What good is sitting alone in your room?

Who: Yukari

couldntpullthetrigger, any female CR of hers that wants to come, and any female CR of THEIRS that would've been invited for a night out. Like Six Steps To Kevin Costner, except only girls are involved.
When: Sometime Between July 2nd and 3rd(tm)
Where: La Coniglietta, Capablanca
What: Girl's night out at a club. Unfortunately, Yukari forgot to check what kind of club it is after she got a pass to a VIP exclusive room. OH WELL :D

[After the win at the Battle of Graupera, Yukari had found herself in possession of a pass and instructions on how to turn it in for what she had thought was just an exclusive hotspot of a club in Capablanca. Fortunately, it is indeed a hotspot of activity, men and women and somewhat less identifiable beings from all over gathering to try to get in past the burly bouncers and into the famous late-night club.

The pass got her entire group in easily enough, but upon walking in to the dim lights, the background music, preparing to set the stage for the show, and the...

... Well, just walking in the door gained a great view of a nearly-topless woman striding past with a notable bounce in her step, and Yukari felt the color drain from her face a little.

Oh god. What kind of club did she get invited to!?

The VIP room is on the second floor, sequestered off from the staircase by a lush, velvet curtain. There's a balcony that looks down onto the main floor and stage, with seats around tables, and they have their own, private couple of staff that wait hand and foot for their orders, and seem... well, particularly flirtatious. Likely because they want to get a good tip, but to be honest, personal space is not really a thing for long. They seem to like sitting on laps. It's terrible.]

OOC; y'all can treat it like a mingle, enjoy the 'shows', have fun, enjoy sexy wererabbits and anyone who isn't secure in their sexual orientation wondering why it's so flustering to have a rabbit girl shoving boobs in their face.

[She frowns slightly. Just saying "me" there would make perfect sense to her, but not...really anyone else.

How about...she let go of Maki for the moment, only to dive over the couch and onto the cushion next to the other girl. She lands on her back, with her feet and legs still mostly handing over the back of the couch and looking, frankly, ridiculous. And upside down.]

[ Maki can't help but stay on the same topic, but it's like expecting a vicious dog and getting... a cute happy puppy instead. It's just wrong. Better, but nonetheless too strange for Maki to suddenly let go. KAEDE THREW HER AT A TRAIN AFTER ALL. ]

E-Eh?

[ The suddenness of her little dive reminds her too much of something Rin would do back home, which is... well, familiar, even if Maki herself would never act so silly. But she does manage to, without even realizing it, even suppressing a laugh. ]

[And threatened to smack her ass as friendly encouragement!

Nyu wasn't oblivious to Maki's discomfort; even if she didn't know the precise reason why, she could certainly guess. Her other self was a bit...prickly.

[PULLING HER SHIRT BACK INTO PLACE see nothing there.]

No it's not!

[ That... Maki actually finds herself laughing at that. Whether it's Kaede or not, she still kinda looks like her, and aside from that her embarrassed reaction was just cute and funny in general, previously-angry and scary woman aside. ]

Yes it was. It was cute.

[ Maki covers her mouth as she laughs, shifting so that Nyu can sit up next to her, if she wants. Somewhere a new act on stage starts, from the sound of things. ]

Nyu!

[She makes an indignant, huffy squeak while still upside down, cheeks almost puffing out.

...but. Hearing someone laugh was nice. It made most of her fluster fade, like water out of open hands. She brightened further at the invitation to sit, curling and spinning around on the couch to right herself.

She was probably sitting too close to Maki, but she was otherwise behaving.]

You were quiet. Did you not like the last show?

[ It's familiar, this kind of interaction, enough to bring Maki out of her embarrassed shell, so that she doesn't have to worry so much and she can just be herself. She doesn't need to think about being in a weird place, or that Kaede might suddenly appear and yell at her or something...

She's used to being with friends who are ALL too excited to rub their faces on her and generally ignore personal space, so even that's not a problem.

Though she does cross her legs shifting a little in the seat. ]

Huh? You saw me? [ She hadn't expected that. ] Well, it was o-okay I guess. It's just... um... seeing someone naked is...

[ Okay and now she is started to get embarrassed, her face turning red. ]

[Nyu didn't...mind what was on display (basically everything), but she was also more comfortable around people she knew also being comfortable.

Maki wasn't. This required intervention!]

[Just gonna poke Maki's cheek, blush and all.

[ Surrounded by perverts everywhere. Maki's only safe space is next to Yukari apparently since the two of them could be embarrassed together. Though Maki's interest in the display is there, she just can't show it well. ]

I-I'm not!

[ She says too quickly, even so much that she realizes it and quickly turns away.

Only to get poked.

Once, then twice, fighting it not going to turn around, a third time... ]

Mouuuuuuu!! [ She bursts, letting out a pathetic plea for mercy. ] I-I'm not looking at them!

Nyu!

[That noise did startle her for a moment, enough so that she stopped prodding Maki's face. Her hand was still hanging in the air, even. But her smile returned quickly.]

