CARNIVAL PHANTASM
[Today, Carnival Phantasm has its doors open to the public. The fake sakura tree in the room seemed to be blooming through the power of some magic and the combination of sakura petals and glitter added to the festive atmosphere. Irisviel was quite serious when she meant for the place to have a party, fantastical feel. The smell of tea wafted through the air, the music played gently in the background and everything was set for Caissa's First Maid and Butler Cafe.
In the welcoming area would be the stations for Heaven's Feel and Independent Action that were set up for Gilgamesh's and Caren's businesses. A sign up sheet was also present on the wall for anyone interested for jobs at the cafe.
The proprietor herself was dressed in her maid outfit, flitting between the welcoming area, seating area and kitchen. She was also making sure that her platoon of maids and butlers were doing well and the customers were satisfied. If anyone was causing trouble, Irisviel would descend upon them and rain down the punishment of the heavens (in other words, throw them out or let Nobunaga get to them).
At the back of the cafe was a small stage. Whenever a substantial crowd of people had gathered during the festivities, Irisviel would step forward with a microphone and make a short speech addressing them all.
"Hello everyone, thank you for coming and supporting Carnival Phantasm! This wouldn't have been possible without the help of Caren and Gilgamesh, so please patronize Independent Action and Heaven's Feel as well. So please enjoy the food and drink, challenge your maids and butlers to a round of games or take a picture—I guarantee that Carnival Phantasm will take you away from the real world for a brief moment to somewhere fantastical! Kyu~~n. ♡"
And so the festivities would continue.]
INDEPENDENT ACTION
[Caren's station in the Carnival Phantasm may seem to be understated compared to the others. Instead of fancy glitter or anything similar, she's gone with an understated look. Crates have been placed around, and while some of them are clearly for atmosphere (they have rocks if anyone peeks inside) there are others that hold containers for tea, new tea pots, flasks, and various assorted items. What’s with those strange looking flowers...?
There is a tea station set up in front of the crates, with seating area around it. All tea samples are free! While they rotate throughout the day with other teas (Manatea and Enchantea being the most notable), there are the teas that are made for Carnival Phantasm and Heaven's Feel. Dirtea is made with Carnvial Phantasm in mind, which is a vanilla oolong that cleanses your heart and mind. Connectivitea was made for Heaven’s Feel, and is a black tea and chai blend, with cinnamon, cloves, and has golden glittery hearts that make the tea into a golden experience.]
HEAVEN'S FEEL
[Gilgamesh has gone all out for his station, suited to his ostentatious personality. He's cordoned off a section with golden streamers and designated it as a "speed dating" area, so those interested can fill out their own cards and get matched on the spot with their fellows! Tasty cakes and pastries are provided free of charge, and there are also a few representatives floating around to offer information about the business. Naturally, Gilgamesh is on call to assist with any and all needs, dressed in a stunning number of his own.
But it's not all romance! Anyone seeking friendships, business partners, and beneficial alliances are encouraged to make use of their services and sign up. Every so often Gilgamesh can be seen hosting fun games, too, such as musical chairs and trivia. Although much of the trivia curiously seems to be centered around Gilgamesh himself...
Gilgamesh is easily the most boisterous among the three, so if you're not doing anything, expect to get pulled over into his general sphere of influence.]
(( More info about the featured businesses can be found on their respective pages, as linked. Don't forget to fill out a card with Heaven's Feel while you're there! Just to clarify, this log takes place at Carnival Phantasm; all businesses are represented in the same area, so feel free to tag among the stations however you please! Get out there and mingle, guys!
As a final note, all business are also open to hiring! If you're interested in employment, just check out those pages and sign right up. ))

Um, hit.
[omfg]
Not me. I have a-- [He looks embarrassed.] -- you're gonna laugh. I have a blessing.
no subject
It is, though.
...Did he put all of his pieces on this side of the board? Is his boyfriend actually that ridiculous?!]
I10?
