He'd managed to hit quite a number of griffons himself, though he's gone the extra mile in nestling their bodies properly and making them comfortable while they sleep so they're not all strewn around looking like fodder for other larger predators. The same can't be said of his falcon who manages to fly into the path of one of the darts before plummeting to the ground with a rather miserable thud.
