[ Graham honestly could have done a better job avoiding the fortune tellers, mostly because he'd been occupied with fending out the rascally monkeys. But he couldn't help but notice a frightened looking boy being bombarded by nonsense. He can sense right away that he's uncomfortable, and he paces toward the booth, intending to sweep the boy off his feet and to freedom. What is it about awkward, lost-looking young lads that he can't seem stop getting involved with?

Unfortunately, it doesn't all go as planned. As he reaches for the boy, Graham finds himself instead being grabbed by the bicep and yanked in. Which throws him in a loop; he hadn't expected the woman to be so strong! No wonder the kid hadn't been able to escape. Graham utters a wheezed oof as he's maneuvered against the young lad, shoulder-to-shoulder. This has got to be one of the most bizarre thing to happen here already, aside from waking up naked with a talking hamster.

A mess is right, though - but ah, he could have been involved with far worse things. The boy's voice tickles his ear when he speaks, but Graham leans against it anyway, if only to speak back, just above a whisper (he doesn't know how to whisper, okay): ]

Haha, well! It won't be my first foray with destiny, young lad! [ Examining him closely, now - ] You don't seem like the type who would say "no" to help.

Oh, um, well, no, I don't mind helping...

[ If anything, he needs help saying no to being asked to help, even when it's directly against his best interests to do so. Does he really look like such a pushover? He kind of is one, though, so he can't really blame this guy for thinking it.

Although the way the man speaks is certainly a little odd, like something out of a movie. Well, a movie from before the world ended, but still. He seems like one of those brash heroes out to save the world.

Despite himself, Yoichi smiles a little, just faintly. Even though the words are far too cultured (and why is he being called young lad, does he really look that young?), this man still kind of reminds him a little of his friend's boundless enthusiasm.
]

It, um, just seems kind of strange. Destiny, like a prophecy and all that.

[ He's not sure what to make of Graham's claim to having had previous forays with destiny, but Yoichi certainly hasn't had an run-ins. ]
