CLOSED TO ALLELUJAH ♛ AROUND CAISSA

[This is something that Lapis has been looking forward to getting since... well, since she first arrived here really. A motorcycle was something she had back home, and is something she misses here - so now that she has the funds, today is the day she gets her hands on one!

Though since she didn't want to do this alone, she decided to bring along someone she can trust to pick out something good. A.k.a her roommate. Which is why they're both heading into the part of town that sells the bikes, Lapis looking rather pleased with herself. Or as pleased she can look with the lineface.]

... I wonder what kinds of bikes they have here.

OPEN ♛ HALL OF GLORY COURTYARD

[There's a rather loud racket outside the Halls today, mainly coming from the courtyard. It sounds like a swarm a loud, angry bees - but some people might recognize that annoying buzzing as the sound of a motor. A kind of loud and annoying one.

Investigating the cause of the noise will reveal one Lapis giving her motorcycle a test spin around the courtyard, eventually coming to a stop so that she can crouch down and have a look at it. She's at least tied her hair up, but hasn't apparently bothered with buying a helmet yet. Or any other equipment, she can get that later.

and she'll happily give anyone a ride if they ask nicely]

I'll admit, I'm curious too.

[ Walking alongside Lapis as they move through Caissa's streets, Allelujah can't help but wonder aloud also. Using animals for travel isn't a concept that's new to him, beyond the obvious difference in wildlife between here and home, but he's had scant few encounters with the vehicles here. Setsuna had his bike, but he's interested to see what else is available.

That he can help his roommate is also a considerable perk to the trip. ]

Did you find any information on where they're sold?

[While the idea of getting a mount was something that sounded interesting, Lapis still very much wanted to get a bike. If only because she missed having one. Especially after seeing Setsuna with his - she wants to zoom around like that too! So being able to finally get one makes her feel much more lighthearted than usual.

Plus having her roommate along is an extra bonus to a good day.]

... I found some. There should be an emporium somewhere close by that has a good selection, so we can start there first.

[ He notices as they move, the buildings give way from smaller, more compact marketside establishments to more spaced buildings. The roads widen, and the sky opens up overhead. Caissa really is a lovely place. ]

[That gets a nod from her, and she tilts her head for a moment as she thinks about the bike she had back home - remembering what it was like and how it looked.

Though her attention briefly turns to the change in the scenery as they moves, admiring how the sky opens overhead and how everything becomes less compact. It really is nice to see.

And in response to his comment, she gives Allelujah a soft smile, along with a faint nod.]

... Yep, I had a bike back home. So I would want something like that... Something compact and fast.
