[Open] It's getting hot in here

Who: Caren and anyone visiting the hot springs!
When: Post dungeon, could be right after fail/success, could be days after
Where: Hot Springs of course
What: There's a hot springs, so now there's a hot springs episode.
Rating: Could be a p-13 and beyond because some people are only wearing towels in this place.

[Win or fail, everyone needed a reason and a way to relax. With the fall of the towers, there was all sorts of good things to come from it. Some would say it was the birds; and others would say it was the hot springs.

The large, large pools of heated water. Sure, they could be used as a way to get all steamed up (or even steam punk) but after all that hard work, everyone deserves a break!

Bring your swimsuits, your towels, your drinks and snacks-who knows, you should be able to find them in the bazaars, or even on Airy. It's time to soak in the heat!]

It is no fault of your own, that he has gone. [ —he says with a slow shake of his head, though he wears a smile to thank Bolin for the thought. ] Though... I do miss him.

[ And what a revelation that is. Surprising, even to the King himself, that the words had left his lips at all (but that is, perhaps, something which can be attributed to his present bit of company: it's rather difficult, isn't it, to be closed off with someone so candid). He misses Froaude, in the way one might always long to have someone kindred to themselves. Once upon a time, the man had vowed to shoulder his darkness so that the King himself could shine ever-brighter, but Froaude...

What Froaude hadn't known at the time was that Sion had carried the darkness with him all along, that it had been no true burden to him.

That foolish, awful, beautifully deplorable man...

Ah, he's being distant, isn't he? What's more, he's held onto poor Bolin's hand for much, much too long...! What had started off as a simple handshake had turned into a handhold, and Sion's smile is apologetic as he withdraws. ]

In any case, we've quite the bit of time to make up for, haven't we? Due to our late introduction, I would say that... [ Here, he is (once again!) rather present in the moment, voice lilting in play: ] ...we are behind by precisely one great adventure, two curfew defying excursions, and...!

[ HMMM... ]

I should like to know it, your favorite food.

[ Bolin just watches Sion's internal monologue with a helpless smile. He's not really bothered by the extended hand holding, because it's obviously not anything intimate, just a result of Sion having lost himself to his thoughts.

When the other man returns to their current situation, Bolin smiles at him, not bothered, and a little blown away by everything that Sion is suggesting. It’s not like the earthbender is going to turn down a good adventure though, and he wasn’t even aware that they had a curfew but he doesn’t mind breaking it!

He hasn’t really spent any time enjoying the nightlife of Caissa, and maybe he should partake in a little night on the town. ]

Sounds fun!

[ His legs comfortable in the water, the young man gently lowers the rest of his body into the spring as he hums, wondering what his answer should be. ]

There’s a noodle shop back in my hometown. [ He eventually decides, feeling particularly nostalgic. ] They make the best bowls I’ve ever had.

[ Sounds fun, Bolin declares with ease, buoyant in a way which sees Sion's smile transformed into something equally light, carefree as he cants his head, golden eyes keen with interest as the other man speaks. ]

Your hometown. [ —he echoes in a way which begets a request for Bolin to elaborate, for Sion is curious to know of all realms beyond Enprise and his own. ] Is it a peaceful place, the city which you hail from?

[ Sion hopes it is so, though he knows a great deal of the Heroes so summoned forth to Blanc are acquainted with warfare, their homes at one time a battleground. Still, the King does nothing mask his intrigue as he lifts his hands, clasping them together, his chin rested neatly atop a slender pillar formed by the meeting of his forefingers. ]

And what is it that makes a noodle bowl the best?

[ No, Sion has never before sampled such a cuisine...! ]

Not really. [ Bolin's honest answer, as he sinks into further into the water, gaze moving up as he thinks. ] It's the biggest city in the world, so there's a lot of gangs and crime. Plus there are a lot of world leaders that live there so there's assassination attempts and attacks. It's also independent of all of the Four Nations, so sometimes there's issues about whether or not the territory actually belongs to the city or to the Earth King.

[ But wait, there's more. ]

Plus, a couple years back my friend Korra opened the portals that connect the Human World and the Spirit World, so a bunch of spirits moved into the city, and it was kind of hard to figure out how to coexist with them.

[ Then his attention shifts back to Sion, an easy smile on his face. ]

But they definitely have the best noodles! They're soft and fresh, and the soup is always the right kind tangy and spicy. The service is really great too!
