[ Jae-ha can't say he's ever had the luxury of partaking in milk baths. Perhaps this was a privilege offered to the nobility and royalty of his home (he'd have to ask Kija when he got the chance, or Yona when he saw her again), but as for him, it seems perfectly wasteful. Still, he readily accepts the chance to bond with his Hall of Glory roommate, given that even after a month of living together, he still can't figure out Setsuna as a person.

He was quiet, that was for sure, and not quite the menace his first impression might have suggested. His quiet words made him all the more mysterious. He cared enough for the lives of innocent people to put his own life on the line during battle, and that was enough for Jae-ha to desire friendship. He was strong, too, and carried himself with an element of grace that made him wonder just what the man's profession was in his own world.

Right now, he's not thinking of that, though. He's simply glancing over to his friend, in the adjacent tub of milk, marveling at how at peace Setsuna looks. Jae-ha doesn't think he's ever seen him so relaxed, not even when he's sleeping. Slowly, he steps into his own bath, casting aside the towel around his waist and lowering himself into the liquid.

Interesting... ]

Enjoying yourself there, Setsuna? [ Sorry to interrupt your relaxation session, just checking to make sure you're still alive. ]

[ It's the same case for Setsuna; this is only the second time that he's trying this out... The first time was with Asuna yesterday (SEPARATELY!!), since she encouraged him to try it about a month ago — back when the Heroes first saw the Airy. The rumors of milk baths caught their ears, so they were both equally curious of it. They both found themselves quickly enamored by experience, as it's indeed relaxing... The milk seems to have added bath essences, so it really feels good on the skin. It also smells pleasantly sweet.

This whole experience is still foreign to Setsuna, despite experiencing it previously. So past his usual emotionless expression, if Jae-ha looked close enough, the young Meister's eyes are actually faintly glimmering. This stupid milk drinker... Anyway, he's content to be here today with Jae-ha this time around. He recognized the older man's reliability in battle — especially that kind heart he possesses. He couldn't forget about his unwavering determination during the Narcissa Expo incident. A valuable ally such as Jae-ha is someone Setsuna can easily appreciate. Not to mention, he's got a nice sense of humor. Being in his company can make most people smile.

After his attention is called, Setsuna snaps out of his solitary bliss in favor of looking at his companion. Although his expression still doesn't change, there's a growing hint of curiosity across his face. ]

Yes...

[ It's hard not to enjoy this, it's what made him come back. He does wonder if Jae-ha is enjoying it as well, but figures he'll know the answer soon enough even if he doesn't ask. Instead, he reaches for the basket of fruits near the two of them and then offers it to the Green Dragon's direction. Take one! ]

[ Setsuna looks so cute like this, actually. It's nice to see that he has the ability to actually relax and let down his guard a bit. He doesn't mind the fact that Setsuna's not exactly a chatterbox-- he's spent all this time around Shin-ah, after all, and has come to learn how to read his body language, instead. His smile warms a bit as Setsuna offers him fruit, and he reaches forward to take a few figs. ]

[ Now, he truly sinks down into his bath, having gotten over the strangeness of it, at least for the most part. It's sweet smelling, enriched with honey and various other spices, but not overly so. He can't deny that it puts his muscles at ease and calms his mind, and he actually shuts up for a good minute or so.

When he does speak again, he keeps his voice low, not wanting to disturb the nice atmosphere too much. ]

Recovering after battle is so much more than just getting adequate sleep, don't you think? Still, I've never been able to indulge in something like this.

[ After Jae-ha takes a fruit, Setsuna follows suit and picks one for himself as well. He sets the basket down properly before he takes a bite from his own selected fruit. Figs... he wonders if that's the Green Dragon's favorite fruit. Meanwhile, Setsuna is chewing through an apple as the calming atmosphere continues for a while.

By the time Jae-ha speaks up again, Setsuna is already halfway through the apple. As someone who is dedicated to physical activities such as daily training, he's always quick to develop an appetite. Spending that much energy can do that to a person. So when the Green Dragon makes that remark, he can only agree. On both statements, as he too isn't used to such luxury. ]

That is right. It is more difficult to recover... With the existence of mana.

[ It's his first time encountering such a concept. The word mana exists in his world, but it wasn't a widely used term. And most of the time, they're only found in fictional contexts... But here he is, in a world where mana is everything.

Hmm... Maybe that's why this bath feels so soothing. He wouldn't be surprised there's mana-enriched essences within the milk blend. ]

At least, that is how I feel. [ Someone who is used to magic might adjust better. ] Was there such a thing in your world?

