[open] lookin' for the love getaway.
Who: Gilgamesh and everyone visiting Heaven's Feel!
When: 5/1—5/8
Where: Caissa, Heaven's Feel storefront
What: The grand opening of Heaven's Feel, Caissa's premier matchmaking service, has arrived! Stop by for food, drinks, and some friendly fun with your fellow Heroes! ...or maybe even pick up a date, who knows.
Rating: General audiences, except for Gil's threads because he was pretty much making out with everyone. Tread carefully.
Heaven's Feel

[Maybe you've heard, or maybe you haven't, but there's a new business in town. It's plastered everywhere, posted on the side of every building and shouted from the end of every street corner in Caissa. Heaven's Feel, Heaven's Feel, come fly with the angels at Heaven's Feel! Really, who writes something so cheesy? The owner must be a real piece of work, you think, yet there's something enticing about the sound of it...
If you do decide to stop by within the first week of May, you'll find a massive celebration awaiting you: the celebration of opening day! Eager workers wave down anyone who gets close, with offers of wine tasting, sweet treats, and even speed dating. The store's interior bustles with activity as visitors fill out cute little survey cards in hopes of a hook-up. The owner in question can be found mingling in the crowd, bartending, and drawing charcoal caricatures of couples for a nominal fee.
Overall, the atmosphere is one of excitement. Hop right in! There's plenty of room for lounging on the cushy furniture, and plenty of time to find your own hottie.
...or perfectly platonic friend. Look, we're not judging or anything.]

His thoughts are interrupted by Adra all but crashing into him, and he instinctively reaches forward to grab the other person by the shoulders, to hold them steady.
He doesn't expect for it to be-- Adra? He leans down to get a better look at him, eyes wide. ]
Adrasteius? What's the matter? Did someone mess with you? [ He looks distressed and out-of-sorts, and it isn't just the usual embarrassment he'd chalk up to Adra finding himself in a place like this. ]
no subject
I'm fine.
[ He cringes at Jae-ha's hands on his shoulders; his heart palpitates. It's debilitating, this fear. Embarrassing, too. But he has no counter for it; no way to stop it. So he just breathes. ]
I'm perfectly fine. Just--need to go home.
no subject
What happened? [ He repeats, trying to scan him quickly for injuries, and only a bit relieved to find none. ]
Come on, let's get you home.
no subject
I'm an idiot, that's what happened.
[ No injuries. No external injuries, anyway. Some frosting on his lower lip still, though. ]
no subject
This may be the last thing you want, but do you want to talk about it?
[ If his suspicions are right, then poor Adra truly had the worst luck. He pauses, lowering his hands from the other's shoulders, fairly confident that he wouldn't run away into the night. ]
Also, may I? You've got a bit of--
[ He lifts his sleeve, points to his own lip, and moves slowly to help him. Adra can do it himself and swat him away, and Jae-ha wouldn't blame him. Dignity is probably very important right now. ]
no subject
[ He pauses, eyeing Jae-ha's sleeve, and then becomes suddenly aware of the smear still on his lip. Damn. He rubs at it, angrily. Out, out, damn spot. ]
--it's really ... really nothing, Jae-ha. I'm just overreacting.
[ He casts about for a change of subject as he starts walking, glad, at least, for the cool night air. ]
I hope you enjoyed yourself in there, though. Spent all day on that food. Couple of days, actually.
no subject
But Adra doesn't seem willing to share, and Jae-ha respects a man's need for privacy. Or for attempting to move on from whatever happened, or a combination of both. He follows closely behind, catching up to walk by Adra's side. ]
That was you? You made all of that? No way!
[ It's an abrupt change in subject, but that's fine. ]
no subject
Just me. Gil asked, and he's --
[ Adra's about to say 'a friend', but then he just goes tight-lipped, and shrugs. ]
Well, it was a favor, anyway. Turned out well, too, I think.
no subject
Oh? Is he a friend of yours? That was quite nice of you.
Honestly, I found the food so delicious I figured it had to be imbued with magic of some kind. Was it? [ Or was he just that good? ]
no subject
He's something.
[ Something undefinable, at this point. As for the food--he shakes his head. ]
No--I didn't enchant it. Maybe next time. But ...
[ His ears perk up slightly, because he remains, as ever, extremely vulnerable to compliments. Shyly: ]
But I'm glad you enjoyed it, Jae-ha. I never did find out exactly what your preferences were.
