When you teach a sword about Christmas...
Who: The Sword House and Friends! (Basically if you know any of the swords or Gilbert then you were invited)
When: A little before Christmas~
Where: The Sword House! (Jirou's place of residence)
What: Jirou learned about Christmas and now he wants to share that information with everyone! So all friends of the swords and Gilbert are invited!
Rating: PG (BE GOOD EVERYONE THERE ARE CHILDREN. No not really. The swords are all older than you.)
After finding out about this Christmas thing Jiroutachi had made sure that he got straight to work on a party for it. His main motivation being that Christmas involved alcohol. This surprised no one but what was surprising was that he'd bothered to help the other with decorations and such to make the house look festive. So now there were decorations everywhere with warm food for guests and a variety of drinks as well.
For those willing to go outside, there was a lovely fire setup to allow people to enjoy the lovely gardens while still staying warm. Jirou had even made sure that there was warmed wine for people to drink! (Or hot chocolate. Though that had likely not been his idea.)
So now all friends were invited to come and celebrate with them! To join the wonder of this Christmas thing!
[ooc: Feel free to tag around with each other or even have private threads. If you have met Jiroutachi, Kousetsu, Shinano, Nakigitsune, or Gilbert Nightray then you are automatically invited. If you want to say you slipped in without an invite that's cool too. If you want to be a friend of a guest then the more the merrier. Just go spread around and have fun!]

Jiroutachi | OTA
Ah well!
So there was the beautiful oodachi with two cups of sake in hand, holding one out to the next person he happened to come across. "Sake?"
One could refuse it of course. He was more than happy to double fist his drinks.

A short pause.
"Thank you."
(He's working on it.)
no subject
"Naki-chan, are you having fun? You're here by yourself! You should come spend some time with Jirou-san."
no subject
Were they gonna spend time drinking...should he try a sip of this sake....should he go on a search for inari sushi! Questions.
no subject
He really should pay more attention to these things. Really he'd been so interested in the alcohol he'd just let everything else slip by him. Whoops! Not that anyone was surprised by this given Jiroutachi's very nature but was that really the point? No, no it wasn't.
"How does that sound?"
no subject
....Around this point his fox probably would have suggested a direction for them to look, or at the very least voiced out loud that nod...maybe eventually he'd get his carrier to start talking for him. Instead, another sip!
no subject
Because if that was the case he wanted to make sure that he tried some of it. Or several of it. Really Jirou was likely to just keep on eating since snacks were always great to have when one was drunk. Which he always was.
no subject
"...Do you want one?"
no subject
He looked so thrilled by that before he bit down and then wiggled about happily. "So good, Naki-chan!"
no subject
"I'm glad...you like it." as he finally (carefully) nibbled his fox.
no subject
Really he was not the oldest of the swords here at all. Honestly he only looked older than the smaller swords because he was bigger than them. All the same this didn't stop him from wanting to take care of them and see that they were happy. His little Naki wasn't the most vocal but he could still communicate that something made him happy. In this case, compliments about his hard work!
"What else did you help make?"
no subject
"Inari sushi."
Of course.
no subject
Bursting out with some giggles, he wrapped his arms around Nakigitsune and pulled him close for a tight hug. Really how could this sword be this adorable? Just what was he going to do with him? "I want to try some of your inari sushi!"

Rory folded his arms and said curtly, "You know I don't drink that shit."
no subject
And he actually downed the second cup in his hand before wandering off towards where all the drinks were inside. Somewhere along the way he even finished that second cup before coming back with tea and hot chocolate so that way Rory could pick which one he wanted.
"Here you go! No alcohol!"
Apologies for the delay!
Yet Jiroutachi was already gone. Rory sighed, his breath misting in the cold air. Of course, he could not blame him; he never told his supposed 'friend' that he hated drinking and eating anything. When he came back, Rory stared down at both the cups as if they were poison. The steam coming from them looked inviting, yet he knew drinking either would be torture.
"No, thanks," he said brusquely said. "I'm not thirsty." He took another look at the hot chocolate; he could smell it from here. "Why don't you try putting some bourbon in there?"
That's okay! I was busy too!
"And that would taste good?"
no subject
Rory shook his head before he gestured to the house.
"Try it. I'm sure you have some." And everything else remotely alcoholic, he thought.
Usually he would be more reserved about suggesting alcohol to an obvious alcoholic, but it was the holidays, or some version of it. This was about the only appropriate time to indulge. Besides, the more time Jiroutachi spent inside the house, the more time Rory could observe the garden without interruption.

He hummed a bit then finally came to the perfect conclusion. Reaching into his sleeve, he pulled out a bottle. Opening it up, he poured a clear liquid into the cocoa then had a sip. "Mmmm! This will work just fine for now! See, I can spend some more time with you. How do you like our garden?"
...And once again, apologies. This should be the end of the havoc.
He wrapped his arms around himself. His plan failed, which was not surprising in the least. Why Jiroutachi bothered at all was beyond him. The man must want something, perhaps more beer.
"It's alive," he replied guardedly. "More than I can say about others. Who keeps it?"
no subject
"Gi-chan. When I was looking for places I thought that being able to take care of a garden would make him happy." There was a fondness in his tone that spoke of his feelings for the other. That was definitely a person who had wormed his way into his heart.
"It is really pretty."
no subject
"Gi-chan," he repeated, not familiar with this nickname. It took him a moment, and then it took even longer to digest fully the tone behind it. That screw-up and this idiot were...
Rory scoffed and he shook his head. "You two really are fucking stupid."
no subject
"Why?"
He didn't even appear bothered over being called stupid. Nope! He was used to that honestly.
no subject
"Look around. Everyone's disappearing left and right. When they do, they forget everything here. Including love," he said that last word with disgust. "It's stupid to set yourself up on something that can be gone the next day."
no subject
He hummed softly then looked at his drink. "And I think it's nice to not be viewed as a sword by someone."
