(closed) But some parties you just don't want to be a part of.
Who: Gaius (
convictionary), Koon (
deceptions), Bernard (
myfairlily)
When: Ambiguously Viola 14ish, give or take a day or two
Where: Ambiguously somewhere in Caissa
What: Lost item fetchquest for Koon, making Bernard's nickname canon.
Rating: Nothing exceptional. Rated S for Stupid.
[And that was when Gaius turned to Koon and said...]

[And that was when one of the monkeys he was poised to question swept by them carrying that one thing they were looking for! The sudden segue into a chase was...well, a sudden segue. However, the chase ended as abruptly as it started; the monkey was on top of a building. A rather large one.]

[Meanwhile, at a different time, in a different place, Gaius turned to Bernard (who he didn't know besides 'some guy with ears - surprisingly popular - who also seems to be pulled into this same shit he was in given the outfit') and then turned away.
Then turned back to him, having thought twice about it.] What I don't get is why all of the monkeys.

But Koon sees the wave (and less of the thumbs up, maybe that was a bad idea), and disappears around the corner to enter the building too. He doesn't quite stop until he's up against some boxes though, and only then will he be studying his surroundings.
Hm.
Well, there's the monkey at least. Koon takes a moment to gather himself (he'd never admit it, but it's sorta creepy in here), and starts following the sound of the noise.
He can only hope Gaius is doing the same. ]

It echoed creepily in the building as he crept as silently as a thief who was going to relieve a target of th- don't judge him. This is like the sort of story which ends with the punchline of 'and they all vanished mysteriously.' Then he realized something.
He realized that there was actually more than one monkey in this warehouse. He realized it because Monkey #2 threw something at him and the good news was that it also looked stolen (and, thus, worth something) and didn't hit him anywhere too important, but the bad news was that there's at least two monkeys in the warehouse.]
Cripes! [Ow.] Koon?
[The eep eep intensified.] There's another one.