[flirtations]

[ Even in the hot springs back home, Jae-ha's never felt like this in a bath. The tub is just large enough to accommodate someone of his size, but there's something about the way the scents fill his mind, and yes, there's something energizing about the warmth surrounding them, too. When he answers Setsuna, he's almost finished with his fruit, his nose mere inches from the surface of the water, long hair half-soaked. He probably shouldn't fall asleep here. Thankfully, Setsuna's company is interesting enough to ensure that he doesn't. ]

Something like mana? No, not quite. [ He sits up, the cool breeze hitting his bare shoulders pleasantly. ] As far as I know, the only people in my world with anything like magic abilities are the Four Dragons. [ That's right, has he ever discussed this with Setsuna? ] What about you, Setsuna-kun?

[quaria]

[ Four Dragons... Setsuna briefly heard about dragons from Kija, but not in great detail. He doesn't know enough to understand the context. It's his first time hearing "Four Dragons," in particular. ]

Four Dragons... White Dragon Kija and you? [ Plus two others that he hasn't met. ] And, not at all. In my world, magic is merely fantasy. It is not a concept that is widely spoken of apart from fiction.

[ Magic... Setsuna has never even dreamed of it. He was completely baffled on his first day in this world. As he thinks about everything again, his eyes wander to the window framing the outside sky.

Yes... To him, that one in particular is more familiar to him. The sight and sensation of the sky... Perhaps thousands of years ago, humans can only dream of flying. Through technological progression however, that dream became a reality. That's about the only magic he could relate to. ]

[flirtations]

Hm? You've met Kija-kun? [ He opens his eyes in interest, then, peering at Setsuna over the edge of the tub. ] Yes. There's also Seiryuu, Shin-ah. He's here too. And Ouryuu, Zeno. He wasn't brought here like the rest of us.

[ Which is strange, in retrospect, but not something he dwells on mentally too much. He figures the "gods" here must have their reasons.

He follows Setsuna's gaze, wondering what's going on in that mysterious mind of his. ]

This must be quite the adjustment, then. [ What follows is a joke-- kind of. ] Not such a difficult adjustment that you're thinking about jumping out of that window, are you?

[quaria]

[ Setsuna has actually met Shin-ah, but neither of them spoke a word to each other when they interacted. He fed the Blue Dragon, since the poor man didn't have an idea of how to feed himself. It was like feeding a stray.

So one of the Four Dragons is not here. That reminds Setsuna of his own situation. There are four Gundam Meisters, but only three of them are here. It's indeed strange...

Once Jae-ha started to humor him, Setsuna actually picks up on it and nearly smiled. He holds it back though, so the only thing lightened about him are his eyes as usual. He tries to return the joke. ]

No, but I would like to practice high jumping sometime.

[ Maybe Jae-ha can help him with that. He's a Gundam, he knows the sensation of jumping from extreme elevations! ]

[ Setsuna may not outright laugh, but he can see the tiny gleam of a smile in his eye. It's also thanks to Shin-ah that he's become substantially better at reading body language, so that helps, too. It makes his own smile (very obvious, very visible) grow wider. He sinks further into his bath.

But what he says next catches him so off-guard that he nearly sinks all the way and accidentally breathes in, choking to regain his breath. ]

Whoa, Setsuna! Are you serious?! You can do that?!

[quaria]

[ When Jae-ha started to choke, Setsuna moves closer in concern. Thankfully though, the Green Dragon seems more than fine. The young Meister pauses from the whiplash, processing it wordlessly for a moment.

Jae-ha, don't worry him like that. ]

Yes... I used to do it at home. [ In a Gundam mostly, though Setsuna is also trained to perform parkour and such. ] I have to relearn it here, but I do not think it will be too difficult.

[flirtations]

I wouldn't mind giving you a few pointers, sometime. I wish I had known earlier-- we could have started much sooner!

[ Jae-ha actually seems pretty gung-ho about this. It may be because he's never shared this interest with anyone else. Not many people understood his need to be one with the sky. He sits back up with interest. ]

To be confined to the ground when you know you should have wings... no one should suffer that fate.

[quaria]

[ There's a soft glance at hearing the first statement, especially at the latter. Jae-ha's excitement to reach the heavens... It feels like a similar wavelength to his own, as well as those from Celestial Being. The skies, where they all belong — the skies, where they could witness so many things with their own eyes.

Setsuna can't help but inch even closer; day by day, it's becoming increasingly easier to relate to his precious roommate. That's something he will always treasure and appreciate. Indeed, no one should have to be trapped and thrown to a fate they didn't choose. That's why he's always been fighting, in order to change his destiny and form it into something more meaningful... ]

Please teach me.

[ And so, he says it with the most sincere tone he could. His eyes stare, determined. He wants to learn about Jae-ha's skies, too. ]

[ He takes a moment to return that glance, and though it may seem a bit comical that they're having this conversation while immersed in tubs of milk, he's completely serious. He nods, giving him a small smile. ]
