[open] lookin' for the love getaway.

Who: Gilgamesh and everyone visiting Heaven's Feel!
When: 5/1—5/8
Where: Caissa, Heaven's Feel storefront
What: The grand opening of Heaven's Feel, Caissa's premier matchmaking service, has arrived! Stop by for food, drinks, and some friendly fun with your fellow Heroes! ...or maybe even pick up a date, who knows.
Rating: General audiences, except for Gil's threads because he was pretty much making out with everyone. Tread carefully.

Heaven's Feel

[Maybe you've heard, or maybe you haven't, but there's a new business in town. It's plastered everywhere, posted on the side of every building and shouted from the end of every street corner in Caissa. Heaven's Feel, Heaven's Feel, come fly with the angels at Heaven's Feel! Really, who writes something so cheesy? The owner must be a real piece of work, you think, yet there's something enticing about the sound of it...

If you do decide to stop by within the first week of May, you'll find a massive celebration awaiting you: the celebration of opening day! Eager workers wave down anyone who gets close, with offers of wine tasting, sweet treats, and even speed dating. The store's interior bustles with activity as visitors fill out cute little survey cards in hopes of a hook-up. The owner in question can be found mingling in the crowd, bartending, and drawing charcoal caricatures of couples for a nominal fee.

Overall, the atmosphere is one of excitement. Hop right in! There's plenty of room for lounging on the cushy furniture, and plenty of time to find your own hottie.

...or perfectly platonic friend. Look, we're not judging or anything.]

Good thing that his room mate (or one of them at least) had decided to attend. Caren had dressed up, but not like the man before her; instead, she wore an outfit of the local mode, as bought by Sion. (It was a wonder the man had any money, with the shopping he did).

Caren took a moment to push her hat back from her face, and offered him a polite nod. "Good day to you."

See, she's not always a monster. Sometimes she was even a polite little beast.

Oh, it's Caren! That, that, that girl! At this point Potemkin is really not sure what he feels or what he should feel at her appearance. She might be strange, but she seems to be in it for the fun as much as anyone else, so he greets her with friendliness.

"It's good to see you too. I take it that you know Gilgamesh too?

That weird girl that lived in his room in the hall of glory! Poor man, having to deal with this nonsense.

"Oh yes. I know him quite well." She took a moment to turn away, taking one of the offered wine glasses. "Better than he anticipated. I assume you got to know him through his announcements and other such activities?"

There's something pointed to those words. Sinister, almost. As with almost everything around Caren he tries to keep it to himself.

"I first met him Palamede. We were coworking volunteers during the reconstruction effort. That announcement he made for the opening of this business was unignorable." Really, not even Potemkin could plug his ears well enough to block that screech.

It only meant that Potemkin was observant, though it was rather mundane fact of hers. There was little sinister about the relationship. At least...not yet.

"So recently then? Before the benefit concert?"

She had to agree; Gilgamesh had been shrieking to the rooftops. She wouldn't be surprised if it was on a roof tops, even.

"Yes, just barely. The week of, I think." Potemkin had been exhausted from the hard work so his participation was limited to observing from the snack bar. He's starting to see a pattern of Gilgamesh belting out at the top of his lungs though.

"He was a very good volunteer. A lot couldn't have been done without him."

"Ah. Very close then." She made a quiet noise; she had met him with him close to that time as well. But maybe it was a good thing that Potemkin hadn't been close to the stage. He would have seen her be taken up on stage, used as a dancing prop, and kiss him on stage.

"But it's true. I can't fault him on the hard work he did-or on the benefit concert he arranged with the others. I don't know how much colle it made but...it was a nice gesture."

"There was also an entire block lined for demolition we were able to cover in a quarter of the projected time."

As for the songs themselves, Potemkin is not going to judge Gilgamesh and Zelos for taste. It was the thought that counts.

"Cover? As in clean or demolish?"

Either would work, really. And really, everyone pretty much knew that Gilgamesh had no taste. Zelos, however...she had no idea. She still hadn't spoken to him.

"The second. Our combined abilities turned out to be very harmonious."

Potemkin is so humble about his capacity for destruction, as usual. Gilgamesh had openly enjoyed it a lot more of course.

"I see. Gilgamesh would have...unique gifts for destruction?" She shrugged. "Though I am curious as to the methods both of you used. Spells or melee?"

She knew that Potemkin was capable of many things, including destruction. He did live in the destruction dorm, after all.
