What: an open log for various Airy shenanigans!!

Birds.
[in Kaito's opinion, birds were the luckiest creatures to ever grace the world. birds had wings, wings meant flying, and flying? that meant freedom. so it comes as no surprise that people can find the magician standing on top of Airy's main deck, one hand outstretched over the railing to offer a small perch for the animals gliding above. he seems to be doing particularly well with the doves! one sits on his hand while a second nestles into that wild nest that is his hair]
[BIRD WHISPERER]
Hey there, li'l guy. [Kaito says with a grin as he gently runs his knuckles over the bird's wings] Coming back home to roost for a bit before heading out again, huh?
[at the magician's feet sits his carrier, Inari the arctic fox, who lets out an annoyed whuff as her master pays far more attention to the doves than her]
Oi, oi! What's that? [a scoff] Is Miss Disappear-Until-Kaito-Needs-Her getting a little jealous?
[don't pick on your Carrier, Kaito, she'll withhold all your messages from you!1]
Magic (not the mana kind!1)
[after catching wind that some of the nightly performances at the Airy theater involved circus troupes and stage magic, it comes as not surprise that Kaito hangs around to check one out for himself. he's silent throughout most of the show, watching the magicians with a critical and appraising eye. but hey! his small, barely noticeable smile makes it obvious he's enjoying himself. he's gotta appreciate his fellow practitioners of stage magic, after all. and they really are talented]
[when the show is over, he joins in the applause, but if you happen to be sitting nearby you might hear him say:]
Heh. . .! They're actually pretty good.
[. . .]
Betcha I could do better.
