June 1 | Hall of Glory

[ SLEEPING BEAUTY AWAKES...

Feeling kinda shitty. Yoon has no idea when he ended up in his bed or how long he's slept, but he feels stiff and groggy and still-drained even as he drags himself out from under the covers. The last things he remembers are foggy. Was he sick? Did he train too hard and pass out from mana exhaustion?

Eventually, Yoon gets up and manages to get dressed -- casual pants, a loose tunic and scarf -- and wanders slowly over toward the Queen hall where his friends live to see if anyone is around.

Maybe he comes knocking on the door, or maybe he runs into someone before he even gets there?? It is a mystery. ]

June 3 | Closed to Sion:

[ Just because he somehow managed to pass out for a couple of weeks for no reason (creepy?!) is no reason to slack off on his training. In fact, now Yoon feels like he has even more catching up to do. He'd called Sion shortly after waking up to apologize for being unable to keep up with his training, and on Sion's insistence that Yoon get some good rest first, they'd arranged for a meeting a few days later.

Thus far, they've been at it for a while already, practicing in an open clearing outside of the capital, on the outskirts of the scattered villages that border it. The weather is pleasant today, sunny without being too hot, and the meadow is in bloom, painted with wildflowers.

Yoon kneels in the grass, notebook in his lap awaiting instruction. Sion said they might start on some new concepts today if he's ready. ]

[ SO FORWARD... no, it's fine. Yoon looks surprised, and even more confused. ]

I don't think I'm sick, you know.

[ And suddenly there is a water bottle in his face. This encounter is just getting more and more embarrassing the more she frets over him. He's the one who frets over people, ok!! ]

Oh- Uh, thanks. I'm sure that's a good idea.

[ He drinks a bit, trying to focus on calming down and taking a few deep breaths, getting his strength back some so he can stand up again. After having some, Yoon hands the bottle back and thanks her again. ]

[hoasen]

[Look, better safe than sorry, Yoon! Someone has to fret over him. She knows, because Jae-ha told her he's such a mother.]

Just in case. It is still better to hydrate yourself.

[So she's happy that he's drinking it up, waiting for him to settle down again before taking the bottle after it's returned.]

You have a point.

[ Yoon nods, smiling, and tries to reassess how he feels. He doesn't really feel hungry, mostly very drained and weak, but-- ]

I'm sure it's a good idea to eat, too. I probably just need some food and water after not having any for a while.

Sorry to bother you, but would you mind coming with me to the kitchen?

[ Juuuust in case he can't make it on his own. That's embarrassing to think, but he's also gotta be practical. ]

[hoasen]

[Actually, that's a good idea too. Even while being drained and tired, Yoon's practical enough to assess the situation. She's impressed.]

Of course! I will come with you. I can prepare you something as well.

[Since he's tired, she wouldn't want him exerting himself so soon.]

[tsyoon]

Ah- Alright, if you really wouldn't mind.

[ Yeah, he can tell it will be difficult to prepare a decent meal when he's feeling so lightheaded, though he was also ready to try. This is nice, though. It's good to have company.

That settled, he pushes himself back up to his feet, using the wall for support as needed. ]

Uh.

[ A pause. He looks startled, and suddenly sheepish. ]

What was your name again?

[ Introductions weren't really a thing at that mess of a party. Blame Jae-ha... ]

[hoasen]

I don't mind at all.

[In fact she enjoys cooking, and hasn't really had a chance to cook for others yet. She has to repay him for all his hard work at the party too.

And as soon as he's up on his feet, she's already extending her hands just in case.]

Vietnam. It is nice to meet you again, Yoon. [She bows her head politely. DON'T WORRY SHE GETS IT, he's also been asleep for a while.]

[ Yoon dips his head politely in return, though he stubbornly refuses her help if he doesn't need it. Which seems to be the case, at least for now. He feels weak, but not about to fall over. They can go slowly. ]

Same here. Thanks for taking the time to... y'know. [ Gesturing sheepishly. ]

Help me out here.

If you tell me what kind of food you like, I'll make you something in return later.

[If he's doing okay, she won't take his hand stubbornly! At least not yet. Since he's not struggling, so they should be okay. She's definitely going to go slowly for him anyway.]

It is the least I can do. [If he's a friend, or family, of Jae-ha, Kija and Shin-ah, then he will be a friend too.]

You really do not have to make anything for me...but as you cook so well, perhaps I will be greedy. What is your best and favourite?
