[ How many times has it been now? Someone yelling at him like this. Although Setsuna is aware that he perhaps could word through situations better, he finds it unnecessary. Why should he choose to word it in a more poetic manner when reality itself is far from one? Although difficult to swallow, it's ultimately better for everyone involved to simply look at the truth. The young Meister's expression never once shown a single ounce of emotion as always, and thus maintains that same distance he's always held since the beginning.

Gilgamesh too is someone full of contradictions. Although he says he's doing his best to honor Enkidu, the fact that his heart is elsewhere will not make that come true. He longs for someone lost long ago, instead of continuing to carry that that person taught him all along. Didn't that person teach him so many lessons about his despicable actions? Yet look at him now. Despite everything though, Setsuna says nothing. He's not the right person who should be saying anything about this. Because Gilgamesh is right... In the end, he's nothing but an outsider. He's nothing. He's always been nothing. An empty existence that holds nothing but weapons at his side.

Setsuna has always been trying to make that clear, only for the King to tear it apart as an attempt to bring him closer. And now he has, and yet here we have it, this idiotic royal is telling him that he's nothing but a pest. He can't even complete his own sentence. He really should punch this guy, but he won't. Because the young Meister knows that those are merely fronts. ]

Yes, I do not understand. I will never, as I am not you. Did you not teach me that?

[ He remains where he is for the meantime, neither sinking or straightening himself. He doesn't answer the parts about himself, as there's someone in this room that needs the focus rather than himself. ]

There is something else that you have told me as well. Do not tell me you have forgotten.

[ That Gilgamesh isn't sorry for himself despite Setsuna saying so, after he found out about that eternal war... That Gilgamesh will always continue to hold his head high, because he does hold pride no matter what he's become or what he's facing. So to be selfishly yelled at for losing his glory is only making this King more childish and weak. He shouldn't lose sight of himself, as that side of him isn't that really defines this person as "Gilgamesh."

Doing so will only make him forget everything that is important. ]

It is the same of what you ask of me and others. To always remember... Even though your glory remains in the past, it does not change that it existed. In fact, it has never once faded. It will always remain with you, no one can ever take that away, as long as you remember.
