Heaven's Feel



[Maybe you've heard, or maybe you haven't, but there's a new business in town. It's plastered everywhere, posted on the side of every building and shouted from the end of every street corner in Caissa. Heaven's Feel, Heaven's Feel, come fly with the angels at Heaven's Feel! Really, who writes something so cheesy? The owner must be a real piece of work, you think, yet there's something enticing about the sound of it...

If you do decide to stop by within the first week of May, you'll find a massive celebration awaiting you: the celebration of opening day! Eager workers wave down anyone who gets close, with offers of wine tasting, sweet treats, and even speed dating. The store's interior bustles with activity as visitors fill out cute little survey cards in hopes of a hook-up. The owner in question can be found mingling in the crowd, bartending, and drawing charcoal caricatures of couples for a nominal fee.

Overall, the atmosphere is one of excitement. Hop right in! There's plenty of room for lounging on the cushy furniture, and plenty of time to find your own hottie.

[ A very slow, very small smile grows on Setsuna. He can never properly express how blessed he feels whenever someone manages to realize what he means, without him needing to say any more. Of course, his precious family is always among those who can easily recognize his muted feelings. He will always cherish their thoughts for him as well...

When Tieria squeezes his shoulder, Setsuna looks up as he directs his light smile towards the older Meister. He decides to move his hand out, placing the flower atop Tieria's chest pocket as physical evidence of his overwhelming gratefulness. After lowering his hand, he wonders. ]

[ It's strange, to see Setsuna smiles so often, even more so then when they were back home. It's little details like this in their life that make Tieria feels less trapped in this world that isn't theirs. A world where Setsuna could smile freely, Tieria would protect it.

The flower stands out in the red of his jacket, drawing a similar smile from Tieria. He looks up at the question and recalls his conversation with Gilgamesh. ]

It's still too soon for mine. [ After all, the answers that Tieria seeks are not easy to find. ] You swore to protect him. Why?

[ Setsuna has told Saji before, anyone can smile if there is a reason for it. Although he still barely smiles visibly, he's actually been holding back all this time. He's been smiling through his eyes or within his heart. Everyone here has been so kind to him... He's slowly been meeting more and more people who wants to learn to accept him for who he is, not for what he is. He's also been receiving a lot of support for his personal quest, having those who listen to him should he ever have questions.

But most of all, Setsuna knows that apart from these new relationships, he will always have the unbreakable support and love from his beloved family. That's what makes him want to smile, and will do so any day that he is reminded that they are here with him. They will always be. He quietly observes the elegant smile across Tieria's face, thinking to himself that it really suits his older brother to wear that lovely expression.

The next question though, causes a quick and curious blink from Setsuna. ]

Him?

[ From context, Tieria must be talking about Gilgamesh. Setsuna picks up on it especially after he processes the whole statement, realizing that perhaps this is the actually reason why Tieria is here right now. That's right, he hasn't gotten the chance to tell his family about Gilgamesh yet... He didn't know how to bring it up. ]

Ah... [ Before Setsuna answers, he decides to think it over carefully. Why did he? He knows the answer clearly, but how can he express it properly? ] He is, to me... Because I do not wish to see it happen again.

[ How many times has he witnessed his country set ablaze? How many times has he seen something as precious as his home to be destroyed before his eyes? Gilgamesh is the first King of his ancient origins. That alone ran through him meaningfully, though his desire to protect that person grew as time passes by... Even now, especially now. Gilgamesh has always been there for him, willing to hear his side out and eventually understood him; even though he didn't say anything to him at all...

Setsuna's eyes lower, a sad hint growing within them. He isn't sure if he can ever save that person. He wants to have his King recognize happiness. But the very least that he can do is to fight in order to protect him... Fight, just like how he would protect Princess Marina and his beloved world from home. ]

This time, I will not let him— [ —my country, ] fall.

[ This attachment, of course Tieria understands it. Especially now that Setsuna has confirmed his earlier suspicion. But there's something that bothers him and while Tieria is fairly sure that Setsuna at this point would never falter when duties call, this isn't a normal condition Tieria could overlook. ]

I understand and I will assist you where I can. But, you must remember that we are still bound by our duty and code. We can't change the pass, and this isn't home. What we do here would affect the people of Ensprise, therefore there can be no exception.

[ That's to say, if Gilgamesh proof to be someone unworthy of their protection, then Tieria will not hesitate to do what they must and he would expect Setsuna to do the same. ]

[ That's not to say that Tieria wouldn't protect who Setsuna chooses to. He's simply reminding Setsuna to never forget that contradictions has never fail in choosing difficult sides. When it comes to resolving it, Celestial Being must never falter. ]
