I just found it in one area. I didn't get a chance to check it out as thoroughly as I liked, because I got mobbed by the wildlife while I was looking, so I can't say for sure whether or not there were any more spots that were contaminated.

You just need one dose to poison someone, though, so I don't know if it's really a matter of "needing enough." Just needing something once is plenty of opportunity.
