[open] lookin' for the love getaway.

Who: Gilgamesh and everyone visiting Heaven's Feel!
When: 5/1—5/8
Where: Caissa, Heaven's Feel storefront
What: The grand opening of Heaven's Feel, Caissa's premier matchmaking service, has arrived! Stop by for food, drinks, and some friendly fun with your fellow Heroes! ...or maybe even pick up a date, who knows.
Rating: General audiences, except for Gil's threads because he was pretty much making out with everyone. Tread carefully.

Heaven's Feel

[Maybe you've heard, or maybe you haven't, but there's a new business in town. It's plastered everywhere, posted on the side of every building and shouted from the end of every street corner in Caissa. Heaven's Feel, Heaven's Feel, come fly with the angels at Heaven's Feel! Really, who writes something so cheesy? The owner must be a real piece of work, you think, yet there's something enticing about the sound of it...

If you do decide to stop by within the first week of May, you'll find a massive celebration awaiting you: the celebration of opening day! Eager workers wave down anyone who gets close, with offers of wine tasting, sweet treats, and even speed dating. The store's interior bustles with activity as visitors fill out cute little survey cards in hopes of a hook-up. The owner in question can be found mingling in the crowd, bartending, and drawing charcoal caricatures of couples for a nominal fee.

Overall, the atmosphere is one of excitement. Hop right in! There's plenty of room for lounging on the cushy furniture, and plenty of time to find your own hottie.

...or perfectly platonic friend. Look, we're not judging or anything.]

Politeness is one thing you could always expect from Potemkin. It helps that he's not even drunk; God knows what has entailed from giving a ton of civilians and Heroes alcohol.

"Then you should all congratulate yourselves for a successful group effort. I hope that your boss has been treating you the same." In the short time he knew him Gilgamesh already struck him as someone liable to hog.

Also a fair point, considering there are minors around. But since she's here, she'll make sure everyone is very well-behaved. Even Gilgamesh. As much as possible. Unfortunately, she's just one person in a sea of many. Potemkin, in this case, is a blessing.

"Oh, thank you!" She even pumps a tiny fist. "I am pretty sure he thought everything was going to go well, so his optimism definitely was encouraging." She says this, but really, Gilgamesh may have pushed the (unnamed) staff around quite a bit. He treats his Hero staff well! And Potemkin is 100% correct in his assumption. Beware the King of Heroes, a self-proclaimed tyrant.

Respectful, humble, and willing to friendly back and forth, he might be better-behaved than some of the people actually looking for dates.

Speaking of credit, "I'm afraid I didn't catch your name. I'm Potemkin of Zepp." He uses the epithet in place of a surname.

Thank the deities for that, that is for certain. She wouldn't mind making more friends! It was hard enough back home when all she did was work.

Immediately she straightens up after his introduction, and bows her head politely.

"It is nice to meet you, Potemkin of Zepp. My name is Vietnam." Or at least as a country. Which is already bizarre in itself, she really needs to learn to just use her human name.

He's named after a boat, and he knows her boss, Gilgamesh. Potemkin has simply accepted that most Heroes don't have average names.

"A pleasure to meet you."

He doesn't bow in turn, partly because he's not that familiar with the gesture, partly because he still feels no one here has truly warranted it.
