What: There's a hot springs, so now there's a hot springs episode.

[Win or fail, everyone needed a reason and a way to relax. With the fall of the towers, there was all sorts of good things to come from it. Some would say it was the birds; and others would say it was the hot springs.

The large, large pools of heated water. Sure, they could be used as a way to get all steamed up (or even steam punk) but after all that hard work, everyone deserves a break!

Bring your swimsuits, your towels, your drinks and snacks-who knows, you should be able to find them in the bazaars, or even on Airy. It's time to soak in the heat!]

He quickly tries to prop Minato up so that he can get his lungs clear faster. ]

[ He hadn't realized that he'd fallen into the water. Rested on the edge of the hot spring? Yes, he remembers that, but the water is just so warm, so nice...

Well, it's not that surprising as it's not the first time he's done this. He seems to have good luck with people rescuing him, though. Now sitting up straight thanks to Lord Light, Minato takes in a few deep breaths, shaky at first, but better. ]

...Well rested? [ Minato, that's not the right answer. ]

[ Well, it's an answer. ]

You nearly drowned. Did something happen? Or did you just fall asleep?

[ He's looking Minato over now, tempted to Scan him. ]

[ It would be a better story if he had...you know, a story, huh? He was wrestling an alligator and slipped, hit his head, and went down. But...no. That's not what happened. ]

It's so nice and warm...I fell asleep.

[ Planned to sleep, actually. Just not...you know, submerge.

[ If Minato had said that, Lord Light would feel obliged to find the alligator and relocate it. ]

You should sleep in a bed, or a more secure place. Do you still feel like sleeping?

[ They can probably improvize some sort of mechanism, if Minato doesn't feel like walking. ]

[ That's a very sweet sentiment, really. Maybe he should go find a scapegoat alligator next time.

To be fair, though, he always feels like sleeping. ]

You don't ever take naps in the bath?

[ He's actually not sure what Lord Light does to relax at all. ]

[ Being a protag is such a tough life. ]

I do not. I rarely bathe unless necessary. My body repels dust.

[ The more he's done is wash his clothes, really. And as a person who doesn't sleep, the closest form of activity to relaxing is most likely reading. Or meditation. ]

[ It is truly such a burden. It's a good thing he's experienced.

He knows Lord Light has some special abilities, but... ]

But baths are for relaxation too.

[ He's...going to take that as a compliment, mostly because he doesn't think that Lord Light is capable of throwing shade, as it were. ]

[ That's enough to get a slight smile from him as well. Typical Minato, always concerned about food. ]

I have a question for you. What is your favourite flavour of jam?

[ No... particular reason. ]

[ Oh. This...this is a tough question. Tougher than most he's been asked, really. Minato takes a moment to think seriously on this.

Really, he looks like he's contemplating a battle strategy or the socio-economic implications of war... ]

...Strawberry. [ Boring, right? ] Or mango. Why?

[ That's not so boring. At least he did not say marmalade. ]

[ Well, that's true, but it's something he would prefer to keep in mind the next time he sends Minato food. ]

There are many different varieties here, made with fruits that are not native to my world. But it seems strawberry and mango are shared.

...I'd feel really bad for your world if it didn't have strawberries or mangoes. But they're expensive.

[ Indeed they are, but it is merely a regional issue. Items not native to a certain place are bound to be more expensive. ]

There exist are some fruits that I have not seen here. But it is merely a small mystery.

[ As opposed to the issue of why they are here in the first place, that is. ]
