(Open)

Who: Sansa Stark & Open~
When: Early January
Where: Around Menchik (A) and then onto Pigeonsblood (B).
What: "A Little Match Girl" curse search!
Rating: TBD

The job was simple enough and Sansa trusted in her ability to complete it. It wasn't her duty or responsibility to know what the curses would be used for - other than "scientific purposes" (whatever that meant). All she cared about was the payment. No matter how far she traveled, money had the ability to either make a journey impossible or comfortable. She chose to be comfortable.

(A.)

Menchik seemed to be a good starting point. With the protection of Blue Wedding and the sword strapped around her waist - as well a dagger against her thigh under her skirt - Sansa felt confident she could approach any merchant or traveling scholar without fear. Her hair was braided in a small ornate bun with the rest of the vivid copper strands loose around her shoulders. All in all, she looked intimidating for a young woman; every bit a child of the North - of Winter.

She entered an inn on one street, peering around at those enjoying a drink at the tavern within. Then she approached the bar and garnered the barkeep's attention.

"Excuse me, I recall seeing a man carrying a satchel of books and papers lodging here yesterday. Could you tell me his whereabouts currently?"

Some coins were placed on the table, with a subtle hand, in case the barkeep - or anyone who overheard - proved helpful.

(B.)

After spending a week in Menchik, tracking down any scholarly sort she recalled or spied, Sansa set off for Pigeonsblood. Since she attended school, she knew she would likely find all she needed where curses were concerned. Blue Wedding, once again, became a silver feather necklace and as the armor receded into a piece of jewelry, her school uniform was revealed, yellow trim and all.

She strode to the Library first and foremost, preparing herself to spend hours if she must, seeking what Alumina had requested. Yet breaks were necessary, so she could easily be found in other areas on the campus, clearing her mind and taking a breath of fresh air.

Being a student was difficult; being a hero was nearly impossible. But the promise of money and magic kept her driven. She wanted a future where no one could hurt her or use her ever again.