You can look at me instead!

[nyu was helping!! ...sort of! At least she thought so!]

[ Maki is red as can be, matching her bright colored hair. But she's not mad, or at least any anger in her is about as scary as a kitten's.

Especially as she turns to look at the girl's smile, and can't help but look away a little in embarrassment at her own freak out. ]

W-Why would I do that?

[Nyu stayed sitting right where she was, hand still hovering in the air. She wasn't sure when to put it down. Her smile doesn't falter too much, but she does blink when Maki looks away.]

Because looking elsewhere was bothering you?

[Hm. What to do.

Maybe...covering Maki's eyes? Yes, she could do that! She reached over to hold her hand in front of the other girl's face, instead of poke at her more.]

Nyu! There!

That's because--

[ Well, because those ladies are naked. For the most part. Any other opinions are secondary. Not that she gets a chance to explain, not when she finds herself unable to see at all, with Nyu's hand over her eyes. ]

Now what are you doing?!

[ "Aren't those two girls cute?" Maki can hear the waitresses giggling and whispering and it's making her all kinds of worked up, which Nyu can probably tell from the shaking and increasingly hotter warmth beneath her hand. ]

What does it look like?

[The question is out of her mouth before Nyu really thought about what she was saying; realizing it only made her giggle, though.

And giggle some more when she heard the whispering, encouraged!

Except for one thing.]

[ Honestly, she can't see, so how could she? So long as Nyu leaves a little space between them though won't freak out too much. Because Maki wouldn't even want to think she might be doing if suddenly there was no space there...

Though the two waitresses might be making... certain encouraging motions with their hands where Maki can't see. ]

[Despite leaving her hand in place, Nyu does otherwise freeze and continue not moving.

She...saw what the waitresses were suggesting but that could wait. Nyu is confused!]

[She's going to continue being a statue until she knows it's okay not to be.

[ One waitress makes a little face with her hand. The one next to her does the same. Then they proceed to mash them together. The meaning, is likely obvious.

Maki however, does seem like she's hit critical levels of embarrassment beneath the other girl's hand, her cheeks red as could be. ]

Y-Yes! It's embarrassing!

Okay.

[And she pulls her hand away from Maki's eyes, sits up straight, and sits on her hands for good measure.

She wasn't sure why that bothered Maki so much, but the particulars didn't matter. Yuka had whapped her over the head enough when she misbehaved enough that even her more regressed self had gotten the message. And Nyu was better now!

So she sat, and smiled sheepishly at the waitresses. Maybe...maybe later! That seemed too far right now. Maybe...maybe later! When there was less risk of getting tomato-colored confetti on her.]

[ Maki waits for a few long moments after she feels the other girl remove her hand. She's waiting for the other shoe to drop, scared if she opens her eyes she will see something somehow more embarrassing. But then she opens one, then the other and sees...

Just Kaede. Or Nyu. Sitting there, smiling. Finally, letting her guard down again, Maki breathes out in a sigh of relief. ]

I-I don't really think that helped but...

[ Maki stares, even if Nyu looks over at the waitresses, who seem disappointed that they didn't get a show, but quickly head back to their work. ]

You were just trying to help, right?

Nyu! I was.

[She perked up a bit when Maki looked at her, still sitting resolutely on her hands. It was a little disheartening to hear that she hadn't, but...well, what was she expecting?]

Do you not like things touching you either?

[ Sighing, Maki crosses an arm under her chest, to twirl at her hair. ]

I didn't say that. I'm almost used to it with my friends back home. I'm just. Still very confused. I don't know you at all.

[Nyu kicks her feet a little, rocking slightly in place.]

My...other self doesn't like people touching her. I'm not her, right now. She's asleep.

[ It's all so strange, but then, so has so much of Maki's life since she came here. Closing her eyes for a moment, Maki decides something. ]

I believe you aren't Kaede-san, but that still means I don't know a lot about you. So we should start from the beginning right? I'm Maki Nishikino. It's nice to meet you, Nyu-san.

[ Apparently that was the problem? And so Maki reaches her hand out, so the other girl could take it. ]

[She brightens instantaneously, smile and posture and all. She stops swinging her feet and otherwise fidgeting, and also stops sitting on her hands.]

Nyu! That's a pretty name.

[There was no hesitation this time; she grabs onto that hand with both of hers with a delighted noise.

It was...really, really hard not to just tackle Maki in a hug with that encouraging touch, but she would resist! For now! Nyu'd just escaped one Makisplosion, she didn't want to risk another.]

[ Maki can't hide her smile, even if she's a little embarrassed that this is how it's going. It's definitely weird but.. so has SO much of what Maki's had to endure since coming here. And being weird and pushing away someone that wants to be a friend, who's intentions Maki feels like are pure, would be the worst thing she thinks she could do.

It's embarrassing having her hand grabbed so enthusiastically but this is going a lot better now. ]

You don't have to tell me now, but sometime I'd like to know how... you and Kaede are the same person. I-If that's okay.
