What good is sitting alone in your room?
Who: Yukari
couldntpullthetrigger, any female CR of hers that wants to come, and any female CR of THEIRS that would've been invited for a night out. Like Six Steps To Kevin Costner, except only girls are involved.
When: Sometime Between July 2nd and 3rd(tm)
Where: La Coniglietta, Capablanca
What: Girl's night out at a club. Unfortunately, Yukari forgot to check what kind of club it is after she got a pass to a VIP exclusive room. OH WELL :D
Rating: DD for boobs. It is a cabaret after all. (Will update if it gets beyond anything you can expect at an adult night establishment)
[After the win at the Battle of Graupera, Yukari had found herself in possession of a pass and instructions on how to turn it in for what she had thought was just an exclusive hotspot of a club in Capablanca. Fortunately, it is indeed a hotspot of activity, men and women and somewhat less identifiable beings from all over gathering to try to get in past the burly bouncers and into the famous late-night club.
The pass got her entire group in easily enough, but upon walking in to the dim lights, the background music, preparing to set the stage for the show, and the...
... Well, just walking in the door gained a great view of a nearly-topless woman striding past with a notable bounce in her step, and Yukari felt the color drain from her face a little.
Oh god. What kind of club did she get invited to!?
The VIP room is on the second floor, sequestered off from the staircase by a lush, velvet curtain. There's a balcony that looks down onto the main floor and stage, with seats around tables, and they have their own, private couple of staff that wait hand and foot for their orders, and seem... well, particularly flirtatious. Likely because they want to get a good tip, but to be honest, personal space is not really a thing for long. They seem to like sitting on laps. It's terrible.]
OOC; y'all can treat it like a mingle, enjoy the 'shows', have fun, enjoy sexy wererabbits and anyone who isn't secure in their sexual orientation wondering why it's so flustering to have a rabbit girl shoving boobs in their face.

"I was only uncomfortable because that waitress was hitting on me, I'm having a lot of fun." Yukari seemed to be out of her comfort zone. "It's okay, I don't judge. You were expecting something less... exposed?"
"Yeah, at home until the team got disbanded." Lola's not going to go into how that happened, "It was a great workout. And I made a lot of cool friends. I kinda miss them. Mostly Shay, but the rest of the squad too."
no subject
... It's very embarrassing, but maybe Yukari's the only one that's so affected by it. Well, maybe Maki, but they're both kin in tsundere like that. "T-that's cool. So like, a school club, then? The only thing I did at school was archery... we didn't have a cheerleading squad at our school."
no subject
Trying to gauge normal embarrassment from Lola is hard. There's no form of social media for her to live with this night forevermore, so she can be pretty relaxed. "It was. My school used to have an archery club, but that was before I was going there. Is that why you're so comfortable shooting at dragons, lots of practice?"
no subject
And then the conversation moves away from boobs, and onto something Yukari actually likes to talk about, so she nods. "Yeah. Well... something like that. I mean, I've never actually fought a dragon before, or even really anything that outright looks like one, but it's easy enough to figure out their weak spots. I don't think you said you had anything like that at your home?"

"Other than cheer and volleyball all my skills at home require the internet. It is very hard to take the perfect selfie when your camera is a pink rat that tries to eat your hair." Okay, that and getting boys to buy her pizza. But that was really more of her social media skills like quick typing speeds on touch screens and knowing how to filter a boob pic to make it especially entrancing.
Do not be like Lola, ever.

And she still is a badass with a bow.
"Huh. I guess that is a difference, but I wouldn't really wish this whole... having to know how to fight thing on anyone. You sound like you had a pretty nice, normal life back at home," Unlike Yukari, who had to deal with paranormal shit like the manifestation of the darker parts of people's psyches manifesting and running amok... and weird mega corporations trying to build doomsday devices.
Small differences.
She wanted to be a normal girl, once upon a time.
"There's some nice people on the volleyball team. If I had more time, I might've joined that," alas, she did not, but the female protag did.

