The clover was found by her, then she dried and pressed it herself, putting it into the case. It's been made with warmth, and also as an apology for not being as open with him as she might like. She lets the case drop onto the sofa then shifts forward a little more. ]

[ It's a command, though she says it softly as she reaches out to carefully lean closer. It's probably a bit awkward, but she's too busy concentrating on trying to tie it into place to really consider that just yet. Even when it's set in place she corrects it against him, straightening it out. ]

[ Hopefully Vietnam doesn't walk in right now as that would be embarrassing, but she does lean just slightly to give him a very very light kiss on the cheek before pulling back. Either way, he can hide it under his shirt or whatever if he likes, she just hopes that the clover does give him some luck, especially when they have to go into another battle. ]

[ Sonia's rather close. Setsuna wonders what the princess is doing, but allows her because he wants to believe, in that heart that struggles to do more for others. She's yet to give him a reason for doubt, and he's confident that it will stay that way precisely because of that heart... And while she did hint about a secret he doesn't know yet, it's just as he said in the letter, it doesn't matter to him either way.

Part of accepting someone is to keep believing in them. They're comrades, after all. She asked him to stay by her side, and while he didn't necessarily say he would, he's already pledged to protect her. And so he will, as long as he can help it. He'll grant her the chance she desires... That strong desire to reach out to people. He'll be sure to, for her future as well.

Setsuna stays still as told, calm because of these thoughts. That is... until she places herself against his cheek. His eyes immediately reopen, and his cheeks are redder than ever before. Was that a gesture for mana? Something else? Still, he stays soundless as he tries to analyze the situation. Observing what's around his neck now, he quietly lifts a hand to touch the pendant, feeling his chest tighten at the realization that this is hand-made.

Sonia made this specifically for him. Why? What did he ever do to earn such respect? Setsuna even failed to cheer her up before, and caused her to worry as well. ]

[ He doesn't know what expectations she has of him, but... he can't deny, he's touched beyond words. And so he carefully tucks it within his clothes, wanting to protect it. He lightly bows his head to her right after. ]

[ All of her movements are slow and gentle at least, so she doesn't make him jump or flinch. Now that she's pulled away she carefully and quietly watches his face. The colour on his cheeks is endearing, along with how he takes a moment to look at the gift she made for him.

It's only when he bows his head that she moves again. This time, her hand gently rests on top of his head. ]

[ It's a soft touch before her hand falls away, moving to offer the box. ] When you do not wish to wear it, you may keep it in here.
