[OPEN] Oops
Who: Jiroutachi and YOU
When: 8/2 and through the rest of the month...
Where: Various locations throughout Caissa
What: Jiroutachi is a Queen. That means things are bound to go haywire when it comes to his Charm abilities. Oops?
Rating: PG at most I'd think. No more than PG-13
Accidentally Charming NPC
Jiroutachi could often be found on his own. It wasn't that he was a loner type, far from that. Mostly he just didn't have many steady drinking companions here and he was actually missing his sword companions. As the only one left it was rather lonely despite the friends that he had still. Getting by without them was possible but he was starting to feel the weight of them being gone. In a way he supposed he didn't want anyone to notice that fact which led to him wandering about on his own and finding fun places to drink as he enjoyed the days.
So he'd used a little bit of his Charm magic to get some wine and then had gone off on his own. It really should have been left at that right? Well unfortunately, Jirou found himself with a little fan club following after him, love in their eyes as they trailed along. So far he hadn't been able to shake him so when he caught sight of a fellow Hero, he went over to hide behind them.
"Save meeeee! They love me so much!" This had to be extra comical if the sword who was over six feet tall ended up behind a fellow Hero much smaller.
Accidentally Charming PC
[ooc: Note that for this one you can decide for yourself how long the Charm lasts. But essentially your character will find that Jirou is super great and pretty and so on. He's attracting people to him so you can think of it like that! Just remember that he's not doing it on purpose! (Not that he'll feel bad about it but not the point.) If you're not comfortable having your PC charmed then the other option is for you!]
It was just another day. Another lovely day. At least it certainly seemed so when Jiroutachi had walked by with his lovely black hair that seemed to shine in the light. He was tall and muscular under that yukata but somehow seemed to have delicate features as well that could cause him to be mistaken for a woman. The gentle touch of makeup clearly did not help with that either and neither did the pretty hair ornaments that he wore in his long strands.
One could be sure that the scent of alcohol had never smelled better and it made the temptation to follow him stronger. Which was likely how you ended up here as he paused outside a shop to look inside before he turned to look and give a smile. What beautiful golden eyes he had...
"Hello! Are you following me?"
And he's spoken. What will you do now?

"Hello! Are you following me?"
And he's spoken. What will you do now?

Charm gone haywire. That was his problem right now. Jiroutachi laughed and ducked behind him some more as people whined and insisted that Rory move so that way the could have a better look at the beautiful man behind him.
"Save me!"
no subject
"What the fuck did you do to them?"
no subject
Then look on his face and eyes said that this was completely true. It was only for a second but one could see he really hadn't been trying to do this. Oh sure he did it sometimes on purpose but never to this scale and usually just to get something like a bit of alcohol for free. So this? This was completely not what he'd meant to do or even tried to do.
"I was walking and then it must have happened because suddenly they were wanting to love me!"
no subject
"Alright, back up. Not following you now."
Even caged, the only thought going through their minds was Jiroutachi. What could he do? Healing spells worked on those cursed during the Palamede attack; perhaps it would work here as well. This called for more than the simple healings he conjured as a Pawn. He rolled up his sleeves and the living sprig of agrimony travelled down from the hilt of his knife to wrap around his wrist. It immediately attracted bees, but he kept calm. As long as he did not make any sudden movements, they did not sting him. He muttered quietly and summoned a healing circle beneath the infatuated group.
no subject
Tilting his head, he watched the circle form and waited to see if it would work. Though he supposed he wouldn't see the full results of that until the barrier dropped so they could approach him.
no subject
More bees came. No one was afraid of them, right?
"How does everyone feel?"
no subject
"I had no idea Kings could do that! That was a King ability, yes?"
no subject
It used to be my ability, he thought bitterly.
"It is. We heal. Wounds, poisons..." he waved his hand to indicate that the list went on. He slowly pushed his sleeves back down, covering the agrimony. Little by little, the bees dispersed.
"Was that all of them?"
no subject
Jiroutachi watched the bees for a bit and tilted his head to the side somewhat.
"Are the bees a King thing too?"
no subject
Now that he no longer needed the large knife, he stored it away back on his belt.
"They're not. They're here for the flowers. Irritating shits."
At least he had experience with bees since his childhood. However, experience did not account for bad luck, which he had plenty of here. The last bee stung him on his hand. He grunted and held his hand.
"Fucking ass!"
The stinger was well in there, just his luck. He struggled to get a grasp on it.

Reaching out, he took his had then murmured a little spell that sounded oddly like a drinking song. Falling completely still, he concentrated hard, using his mana to grab the stinger and very carefully work it out of his hand.
When he had it, he smiled and let go to let it fall lightly into his own palm.
"There. That should be easier on you."
no subject
"I didn't ask for help," he snapped. "And stop grabbing me!"
no subject
That was what he'd observed anyway. It didn't bother him he'd just been picking up on it.
"What's wrong with someone wanting to be your friend?"
no subject
He rubbed his hand. Something as minor as this did not need a healing spell. He rolled his eyes at Jiroutachi's observation. It was not inaccurate, not completely. Yet this was not something he kept hidden. In fact, he had assumed it was blatantly obvious that he did not trust people.
"Why the hell do you want to be friends? We're not kids. This isn't school."
Not to mention it was still suspicious as hell that Jiroutachi would want to be friends with him. Rory had no delusions that he would have made for a desirable friend. There must be something more Jiroutachi wanted.
no subject
"What does friendship have to do with children or schools? Adults and people without education can want friendship as well."
He paused a moment again then thought about that. "Honestly I've never been a child or someone in school anyway."
no subject
"The hell does that mean?"
no subject
Jiroutachi was aware that he didn't look like a sword which was why the other part was necessary to explain. "In fact, that only came about recently so most of my memories come from being one of the longest swords in history."
Yes, he was actually speaking seriously for once.
no subject
For something that sounded ridiculously hard to believe, Rory seemed to take the news relatively well. After all, it was hardly the strangest thing that happened in his life at home, let alone his existence here. He shook his head and rubbed his hand over his face.
"Right. You're a sword. Of course." He did not reject the notion; rather, he accepted it in a defeated tone. "Okay, then let me fill you in here. Human to fucking whatever. Get a better friend."
no subject
He wondered how many really bothered to find out why Rory was rejecting them so hard. Perhaps he normally wouldn't have himself but he found himself curious. He liked Rory even if he barely knew him. The man was interesting and certainly didn't appear to be terrible as far as morality went.
no subject
Faced with such doubts, he responded the only way he knew how, with anger.
"What, you want me to say it out loud? Fine. I'm a dick! That what you want to hear?!"
no subject
"That's it? Then I don't see why we can't be friends."
no subject
He no longer had the energy to keep arguing. If he were a few years younger, perhaps he could go on. Now, he just felt tired. Anger did not work, so he used his next usual tactic, distance. He began walking away and waved dismissively behind him.
"You'll learn."
no subject
"Would you like to get something to eat? My treat!"
Uhh...congrats on the friends, Rory.
