Diana | Zero Time Dilemma

Δ

[ Waking up in an unfamiliar place again is definitely not Diana's idea of a good time, and it takes her quite some time before she's able to work up the nerve to actually step outside and put on a uniform. The very first thing she does is check her wrist, but the fact that she doesn't have any sort of apparatus strapped to it is only marginally reassuring.

One might find it strange to wake up in an unfamiliar world, but rest assured that all will be explained in due time.

Right. That seems to be the trend, doesn't it? Maybe this explanation will be a bit less...complex. Still, the terminology isn't exactly the same, but the fact that the letter goes so far as to address those you will save with your presence...

History repeats itself, for better or for worse. At least this time she get to have a bedroom, and warm meals, presumably...

It doesn't make her any less nervous, though. The pigeon giving the tour reminds her that her blue bird went missing, but that hardly seems important in the grand scheme of things. And, of course, there's a formal apology to those she might just bump into, if she happens to be particularly lost in thought along the way-- ]

O-Oh, I'm so sorry! I didn't mean to--w-wait, oh no, my key...

[ Did she drop it somewhere? Oh, this day just keeps getting worse, some hero she's supposed to be-- ]

[ Okay, so it might not be her music box, but the plump little thing that rests on her shoulder is certainly a cutie! Maybe this won't be terrible after all? She'll have to find some kind of a cage for it, but right now, it seems content enough to nuzzle up close to Diana's head and sing at passerby. The world seems pretty beautiful here, actually; it looks like something out of a fairy-tale, complete with things like magic and all that, but, like...it's modern. It's pretty hard to explain it, but, it's a place she actually wouldn't mind exploring a little more? Maybe she's just being optimistic, but, everyone here seems friendly, and it actually seems pretty peaceful...she has a hard time remembering why she was so nervous to begin with, when everyone's been nothing but kind so far...

...Look, the gun is certainly a bit much, but it's not as though she intends to use it--

She gets a little bit startled by the odd television set making its announcement, but the man on the other end seems like he could be relatively trustworthy (I mean, he's not wearing a mask or talking about snails, so that's always a step in the right direction??), but it takes a while for her to get what he's saying, and when she processes it-- ]

A magic...school?

[ She can hardly even contain her excitement! She just has to go, there's no ifs, ands or buts about it! It sounds like something straight out of a storybook she read when she was a little girl...

Hopefully you won't be too bothered if she tries to flag you down, then, if you seem like you know what you're doing! ]

U-um, excuse me! I'm sorry, but, you wouldn't happen to know how to get to that platform, would you? I absolutely have to go!

[ She's so excited she can hardly contain herself, but as she flails her arms, she kind of forgets that she's holding a magical revolver, goodness, Diana, be careful with that thing-- ]

β

[ The school, of course, when she eventually gets there, is nothing short of lovely, though Friedgood...left a lot to be desired, to put it mildly; but by the time she reaches Pigeonsblood (an ominous name, hopefully misleading!!!), she forgets all about the trek! It's been forever since she actually went to classes and whatnot, since medical school was literally years ago, but the atmosphere here reminds her more of university, with how energetic everything is around here. The campus is beautiful, the students seem lively (if a little enthusiastic, goodness!!), and the classes...

Well, maybe signing up for one or two wouldn't hurt, right? Especially since she seems like a Bixbite girl at heart, judging from how hard they're trying to sell her on it. But which to choose...honestly, a lot of this magical stuff seems like gibberish to her, and she's struggling to settle on a solid schedule! Maybe you can offer a suggestion? ]

γ

[ While the games certainly seem cute, and a lot of fun to watch, it occurs to Diana that if she's going to be stuck in a place like this, she'll have to make some money somehow. Thankfully, she manages to find the bulletin board pretty easily, and...huh, mailing letters. She can do that, for sure! It might be a little hard to let people down gently, but, if there's one thing she'd like to think she's good at, it's being friendly! And she can definitely cheer people up if she needs to! ...At least, that's what she'd like to think...

...Maybe she'll actually get going, though, sometime after she stops fawning over her cute little delivery pig. It's so adorable, she can't help it--! ]

[ Wildcard option; hit me with whatever you'd like in Hall of Glory or in Grantebrycge, or on the way! ]
