[ Now, what were they supposed to talk to these kids about? Kija had rushed over so quickly he hadn't really read the job bulletin. Right now it just looked like they were supposed to keep them some company.
Kija doesn't know the first thinga bout entertaining children, though. There were children in his village, but when they tried to reach out to the Hakuryuu, their parents would often lead them away. They didn't want to bother their young lord. That same little boy from before tugs at Kija's sleeve again. Excitedly, he yells 'I want to defeat the bad guys too! I wanna be a hero too!' The other children start to get into the mood, and they go on excitedly about the adventures they would have as a hero!!! Kija's not sure what to say in response, so he goes with what he knows. ]
If you want to protect others, you must train your body and become strong. Without strength, you cannot protect anyone.
[ basically typical kija-talk ... the shonen life is the only life he knows.
'I wanna start right now!!' one little boy exclaims, and the other kids all nod their heads in excitement. A normal adult probably wouldn't be encouraging young children to learn to fight, but Kija isn't exactly a normal adult, so he thoughtlessly gives his response. ]
Yes. Training should always start young. [ KIJA STOp
And now he's done it. They have a room full of excited children all ready to start their training as heroes. ]
