[Open] It's getting hot in here
Who: Caren and anyone visiting the hot springs!
When: Post dungeon, could be right after fail/success, could be days after
Where: Hot Springs of course
What: There's a hot springs, so now there's a hot springs episode.
Rating: Could be a p-13 and beyond because some people are only wearing towels in this place.

[Win or fail, everyone needed a reason and a way to relax. With the fall of the towers, there was all sorts of good things to come from it. Some would say it was the birds; and others would say it was the hot springs.
The large, large pools of heated water. Sure, they could be used as a way to get all steamed up (or even steam punk) but after all that hard work, everyone deserves a break!
Bring your swimsuits, your towels, your drinks and snacks-who knows, you should be able to find them in the bazaars, or even on Airy. It's time to soak in the heat!]

So. Make a habit of stalking people in places like this, or was this just a lucky encounter, huh?
no subject
Yeah she'll be fine, she's had worse.]
I think you're thinking of someone else. This was a chance encounter, and I thought he wouldn't mind a dip.
[He, not you. She's still eyeing him and frowning.]
Who are you? He didn't mention you before. Or does he not know of your existence?
no subject
[ Hallelujah backs up to the edge of the pool, slicking his damp hair away from his face. His gold eye seems to blare all the brighter. ]
Think of me as his partner.
no subject
Caren takes a moment to fuss, making sure her towel is in place, her hair isn't blinding her, that sort of thing.]
Partner then. And do you have a name? Or do most people just die in blood curdling screams when they meet you?
no subject
Heh! No mincing for you, is there? [ Interesting. ] I'd call that a bonus, if I get the time.
[ Quick work versus playing with your food... it's a tough call. ]
It's Hallelujah.
no subject
[Another little shrug, but his answer is rewarded with a small smile. Blood thirsty, isn't he? Lovely.]
I can appreciate that. Choices, choices.
[His name almost makes her laugh.]
I like your name. Speaking of...do you know mine?
[She wants to know if he can, if the information is 'shared' from his partner. This was fascinating.]
no subject
Hey, now. I wouldn't say that! Only if you mean it.
[ Is he serious, is he just being a shit, it is a mystery — ]
Caren.
[ That answers that. ]
You bested Allelujah in a fight.
no subject
[Who's the one being a shit? Well, he's not alone in being that at least. Ahem.
But...that is interesting. Her smile grows a little more.]
I did. He might have been cautious, I might have been lucky. Who knows.
[She considers him. The way he suplexed her, quick and rough-well.]
It would have gone differently between us, perhaps. I don't know.
no subject
[ HE UNFORTUNATELY REMEMBERS EVERYTHING. Dropping his elbow to the embankment behind him, he tilts his head. ]
You mean if I stepped in?
no subject
Yes.
[She lifts her shoulders, and drops them.]
But then again...I don't know how skilled you are with a shield. Or hand to hand in general.
no subject
He makes a face. It's probably not very dignified. That's how he feels about the shield, despite the fact that he can and wouldn't hesitate to find the fastest way to murder someone with it, if prompted. ]
Unlike Allelujah, I don't hesitate! I'll do whatever I have to if it means winning a fight.
no subject
[Her voice seems almost fond. If Halle let's her, she would not only drift close to him, but gently...touch the side of his face, the side with the golden eye. So much like her own.]
What a delightful little murderer you are.
no subject
It's a little less shitty than having his brain rampaged through against his will, but the principle is the same. He's never been the logical one anyway. ]
Yeah, well. That's what the people who created us wanted. Too bad I forgot how to play nice, huh?
no subject
But she doesn't move. Instead, she offers him a slow smile of approval.]
Too bad for them. Not so bad for you.
no subject
A hell of a lot more entertaining to break the mold, that's for sure.
[ Hallelujah is the embodiment of the force necessary to fight what faces him down. Striking at fog is fruitless, so he doesn't waste the energy. ]
no subject
The fog vanished. It always did.]
Among other things.
[Her head tilts the other way.]
I like you. You're someone I can appreciate.
no subject
Appreciate, sure. And all it took was the casual intent to drown someone. You should be proud.
no subject
If that was what I meant to do, I would have hit his head before pushing him in. And walked away.
It would have been fun. Hearing the screams and the horror. Not with your partner but...just a floating corpse, ruining the party.
no subject
Wow, woman. You thought that through. Heat get to you? Or just all the festive cheer?
[ Here he thought murdering off a piece of Blanc's history was a pretty decent deal. Tianya was a prize. ]
no subject
What can I say? I'm in a good mood. Besides, there's murder, and there's murder.
[She shrugs, her smile lazy. Hey, nothing wrong with murdering a piece of history, but there's always a more...personal touch.]
no subject
As long as we're making distinctions. [ Palm skimming the water, he casts idly with the extra mana oh so kindly afforded to him — fire and sound, like he could boil it. ] Take it as a compliment, if I start watching my back around you.
no subject
[She smiles, her eyes lighting up. Oh look, Halle made a boom boom.]
I would be flattered. Touched even. Perhaps...another time, you would be willing to spar?
no subject
You wanna see a person at their worst? [ Read: most dangerous. ] Outgun them.
But sure, I'll play. I'm not as nice as Allelujah.
[ But he kind of gets the feeling she's alright with that. ]
no subject
[Her voice is light, even playful. She understands this, even looks forward to what's to come. She's not actually a battle nut per se but...this promises to be educational.
Good.]
But it's all right. So long as you don't kill me...well. I'm used to a little pain for my troubles.
no subject
[ To kill her, he'd need Allelujah to think of her as an enemy. Hallelujah keeps quiet, though, thinking she doesn't need to run her tongue over that little morsel of knowledge just yet. ]
Used to it, or go looking for it?
(no subject)