[It's a good thing he loves Sorey's ridiculousness. Sheesh.
Mikleo looks amused by that, but he isn't laughing.]
Wow. Then again, I suppose that fits you fairly well, and it does complement my secondary weapon's ability.
no subject
Hit.
[Y U P...]
I guess it does. Hopefully I'll learn how to give all sorts of helpful effects. Right now, though, I can't even get my sword to work...
no subject
J10.
[The seraph blinks at that.]
Really? [Mikleo takes a moment to think.] Although, now that you mention it, since your promotion Morgan seems to have...disliked you more than before.
[That's putting it mildly.]
no subject
I'm not sure that counts. Morgan just has it out for me, I think.
no subject
The seraph will delay his decision by talking about Morgan.]
True, but she's been snapping her beak at you in warning lately.
[He's been trying so hard to make her stop that, but progress is slow, if not nonexistent.
Ugh...he can't stall anymore, either. Mikleo just prays he's picked the correct column.]
I...9?
no subject
Maybe it's a side effect of my blessing? Or she's just jealous. Maybe you should give her more kisses.
And miss. [Finally.] E-10?
no subject
I wouldn't think a blessing would cause that. A curse, maybe, if you're having the same problem I have with charm magic.
[No comment on Morgan being jealous or giving her more kisses.]
Miss. I8?
no subject
[Oh jeez, that is way too close.]
Miss. [Barely.] H-7?
no subject
[Failing that, it just means Mikleo will be keeping a closer eye on Sorey during dungeons or in a battlefield.]
Hit.
no subject
[Sorey's so surprised that he actually got a hit in that he forgets it's still his turn.]
Whoa, really? [OH MAN HE'S STILL IN THE GAME LET'S GO.] Uhh, H-8!
no subject
Yes, really, and it's another hit. Question is, can you keep it up?
[He totally earned his taunting rights.]
no subject
I wanna share a milkshake with you...
[Those brief moments of quiet petulance are worth it, right?]
no subject
No. No, that's too cute. Ugh. Even if it's petulant. Mikleo glances around to make sure nobody's looking before reaching over to pat Sorey's hand. He's being very careful to avert his eyes from his partner's side of the board so that he doesn't see where his pieces are.]
I technically can't share when I'm on the job, but I can bring one out to you.
[Maybe sneak a sip or two of it.]
no subject
No, no, I mean, at the restaurant I told you about.
[He scritches at his cheek.]
You're basically winning, anyway. It's not technically throwing the game, right...?
no subject
Mikleo huffs a laugh.]
You could turn it around, though. Either way...sure. I wouldn't mind sharing one with you.
[More like he'd love to do that. Tsunderes, honestly.]
no subject
[He's sure Mikleo will win even if he tries, but he thinks maybe he should go down swinging just to give them both the satisfaction.]
Besides, your shift isn't over yet. We'll have to wait until after for dinner and dessert, so...
I guess, uh, H-9?
no subject
[Mikleo just hopes that his partner doesn't get into any trouble in the meantime.]
Hit.
no subject
[He huffs a bit. Mikleo just has no idea how hot he is, does he.]
H-10?
no subject
[He's teasing, at least. Truthfully, no, Mikleo has no clue. As many times as he's been hit on in this world, he really doesn't understand that, especially now that he's Queen rank.]
Miss. [Aw, yeah, time to resume the search!] I-7?
no subject
[He winces.]
Hit.
[Here it comes: his inevitable downfall.]
no subject
Well, my idea is that you put all your pieces at the bottom of the board. I6?
no subject
[GOD]
Hit. [Just finish him, tbh.]
no subject
Why would—[Oh. Oh. Oh. Now he gets it. He has to hide his face in his hands.]—Oh.
[Clearing his throat and ignoring the blush!!!]
I5.
no subject
You're beautiful, you know. [He's still clinging to that resolution to remind him every day if possible.]
And sunk. Now you're a winner, too.
