Water Waaaaaars!

A. Water fun!

[The nice thing about his casual attire is that he doesn't always wear makeup. A good thing since he's currently soaked from head to toe. Enough so that he has his yukata off his torso and tied around his waist. It shows off those muscles he usually keeps hidden away so nicely and has plenty of the citizens spending time with him. Either because he's pretty or because that smile of his is infectious.

And, while his water magic might not be as good as some people, it does appear his water magic is good enough to splash those around him! Which is why a nice spray of water flies toward the next Hero who passes by as Jiroutachi sits there with a grin on his face.

Nope. Not even going to hide the fact that he's the one who did it.]

B. A show!

[Again, Jirou's water magic isn't as strong as some but he is able to make his water bounce about in fun little patterns. So he has several jars filled with water around him as he sits in the middle and is bouncing streams from jar to jar and even splashing children nearby who get too close. They squeal with joy over the Hero playing with them and he laughs a bit with them while thanking any adult who comes along to give him alcohol in thanks for his work. There are advantages to being a shameless drunk, after all!

Spraying a little girl causes her to shriek with laughter before diving behind what looks to be her older brother who is trying to pretend he's too cool for this entire thing and is just there for her. Jirou notices and notices the nearby Hero. Giving a wink to the Hero, he then looks back at the boy and gasps softly.]

Oh no! The water is suddenly shy!

[He makes the water in the jar ripple but not come out. The boy leans forward with eyes wide.] The only cure is to clap your hands and smile!

[The children all join in quickly except for the boy.] Oh no! It's not working! We have to try harder! [The boy forgets how uncool this is and starts clapping his hands wildly and Jirou rewards him by making the water bounce out to splash him with causes the boy to blink then laugh. The sword smiles at him.] That's better!

[Jiroutachi has promised to be on his best behavior for this job and has even promised to allow Kasen to dress him for it. Apparently that's the only way he's going to be allowed to participate in this with him. It seems silly to him but if it makes his new...lover? boyfriend?...happy then he supposes it'll be fine. Besides, he doesn't really mind dressing up in other clothes. That can be a lot of fun!

So he knocks on Kasen's door before poking his head in.]

Kase-chaaaaan! I'm here! Are you ready to dress me?

-Kasen was over by a rack of various outfits, sorting them out still. There was also a full length mirror and privacy folds set up. The typical sort of thing one would expect from an affair like this.-

Come in, come in. I see you're excited.

You're going to dress me and do my hair! What isn't there to be excited about?

[He laughs a bit and comes inside to look at all the different clothes. All are definitely designed to suit someone tall like himself, that's for sure. Jirou runs his fingers over them to admire the feel of the cloth too.]

You must be too. Look at all these ideas!

Well you are quite the muse. Now... -Kasen took one of the outfits from the rack, a five-piece suit with jacket, vest, tie, shirt, and slacks all in Jirou's typical color range.-

You mean it's not just because you want your hands all over me repeatedly? [Don't mind him. He's just completely stripping down without a care. Can't put clothes on without taking off what he has first!]

A because how can I not?

[For Shunsui, it was a little of column A and a little of column B, but he didn't feel the need to share that. Instead, he simply held up the small bucket he'd managed to borrow from one of the marketplace vendors and shook his head. Which caused the hair that had come loose from his customary ponytail to poof around his face in disobedient little wisps. Not his fault that he had curly hair and that it was humid out! Or that he was utterly drenched, either. That he chalked up to the many children who had accosted him with waterguns!

Jiroutachi's little stream of water would have made things worse, had Shunsui not seen it coming. That was what raising the bucket was for, of course! When he caught the water, he walked right up to Jirou with a devilish grin and dumped it right onto his head.]

Think you're funny, do you? How about you help me out against these kids, handsome? They seem determined to make me even more soaked than you are!

[And while he hadn't yet removed his plain t-shirt, mainly to spare the children and their families the sight of his hairy chest, the kimono he'd managed to buy not long ago took up the same place around his waist as Jiroutachi's yukata had found on his.]

