( petrosian : end of delphine (july) )
By now he has gotten used to the monotonous work performed at the farm. He never was a farmer but it's nice to be out in the sunlight - although as is normal for Chloe, he wears long sleeves and long pants, despite the weather, it's not very pleasant to have cloth stinging to your skin in the wain and it's not pleasant to wear covering clothes in the beating sun - and while he does dislike being dirty, the work makes him sleep without dreams, and he does like that. He has stopped sleeping on the farm, escaping to a room at a hostel for the nights instead, so he doesn't have to share a room (or so he hoped, but apparently there's a lot of people looking to rent a room and they're filled up so people need to share sometimes, maybe you're one of them) but any work that he is set to at the farm he does without fail, somehow. They never used machinery or magic for farming back in Tudor, and he does remember some of what Harii spoke of, while discussing his (Harii's) business. The gluttonous businessman was the main provider of food during the war, after all, and he knew a lot about how it was produced.

( music room : nights )
He long since learned to wake up without a single sound, even when the nightmares felt so real that he might be torn apart by the ghost pain that he felt due to them.

It was so long ago now, and despite those that did him ill were long gone the memories would not leave him alone.

He strode through the Kings Hall, quickly, as if he were hoping to outrun the feelings. He knows why he's having them to such a degree - so real, so close - right now. It's like a punishment for escaping them for a full month.

If only this world had not torn him from his revenge. If only he could make that greedy kings descendant suffer as he had, then surely---surely he would feel better. Right? It was all that he could come up with.

He finds himself at the door to the music room, his feet having led him there on their own accord. But he did not mind.

His long loose was still a little tousled from a nightmare-fueled sleep and the shirt and trousers he wore were much simpler than what he usually wore. The sound of the heels of his shoes echoed in the empty corridor.

He reached out and picked up a violin, putting it to his chin as he made sure his hair would not get stuck. He put the bow to the strings and he played, the sounds of the melody - a melody from long ago that no one but the Knights of Seven Wings would remember - lonely and longing yet heated and a bit unfriendly wove its way out the open window, out the door slightly left open, as he had not noticed that it didn't entirely close.

Although at times, he also does sit by the piano.

As long as nobody is in there already, of course. He doesn't wish to disturb. (Or so he will say if anyone were to ask why he turned in the doorway.)

( the parlor : later in the days and early in the evenings )
A fire is crackling pleasantly despite it not actually being that cold. Chloe wasn't the one to lit it but does like the sound, it distracts from other things. It almost seems to be able to relax him so much that he doses off - until he forces himself awake and shakes his head to make the clouds go away. The lack of sleep lately, the nightmares that awaken him, are harrowing at his mind and makes it impossible for him to sleep well. He might pretend that it's his habit of not sleeping very much during the night is causing it, but that's a lie and he knows it, because he knows why the nightmares are back. Either way, perhaps the fire is a bit too soothing, since it even serves to distract him from the game of chess he's playing with himself, and the book about elemental magic that he's trying to read. He sighs to himself as he shakes his head once more. I really need another tiring job soon... Because maybe then he would be able to sleep without being rudely interrupted by the terrible fear. When he's trying to drink his tea his hands are shaking but at least he doesn't spill - either because he's a gentleman or because he's starting to get the hang of basic water magic, even when unfocused.

( roof : afternoon )
He really is prone to fall asleep lately. This time while he's brushing a friendly mount or other belonging to the Hall. At least the mounts doesn't seem all that bothered with the young executioner but they probably won't like that he's leaning against them if he stays asleep for long. It certainly is becoming a bother to him, he simply can't keep this up at this rate.

( other HoG locations : various hours )
The library seems to be another spot perfect for dozing off, as is is the dining hall, and so is, apparently, the courtyard, any moment he's not moving as he trains with his whip or some weapon (magical or not) or magic.
