My country has many cultural things that do not make sense in the modern day. However, I am--was--working on trying to change that.

I see! I can speak personally that Setsuna will like whatever you get him. It is not my place to speak, however he's lived a life where he didn't get many luxuries or...well, many things. [He got so happy receiving even boxer briefs?!]

He would definitely like something handmade. Do not worry about it, you can experiment as much as you like! Because he appreciates gifts with thought put into it. So be brave.