[What he could have done is dodge that. What he doesn't do is dodge it though. Instead he just laughs as the water is poured right onto him and he has to push his wet hair back from his face. Smiling, he looks over at the children who are giggling and hiding around corners to wait for the right moment to attack. Clever things aren't they. It's precious really.

Standing up, he steps out of his sandals and goes over to lean against the hairy man. Only to wink at the children when the man isn't looking. Apparently he's on Team Kid and hasn't informed Shunsui of this fact.]

Waaaaah! Wetter than me! I hope you can use at least a little water magic then! That's the only way we'll get them!

[Oh, had he dodged, Shunsui would have just kept refilling the bowl and chasing him until he succeeded. But he had to grin at the result of his handiwork...taking the time to turn that grin ever so briefly toward the children.

Shunsui was on Team Kid too, but then again, he pretty much always was no matter the situation. It wasn't just Yachiru who'd stolen the koi from the Kuchiki gardens and relocated them to the Ugendou, after all.

But! Now there was a very sodden Jirou leaning against him! Shunsui put an affectionate arm around his shoulders and laughed.]

Ahhh, but who needs water magic when I have you to help me?

I'm not much help!

[Which he proves by using his mana to knock over a bucket above them so it splashes on both of them since Shunsui is currently having to deal with a wet Jirou! Sure it means he gets wet again too but it also means he might get the bucket to land on the man's head!

Much to the applause and laughter of the children. Clearly they approve of his antics.]

[ Well. He's not too upset that he has to make his way through the area that's not banning water wars as long as he does not get splashed, and not only because he does not want to get wet.

But he does enjoy a show as much as anyone, and he covers a chuckle behind a gloved hand. He stays a little bit away though, so he's out of immediate reach of the water. ]

I see that teamwork pays off sometimes.

[He looks over at the pretty face. Like his own there is something quite feminine and pretty about it. One could easily have trouble figuring out the gender of this person like people do with himself. Well it is nice to see someone else like that here!]

It does! Do you want to give this a try too?

[He waves his hands over the pots to offer the chance to have fun with the water.]

[ If Chloe were to be called pretty or feminine, things might not end well, he's very self-conscious about his appearance. But he can't read thoughts so he doesn't know what this stranger is thinking. If he could he would not give him the polite and calm smile that he gives him. ]

I am afraid that I have little to no experience in it, so I am not sure if I should pass on your offer or not.

Well I'd say give it a try. If nothing else it could really help you out. Not nearly so fun an idea but some like practical things!

[Jirou isn't really the most practical of people so he's not one to focus on that part so much. Besides...]

Or you could practice so you have your very own water gun to water around with.

[ Not the most heroic thing that he could have yelled as he is sprayed with water. Thunderland vaguely understands the idea behind the "job." It's like how he has asked Lord Light to sing -- boost the spirits of everyone. And while he is overanalyzing all of this information into the science and deeper meaning behind it -- he is missing "the fun." And that is why it is probably best that he got hit with water as he did.

His pompadour hair flattens under the water as he looks to see who did it before seeing it's a young man wearing a dress. ] You got me. [ He has the tone of someone who is going to give up and let himself just end up being drenched until he finds a "safe zone." But there is a brief pause before he takes out one of those squirt-guns out of the pocket of his uniform to attempt to launch a surprise attack! ]

Wah! [He doesn't do much to defend himself aside from putting his hands up to sort of block his face. It's a pathetic attempt to say the least. Jiroutachi obviously has no problem with being drenched more so than he already is. It's why his yukata is around his waist to begin with!

Hair all flopped all over the place, he pushes it back from his face with a giggle.] You're a sneaky one! That was clever!

[He stands up and wrings his hair out a little bit.] I need to get better at water magic to be able to stand up to people with water guns!

The art of combat is to be able to surprise the enemy and find its weak points. [ there is a moment when there is an aura of seriousness around him. but he immediately rests his hand on the back of his wet neck, his head bows as he looks embarrassed. ] At least, I think so... I'm still learning and even if this is not serious... I got a little carried away there...

