles benignly.]
So, where is our "grand undertaking" taking us today?
no subject
I suppose we could get something to eat first, and then visit the pool... or the reverse would work just as well. Ordinarily I do not place much stock in idle rumor, but I am told it is not good to swim on a full stomach.
[Gilgamesh offers his hand with a charming smile. Sometimes, he really didn't look any worse than a handsome young man.]
But in either case, please lead me. I permit you the accordant rights for a day, so make good use of them.

[Hakuno slips her hand into his and starts to walk, thinking as she goes. Handling Gilgamesh requires the ability to make split-second decisions with rock-solid willpower, and also a general flexibility. That much is true, even here.]
Well, we can stop somewhere and get some cold drinks for later.
[That seems like a happy medium.]
Is a date something one person takes charge of?
no subject
["But Gilgamesh, why are you letting a little girl lead you around, then?"]
I am taking charge by redistributing absolute authority to your person. Obviously.
no subject
[She laughs at that, her fingers tightening around his slightly as her shoulders shake.]
What a steadfast lugal I have to myself today.
no subject
How pleasing that you should use my tongue so well! I should teach you more.
no subject
[She perks up and they hit the street.]
The song you sang sounded... really captivating. I don't know whether or not I can carry a tune, but even recited I'm sure it would be nice.
no subject
[And once they hit the street, Gilgamesh's demeanor changes. His casual grip turns firmer, and he holds Hakuno more closely to him; when people glance over at them as they walk past, Gilgamesh makes sure they could not be mistaken for anything but a romantic couple. It's the usual blend of his protectiveness and his possessiveness.]
But naturally, I know many other languages, as well. I could seduce you in every single one without effort!
[Someone's sounding particularly confident today.]
no subject
Still, Hakuno naturally follows his lead, without much intent. She's not a showy person by nature, but she's used to following the lead of one. She doesn't even question it, really, and shifts closer to him as much to avoid the crowds as to keep pace with him.]
Well, I don't think I need to learn how to seduce people in various languages. I've only read a summarized version of your Epic, so I guess it is past due for me to learn the whole thing.

[Then again, his bed's like a revolving door of company whereas hers remains woefully empty outside herself, so it may be a difference in lifestyles. At least he has decided against bringing that part up, starting to swing their joined hands merrily together and hum a few cheery notes aloud.]
Very well! I shall regale you the tale of Ishtar, and her wicked ways! And Humbaba, and his clever tricks! And, and, and...
[What a dork. But better this than him babbling on about the state of her wallet.]
no subject
She bumps her hip against his.]
Don't let detailing Ishtar's sins take up too much of our time, okay?
no subject
[Gilgamesh, please.]
It was, how you contemporaries say, awesome.
no subject
[She squeezes his hand, indulgent and earnest in equal measure.]
And Humbaba? Did he throw anything at you?
no subject
Still, Gilgamesh doesn't seem bothered, mainly because he's recalling the fighting rather than everything that followed it.]
He threw the wind itself, from every direction. The Bull was practically a trifling encounter in comparison; Humbaba has always been my fiercest foe.
[He squeezes that hand back, and his eyes upon her could only be called adoring.]
Though I am certain you had your share of grand battles, too. Every Master worth their salt should.
no subject
She doesn't know how to read it, properly. She thinks over her fights, overlooking the more bitter ones.]
Well, yes. It would be an insult to the other participants if the winner didn't have at least a few epic fights, wouldn't it? But, the one I probably personally accomplished the most in, was...
[She blanches even at the memory, paling and shivering beneath the summer sun.]
The Dracul's Dinner Dining Table.
no subject
And what was all that about, exactly...?
no subject
[Shudder. Shudder.]
It was... so bad. It damaged the very fabric of my soul, but I managed to eat it all. That hideous, agonizing, nauseating scarlet feast.
no subject
[Hakuno...]
no subject
[She shakes her head.]
There were more impressive fights, but most of that is more because of you than me.
no subject
[Though that doesn't explain the absurd ego which dictates his constant reinforcement of said prowess.]
I do regret I did not personally participate in this adventure. In a way, it sounds more exciting than my own war.
no subject
[She rests her temple against his shoulder briefly, before tugging him down a side street.]
I wonder if this place has a magic that can share memories...?
no subject
...I do not know if you would wish to see mine. That war was also something of a nightmare.
no subject
[She's seen horrors before, and tragedies, but she isn't exactly hungering for more.]
I was thinking, I want you to see it. My War, and... and how I first met you, and how we fought BB. I'm not as good a story-teller as you.
