1) (Closed)

[The markets of Blanc were crowded and bustling on this evening, barely giving a second's glance to the blonde girl and blue-haired boy who made their way through the throngs of people. Aigis had noted the potions shop's location the last time she'd come down here, so it was simple to lead Minato there, but they largely walked in silence.

She was nervous. At least she thought she was nervous. This was a sensation she couldn't recall feeling before, a way that she felt antsy, like she had to move, like she couldn't stay still. Her computational cycles seemed to be working overtime, calculating potential outcomes no matter how likely.

Was this anxiety...?] Ah, it's just down this next street after the jewelry shop. Please stay close, Minato-san.

2) (Open)

[Aigis seems to be walking with a spring in her step. Or something in her step, at any rate. She's animated and lively, but ever so often she'll take a step and then suddenly wobble or even crumple to the floor with a little gasp. It's as if she's forgotten how her legs work, but how could that be possible?

Of course, the next time she stumbles, she stumbles into you.] Oh, I'm sorry! I-- I lost my balance, I'm terribly sorry about that! [Except when she fell against you, she didn't knock you over like she might have, were she still made out of heavy metal and ceramic armor. In fact, she feels kind of soft.

Kind of like a human?]

3) (Open)

[They say that Monday's meals in the cafeteria aren't great. In fact, they say they're downright awful. Today's meal is some sort of curry rice... you think. It's almost gelatinous. This definitely doesn't seem like curry, or rice.

That doesn't seem to be stopping Aigis, who is actually wolfing it down, somehow?] T-this... it tastes terrible! I really hate it! [She says surprisingly cheerfully, before resuming eating it.]

4) (Open)

[Oh, good old public baths. They're really underrated. The last time Aigis was in a place like this, she literally lay on the bottom of the hot spring, completely submerged. This time, though, she's actually wrapped in a towel from underarms to thighs, and is standing on the side of the bath, looking at the water almost anxiously.

She carefully balances herself on one leg, reaching out with her other foot (those who have seen her mechanical legs will note that the presence of feet itself is unusual) to dip her toe into the steaming water. Whatever she's expecting, though, this doesn't seem to be it.] --ah!

[It's enough to cause her to lose her balance. Splash.]

[Susan is watching them eat with almost morbid curiosity. Mondays was her primary incentive to make as much money as possible so she'd never have to eat there on Monday ever again.

She, frankly, would rather have eaten the bombs from the train that whatever it is she is watching Aigis shovel down.]

T-then.. why?

Because I've never been able to eat something this bad before! It's a fascinating new experience! Somehow, my body knows that this tastes bad... but what about it is bad? What are the inherent qualities that make it bad? I can't actually tell!

I would imagine the fact that every bite makes you wish to be impaled on something.

[She seems to get...well, actually nothing, but she can assume.]

Have you been without a sense of taste, before?

[She runs into this nerd, who stumbles but catches himself--he's used to running into people, and to being run into. He doesn't know enough to know something is odd, so he simply bows in apology.]

O-Oh no, it was my fault! I should have been paying attention to where I was going. I-I'm really sorry. But thanks, I super appreciate it. A-are you okay?

Hm? [Aigis seems puzzled by the way the young man responds. It takes her a second before she remembers to bow.] No, it was very clearly my fault. I've been losing my balance all day. You don't need to apologize.

I'm otherwise completely unharmed, though. I haven't hurt you, have I?

[fuhrinkaed]

Nah, nah. You're fine--I'm pretty tough, so you wouldn't hurt me at all with a simple bump.

--Why've you been losing your balance, though? Did Kaito ask you to test a potion too, and it made you dizzy? I can help, if that's the case.

*Oh, well, that was unfortunate. Normally people don't accidentally go into the water quite so spectacularly. Lola walks over, shame not really on her mind at all, being careful to keep her hair from getting wet. Between 'covering her nudity in a bath' and 'hair dry' the second is far more important.*

Are you okay?

[Aigis crests the surface of the water, sputtering and coughing and spitting water out of her mouth. She reaches to cling to the side of the bath, looking actually fairly unhappy, her towel floating away.] I-I-I [She coughs again.] I-- believe I've inadvertently inhaled some water...! This is-- [Another cough] --really quite unpleasant!

*Lola looks confused. Because breathing water is very bad. Even if it isn't drowning bad it is still not a fun way to spend your bath. Or the beach, unless your plan was to get a cute lifeguard to give you mouth to mouth. Not that Lola's ever done that, she is a classy lady and asks them to make out with her.*

Did you think you were a mermaid while you were in the water? I've done that before but I didn't try to breath it before!

G-guh...!!

[Yeah, it's really not the best, is it? Even so she's far more interested in Aigis' wolfing it down with such little trouble. How can she even stomach this?]

