[OPEN] The exact moment things went off the rails

Where: Somewhere along the tracks of the VIP train

[The job had seemed simple enough, 'just head out and look for some of the missing rail cars.' However, the battle had lasted for a while and the train was quite long--in the chaos several cars could have gone all over the place. With the wilderness around the area, it made finding everything a bit difficult.]
[After something like a whole lot of searching, though, there's a crater on the ground next to the tracks.]
[Ed's hand goes to his chin as he looks at it, then over towards the wilderness.]
Okay. I think maybe we should look around here this time.

...so... he has a history? What history was that?

Noir made the first move in this conflict, y'know? They attacked civilians and children during an art exposition at a place called Palamede. A princess from Noir-- Katya-- used magic to address everyone before the attacks commenced.
[grabs onto a sturdy, low-hanging branch and hoists himself up on top of the train car]
She seemed pretty obsessed with Verdoni-san. The Prime Minister made a lot of jokes about how Verdoni-san should go 'n marry her.
And then there are the rumors. . . rumors that Verdoni-san had a hand in the fall of Noir some 200 years ago.

...So... Verdoni might have been responsible for Noir losing, and also the princess likes him.
[Ed is digging through rubble on the other side of the train car.]
And he's 200 years old... because vampire, right?
