[ Not knowing the circumstances of Adra's race, to Setsuna, this... It seems too sad. Happiness isn't important? Well, in a sense, that isn't wrong. If he admitted that it was, then that would be no different than rejecting himself. Him, who has never known happiness... Though he thinks of it, and knows that within him, he wishes that others wouldn't be the same.

He's fighting for a better future. Where people can know happiness. Where they don't have to become someone like him.

But he doesn't want to rub his ideals on someone else. If this is Adra's, then he will respect it. He must surely have his reasons. Reasons that he hopes to realize someday, but he will never press either. Though, there's at least one thing... ]


Would it not be better if we say, "life is about living on?"

[ It doesn't matter what someone becomes. If they're useful or not... To someone else, a particular person may be useless — but like memories, the value changes. Sometimes, there are people out there who are unfortunate from the beginning. But no matter how small, if they live their life to their fullest... Then surely, something precious will come about from them. And that's enough. ]