Incredible! Just how far are you going to go?!

Hm? Oh, with the food!

[She pauses, fork halfway to her mouth, deep in thought.] I don't know. Perhaps I'll eat until I'm full? I want to know what that feels like.

[ateaist]

Want to know...? How could you not?

[She must be lacking context here or something, surely.]

[Vietnam catches her, though she's confused as to...why.

In fact, she feels warm and soft, which isn't at all like the time they rested together and shared mana.]

Aigis? You're... [A bit lighter too.] Feeling different.

[seventhgen]

Oh--! Vietnam-san! [Aigis finally gets her feet underneath her, pushing off Vietnam's body (with human hands) and standing as tall as she can, a big smile on her face.] I am feeling different, and I'm pleased you've noticed! Do you notice anything else? [She says with a cheerful smile.]

[hoasen]

[And so she settles, and--...her hands are soft too. She looks so proud, she's beaming.

Vietnam stares in awe. It couldn't be! But it could, because anything is possible. She's not exactly the same as she once was either!]

You're...you have a human body!

[ Maki had been outside, practicing her dance moves, humming the song to herself to keep in step and follow the cues she remembers. She'd been just wearing her usual practice outfit of a zipup purple jacket and striped green and black leggings, as she always did. But she was so focused on her dancing she hadn't even heard Aigis's appearance, or the fact that she was being stumbled into until it was too late.

And with Maki on one leg in the middle of her dance routine (and as tiny as she is herself) it's no wonder she would go down. ]

E-Euehhh!?

[ Only when she lands on the grass, with something... soft on top of her, she slowly opens her eyes to find.... ]

A-Aigis-san?! [ Wait, something is definitely off here! ]

--ah! Maki-san, I'm so sorry! [Aigis scrambles off her friend as quickly as she can, pulling her knees underneath her body and bowing deeply in apology.] You're not hurt, are you? I'm sorry, I lost my balance!

[cutiepanther]

[ Maki sighs, but she's not actually mad or even hurt, just a little surprised. The robot had come out of nowhere--

Wait, robot?

From the ground where she's sitting up on the grass, she first looks at the other girl's feet. Then her knees (skipping over if she's wearing a skirt...) and then up to the girl's face.

Something very apparent hits her almost as hard as Aigis did herself. ]

W-What happened?!

[ Minato never really felt the need to fill silences with anything. He's always been inclined to quiet and Aigis has never much seemed the type to argue. Now, though, the silence is heavy between them, if only because of the gravity of what is about to take place. He's seen some pretty magical things happen in Blanc thus far, but he is a little worried.

What if it doesn't work? Or what if it does and it's not what she expected? He can only imagine that it's going to be...shocking, to say the very least.

So when she did speak, he lifts his eyes up a bit, shifting his gaze over to her. He nods, glancing down the length of the sidewalk. He believes he sees the sign for the jewelry shop as they approach. ]

Are you ready?

[ Is there anyway she can ever be? ]

[It takes a few moments before she answers; they walk in silence (or as silent as a bustling market can be). After a few more steps, she answers without a nod or shake of her head.] I'm not sure.

...I understand that it will be temporary, but it is still... intimidating.

I am happy to have you here with me, though. [When she looks at him, she's smiling again.

Apparently robots can fake smiles.]

[ Then she fakes it well, because it has it's intended affect. Minato smiles lightly in return, an attempt to be reassuring. ]

I'm glad to be here. [ He pauses as they come to the front of the shop. ] ...Just remember, you're still you.

Nyu!

[Unfortunately, Nyu's about a hundred pounds soaking wet. She wouldn't have had much of a chance either way. Over she goes!

She does curl her back enough as she lands not to hit her head or knock too much of the air out of her lungs; bumbling as she might have been, she wasn't entirely useless.

The small floppy eared dog scampering at her heels still yipped a little in concern.]

Are you all right? [Aigis scrambles off Nyu as fast as she can, crouching at her side.] I'm so sorry, I didn't see you there!

[ Souji tends to stick far away from the cafeteria on Mondays. He has resorted to just cooking most of his meals now, for his own health and safety, but even so, his curiosity gets the best of him. He just sometimes has to check to see what's there. Maybe if he's daring enough, he might even try it. It's not the end result of him curled up in his bed, but it's the journey of getting there that matters, and that's why he's here now. However, when he does arrive, he spots a very familiar person, but there's....... something different about her? ]

Aigis-san?

[ Is she... eating?? ]

[She hears a familiar voice, though without her voice database she can't immediately connect it to Souji, and looks up. She brightens and waves eagerly at him, talking... with her mouth full. Terrible manners, Aigis.] Sozhi-shan!
