Who: The Sword House and Friends! (Basically if you know any of the swords or Gilbert then you were invited)
When: A little before Christmas~
Where: The Sword House! (Jirou's place of residence)
What: Jirou learned about Christmas and now he wants to share that information with everyone! So all friends of the swords and Gilbert are invited!
Rating: PG (BE GOOD EVERYONE THERE ARE CHILDREN. No not really. The swords are all older than you.)

After finding out about this Christmas thing Jiroutachi had made sure that he got straight to work on a party for it. His main motivation being that Christmas involved alcohol. This surprised no one but what was surprising was that he'd bothered to help the other with decorations and such to make the house look festive. So now there were decorations everywhere with warm food for guests and a variety of drinks as well.

For those willing to go outside, there was a lovely fire setup to allow people to enjoy the lovely gardens while still staying warm. Jirou had even made sure that there was warmed wine for people to drink! (Or hot chocolate. Though that had likely not been his idea.)

So now all friends were invited to come and celebrate with them! To join the wonder of this Christmas thing!

[Gilbert's not aware that he's being watched...yet. At least not until Naki is pretty close—then he jumps up and almost drops the tray with the cookies that are meant to go to the oven.]

Sorry, you need to wait a while. [But don't worry, he has an idea how to kill some time together!] But you can help me out if you want?

[but what if he doesn't wanna wait.....no just kidding, he knows food takes time to cook, he's not that impatient. that invitation to help gets his attention too, and though there isn't much of a noticeable shift in his facial expression he still somehow manages to perk up a bit.]

[he's ready to help! for a tasty cookie-filled future!]

[In a while, after putting the cookies he already had into the oven, Gilbert has some dough rolled out again so Naki could press the cookie cutters down and make shapes.]

Just pick one you like the most and go ahead.

[Actually, that way it shouldn't take them too long to make them and they could go back to everyone soon. That's why Gilbert starts rolling out another chunk of dough almost immediately.]

[the one he likes the most...is the katana cookie cutter, of course. one katana, two katana, three katanaaaand gilbert's making more!

he punches out another katana as he watched the man roll out his dough, then...switches to a reindeer-shaped cutter.

silently making a couple more......]

....Which one do you like? [the most, he means.]

[The question makes him look up at Naki and then at the cutters. Actually, he hasn't been paying much attention to the shapes, maybe save for the katana ones as he thought that everyone may like them.]

I like sword ones the most, actually...

[a sword-lover! he perks up a bit at that, nodding in approval before turning to switch back to the sword cutter.

Are swords the same?...where you're from.

[his knowledge of the world outside japan extends to...this place, basically. maybe they've got different swords in gilbertland! maybe the spirits there would have names like...gilbert!

[Gilbertland was pretty bizarre at times, but his friend who had a sword never mentioned anything about sword spirits or anything of the sorts. He was a man of many secrets, but Gilbert would probably notice something weird.

I suppose it's a phenomenon that only occurs in your country. Honestly speaking, if I didn't know you are a sword, I would never have guessed. I mean...you all are so human.

naki looks down at his hands, then farther down to his side, where a sword might have rested if he had one. would he be more recognizable as a sword if his sword body were still here?

Isn't saniwa simply someone's master?

[How does this world work? Will he ever leave? Will his master come here instead? They still have work to do back there, though. He's still loyal to that far-off figure, regardless of the situation, but...it's difficult.

Pinches his cheeks (if the mask's on, he's going for whatever spot he can pinch on his face...sorry, Naki). Not only that, but he's also stretching and squishing them.]

Wrong answer. You have to believe that you will meet, one day. I'll ask again.

[naki does in fact not have his mask on today, so he's got no defense against the pinching...he makes a surprised noise, even!

still, regardless of his age or his feelings on this subject, gilbert's words are still somehow comforting. it's nice to know he's got support, even if he's not entirely sure what he's being supported on (his feelings are still a mystery he's working on unraveling). so he relaxes, after a moment - a relaxation that even spreads to his face, though the very tiny smile doesn't look much different from his usual expressionless mouth - and nods. it's a good party.]