"I like being able to jump around, and helping people. And magic is fun. But I miss my cantina, and my friends. And my hundreds of hastygram followers," Lola enjoyed being here, but she missed all the little normal things in life. Oddly her boyfriend didn't quite rank up with all of that. "But I do like it here, really, the dorms are filled with cute boys and co-ed baths. And cute girls, if that's your thing."
"Everyone on the cheer team for the workout joined the volleyball team. I did it because my best friend wanted me to." Lola didn't get to wear cute outfits on the volleyball team. Which was a shame, but she got to spend time with Shay and Frankie, so it was okay. "It's a great workout, with my friends, and no selling naked photos for money. Which apparently is illegal."
...Lola...

"It was bad enough when I had to move around as a kid, but now it's just like... I really didn't even get to prepare for it this time. It's hard making friends over again."
no subject
Lola hated working there at first, she hated how it cut into her free time. And how much work it was to undo the damage the kitchens did to her skin just walking through them. But now... that place was her life for years.
"I've never had to move before, or lose all of my friends. But... making friends is easy. You say 'hello' to start," Lola smiled, it was just a bit impish. Which is a fairly unusual look to her, that side of her doesn't make the surface too often. But the reasoning should be obvious. "Hello."
no subject
She's rather interested in the idea. She knows the heiress of a multi billion dollar company, a bunch of orphans, and then the average Joes at her high school whose parents are probably salarymen or office ladies at best.
Then again, she frowns at the 'hello'. She'll take it not as being made fun of, because this doesn't need to end poorly, and she's easily offended.
"That's not what I meant. I know plenty of people and hang out with 'em. The hello part ain't the hard part."
no subject
"Then... what's the hard part," Lola doesn't understand living in a way that doesn't make you boatloads of friends. Lola was always used to just meeting people, deciding what they were worth to her, and usually coming up with knowing them is good and deciding to be friends. They weren't best friends, or even good friends, but she could sit and talk to them if she had nobody else. "I've never had trouble with this."
no subject
... Well, now, here comes the tricky Catch-22 part: Talking about trust issues.
To someone she isn't sure she should talk about trust issues with.
"I mean... I have acquaintances. Tons of 'em. It's just... hard to get close enough to people to really call 'em friends."
no subject
Being kidnapped from her home to fight in a war does that.
"Oh," Lola wasn't sure how to go about fixing that. And the idea she can't help does visibly seem to bother her, friends are a good thing to have. Because Lola called everyone friends. But her scale of friendship was a lot looser. Generally if she friended you online she'd call you friend in person. "Is this why you took us to a stripclub? To make friends?"
no subject
Then again, Yukari is pretty sure people don't have the definition of of friendship she does She's fine at meeting people. It's the idea of trusting them enough... that's where it catches her. Not many people have given her a reason to trust them over the years. So she rather happily doesn't.
"... No," she sighs, and it's nearly a groan of frustration. Of course everyone is... "Don't get the wrong idea - I had no idea this was a... club like this. They don't exactly tell you up front. I thought it'd be more like... a regular nightclub. Where you can dance and hang out if you want to. Yanno, something slightly more acceptable to bring people you don't know well to?"
no subject
"Why the big gesture and not just... asking to hang out?"
no subject
To the second part... "But it wasn't really such a big gesture. I got the VIP pass for free, and why would I use it just for myself? It'd be easier to just get a group of people I know and use it that way... I wasn't really thinking that hard about it."
no subject
She guessed if someone just gave her tickets to a thing, she'd take whoever she was closest to. Unless she knew someone who would enjoy it more than her friends would. Lola knows Shay would pass on inviting her to any sort of sport thingie, in order to invite Frankie or Goldi who actually liked some sports. And here it wasn't limited, so bringing everyone is fun. "So... why did you only invite girls?"
no subject
... The second question garners a sigh.
"Ever heard of a girl's night out?" she shakes her head. "Plus, I don't trust some of the guys I know not to be idiots, and I'm really glad I didn't now, seeing what kind of place this is."
no subject
"Well, yeah, I guess..." Not that bringing boys to a topless bunny bar would do her any favors. As she'd have no luck keeping any guy's attention with such competition, but she was used to girls night was about either forgetting about boys or trying to meet boys. Or both, sometimes, that was possible!
no subject
And yes, taking a break from boys is at least 40% of what's going on here, because Yukari, while she's more or less forgiven her boyfriend for his little breach of trust, still thinks it's more fun to hang out with just the girls every so often. "Like I said, I didn't think this was this kinda bar. If it had been just a regular nightclub, this whole thing would be a whoooole lot less weird."
