[open] when the lives we lived are only golden-plated
Who: Shinoa and you
When: The end of June- after the June war log
Where: Lasker
What: On break at the Soul Train job, and Shinoa gets herself quite a few haters. No one said everyone had to take on the blame for the other train.
Rating: Likely discussion of death and things?
[The civilians don't hide that they don't appreciate the Heroes being here. So Shinoa doesn't hide that she doesn't appreciate being here either, stony-faced as she hands out blankets and relief supplies.
As far as she's concerned, they've done what they were told to do. Blanc's upper brass just happened to screw up their directions. She resents that the civilians are taking it out on her- understands, to some extent, but draws a line between a comrade hurling accusations and a civilian who knows nothing of a soldier's life- and well, fifteen is not the most mature of ages. Some tavern owner charges her triple for a glass of water on her break and she has had it, damnit.]
Oi! What is your problem?!
[She slams the countertop with a lot more force than her size belies. The owner snaps back a derisive retort. People frown and shake their heads.]
This is how it is in war, do you think giving me this kind of attitude will make me magically be in two places at once? Save people that can't be saved?! I've got dead friends and family too, what gives you the right to spit on me?
People die! Suck it up!
[And there she goes. If you don't catch her here -or back at the handout stations- after her last hour on shift she'll be on the outskirts of Lasker, training angrily with her scythe.]

[ He's just going to remove the long wooden sword strapped to his back slowly, more than ready for battle. ]
