[Open] It's getting hot in here

Who: Caren and anyone visiting the hot springs!
When: Post dungeon, could be right after fail/success, could be days after
Where: Hot Springs of course
What: There's a hot springs, so now there's a hot springs episode.
Rating: Could be a p-13 and beyond because some people are only wearing towels in this place.

[Win or fail, everyone needed a reason and a way to relax. With the fall of the towers, there was all sorts of good things to come from it. Some would say it was the birds; and others would say it was the hot springs.

The large, large pools of heated water. Sure, they could be used as a way to get all steamed up (or even steam punk) but after all that hard work, everyone deserves a break!

Bring your swimsuits, your towels, your drinks and snacks-who knows, you should be able to find them in the bazaars, or even on Airy. It's time to soak in the heat!]

Kind of? I think fish blow less bubbles though. [Actually...thinking on this...]

[ He's sure there are some fish that blow a lot of bubbles, but that's honestly not his area of expertise. The image is cute, though, and isn't that what matters? ]

...Fish can breathe underwater. Maybe not like a fish.

Maybe like a dolphin. They blow bubbles to play with, I think, but they can't breath underwater.

[ They are totally having this conversation. That seems to make Minato perk up pretty quickly, actually. ]

...I like dolphins.

[ That makes all this better. ]

They breathe through their blowhole, I think. It's on their head.

[Oh cool that makes this infinitely more awesome then. Making people happy rocks]

Dolphins are neat~ They're so clever.

[He nods, trying to remember what he knows of them] Yeah, that sounds right. So they can surface to breath without having to stop swimming or jump out of the water.

But they're cuter when they jump out of the water. [ A pause. ] Through hoops.

[ They do that, right? He's pretty sure they do that... ]

Like at shows and stuff? I've seen that sort of thing on TV before, they are cute when they perform. They really like showing off and making people happy.

[He hasn't seen it for himself, but TV makes everything better sometimes]

[ He nods. That's exactly what he meant. ]

Maybe we should find someone to jump through hoops.

[ For their amusement? Yes. ]

Hm. I'm not sure people could jump through hoops as well...though some might be able to with magic I guess.

[Considers this]

...I know someone who has, like, magical hands that can move stuff.

[ CLOSE ENOUGH? They need an adult. ]

Move the hoops to make it easier? Or move the people to help them out. It almost seems like cheating either way.

[And they can't have cheating now can they]

But what if it made the dolphins happy?

[ isn't that what's most important? ]

I suppose you could make allowances then...if it's to make someone happy, you can always cut corners a little.

[Making people and dolphins happy was pretty important!]

You should meet Unagi-kun.

[ He says as if this all somehow relates to dolphins? Maybe it does. Don't worry, there's a story behind it. One that his roommate should know. ]

He's my pet.

[ Not...his carrier, though. That's different. Akito has already met Shirosaba, his cat, by their living arrangement at least. ]

He's a fish.

[He's differentiates the two words enough to realise Minato doesn't mean his carrier. Akito doesn't usually call his own a pet after all, they're different after all!]

Oh, I didn't know you had a pet Minato-san. What kind of fish is he?

He's a carp.

[ Which, you think, something cute like a koi? Oh no. He's anything but tiny. Akito will have to meet him in person someday. ]

Setsuna-san was training me and he...helped. Kind of.

[He nods, curious. One day they will and it will be a thing]

How did he help? [Tell him the story, he wants to know]

[ It's...an interesting story, though Minato will unsurprisingly put it as simple and plain as one can. ]

I was running over the water and he let me stand on him.

[ ...More or less. ]

He must be pretty strong if he was able to take your weight, even for a little bit.

Yes. He is a god among fish.

[ He's just really fat, actually. But Minato is impressed with his eating abilities. ]

I think he'll become a Hero someday.

[Okay, even Akito has a limit to what he'll believe, and Minato might've just reached it]

I'm not sure fish can become Heroes, even if they're a god. He'd be unable to help for anything we had to do on land, or in the sky. [Thinking on that last dungeon]

Are you sure? What if he learns to fly.

[ Flap his little fins. Somehow that will carry his chubby body upwards, right? ]

That would be impressive. But if he could fly, would he be able to breath? Don't fish need to be in water?
