[open] Probably not too bad.
Who: Gaius and various other people are doing supply runs! Yeah!
When: Ambiguously timed supply shit going on over, let's say, the past four days (so 4/10 to 4/14)!
Where: In the middle of nowhere!
What: There's supply transporting up the yin yang over here!
Rating: None, but it might end up raunchy for all I know! I don't know why I went with the exclamation points but it felt right!
A:
So, what do you think? [Muttered. In case the hero next to him didn't get what Gaius meant a head was inclined towards their employer, Constance, who was fluttering about like a Canadian goose: nasty, vicious, and loud.]
B:
[And that was when Gaius turned to the person next to him and asked:] So, you got any idea where we are?
[A dark wind was starting to howl, with the promise of weather that wasn't quite a storm, but it would still be unpleasant.]
C:
[There had been a dramatic fight between them and bandits which was very heroic and dramatic. It was so fucking badass. I mean, seriously. Everyone did all sorts of cool shit, even the bandits, and this would go on describing that wonder and glory but...look, it would just be intimidating if it did. Just believe in it being heroic.
...]
How much we getting paid, again?
D:
[As a dying on the inside looking Gaius tore into that custard he looked at whatever poor son of a bitch was his dessert partner.] How'd your day go?
[He's kind of dying on the inside right now.]

You've gotta be exaggerating. Buttering crumpets could hardly be considered "cooking." Even I can do that.
no subject
But credit where credit's due. She didn't want to be that way.
no subject
[sluuuuurp. he takes a giant gulp of his milk before answering]
Everyone has natural talents, yeah? Some people just weren't blessed by the cooking talent god, or whatever.
[he's being sarcastic]
no subject
[Look, there's bait he's going to rise to.]
no subject
Haven't I shown you already? It's magic. Not the spellcasting kind that exists in Blanc, but clever trickery and sleights-of-hand.

I'm sure you've seen the "pick a card, any card" trick before, yeah?
[shuffle shuffle~]
no subject
[Oh, good times, good times. (Guess who was working the crowd whilst the game ran.)] Take it you got something like that?
no subject
[he's already thinking that Gaius might be particularly difficult to deceive. especially if he's familiar with Find the Lady. tricksters could spot tricks from miles and miles away]
[but he doesn't let that show as he fans the deck out in his hands]
Pick up, and you know what to do from there.
no subject
Just from that. (And man! This is so nostalgic!)]
no subject
[either way, he easily folds the card back into his deck and begins to shuffle. he might be showing off some of the fancier shuffling tricks here, too. . . just because he can. and when he finally stops, he stacks the deck in his palm and taps the very first card on top]
Hn. . . y'know, I'm not quite sure I believe that you put the card back. Are you sure you did?
[nevermind that both of them saw Gaius doing just that moments earlier]
no subject
[Yeah, but like, their bond level is maxed, man. Supports are at an A. S.link rising as they speak. They'll go down to normal levels again, but give him sugar and yes, yes, he'll be like whatever you want.]
no subject
[he teases! and then he gestures at Gaius's pocket]
Check in there. Maybe it jumped.
[the card is, indeed, in the pocket. which is funny, because Kaito's hand never got anywhere near it. . . or so it seemed]
1/2

Is she cute?
[asking the important things first]
no subject
What's your type?
[Dunno! Everybody has different tastes. (This is going in a bad way, abort, abort.)]
no subject
If you have to ask that, then maybe I should say "nevermind."
no subject
[He didn't, really. But he knows the fetish.]
no subject
When you put it like that you make it sound like she's at least ten years older than me.

[congratulations on learning that you're hanging out with a teenager, Gaius]
no subject
Yeah, Miriel's more...
[...
...
Actually, he has no idea. Frown.
...eh. Shrug! Custard.]
no subject
Honestly, I have no idea what that's supposed to mean.