[ his eye darts to the side before he attempts to do a dramatic spin of the gun. it flies out of his hand and hits the ground somewhere behind him. ] Yes, well. You should attempt to work better at that since you appear to already be drenched. [ he turns to look over his shoulder to see how far the gun fell and where it skidded off to after hitting the ground. ]

Oh this? This is because I told a cute girl that she could pour a bucket on me if she got me a drink of alcohol! [That's...not even a joke. This is literally what happened. He allowed someone to drench him just for the alcohol that he's so been wanting! (That he always wants. Let's be real here.)]

It feel pretty nice though so I don't mind! [Pushing his long hair back behind him again, he gives the man a big smile.] Ah but I don't think you should do tricks with real guns by the way. That looked like something a drunk like me would do.

[Seeing Jirou surrounded by laughing children is...he doesn't know what to think of it, really. As of late, he's not really sure what to think of him at all, truth to be told. It's easy to think of him as a carefree drunk, but it seems that's not all when it comes to Jirou? However, it's still a long way before Gilbert figures it out.

During the little show of his, Gil watches them from afar, but he can hear the children asking adults for alcohol for the Hero just fine, which only makes him sigh softly.

When the children start laughing again (the boy included), he finally steps in closer.]

Does that mean you're practicing in your free time?

[Even if it's probably not a spell that Jirou could use in combat, it's still quite spectacular.]

Hm? I practice a lot!

[He smiles brightly up at him as the children go off to watch another show, leaving him room to talk with his cute little roomie. Jirou even gives him a cute tilt of his head.]

Magic isn't my strongest one but I can do fun things like this at least! I've actually discovered I'm better at other magics. Though, that might be because of my promotion. I'm not sure how that works.

[He only sort of listens to it all. Just enough to get the bare minimum information so he doesn't hurt himself or others.]

The only thing you do a lot is drinking.

[While saying that, he turns his gaze to the bottles of alcohol Jirou has gathered. But he sits down beside Jirou nonetheless.]

I get it, magic is quite difficult, after all.

[He's not too successful on this particular field, but he sure is trying to master some spells.]

Thanks to your shenanigans I learned how to cast a fire spell which I thought was too difficult for me.

[They should both know what Gilbert meant by "shenanigans". He even puts extra emphasis on it.]

It even helped in the dungeon.

[If setting your teammates hair and boots could be called help, at least.]

Congratulations on your promotion...I-I guess we should celebrate it.

[While Shinoa has no water magic, she has..... guns?

Water guns, to be specific, loaned from the many Cassian townspeople looking for festival participants.

Oh, and battle instincts. The spray of water catches her notice and she jumps out of the way, smirking. Shinoa's in casual attire too today- a tan coat over her clothes, the usual uniform skirt switched out for pants. She also doesn't make any effort to greet her roommate, who's totally guilty. Unlike Gil-chan -who has a knack of not realizing these things- Shinoa immediately aims her own gun and fires back.]

Waaaah! I'm being attacked! [He laughs and throws up his hands to block his face. It's all in good fun really so he has no reason to be upset here! Well that and he is the one who attacked first. You know, minor detail!

When the attack ends, he lifts his hands in surrender.]

I give up! I give up!

What?

[She pauses, relaxing from her battle stance. Clearly she's surprised by this- and after the surprise, at least a bit disappointed.]

You're surrendering already? No fun!!

[She squirts at him again, pouting.]

[Akito's a teenager, but he's drawn in none-the-less by the show because really. Water show~ He grins as he sits nearby, watching and clapping with the others when prompted to.

Seeing the boy getting splashed and joining in despite the uncool makes him laugh and clap his hands together, delighted by it] You're good at this~ [He's only just learning how to use magic without accidentally losing control of it himself, so the show is impressive! And also really fun]

[He moves the water around and bounces right over to... Splash on the boy's head! Because clearly this cute boy needs to join in on the fun with the rest of the children here!]
