Can you help me find a way [Open]
Who: A very tiny Caren and you!
When: 11/21-11/27
Where: Cassia, the Halls of Glory and other places
What: Caren is now a bitty
Rating: None, it's too fluffy though there might be feels.
Chores
[In the Halls of Glory, or in Alice's home, Caren was serious and trying. Trying very hard. What was she trying to do?
Help, of course. She had loads of laundry that she got from the maids; she swept and polished and cleaned the main rooms; she helped with the kitchen and getting food ready for hungry heroes.
Though...most of the time she had a bit of a problem. The problem in being that she was far too small with most of what she was working with, and had to jump and sprawl against the counter top in order to reach things. That doesn't even count when she's straining to get things onto the laundry line and realizes that she's trailed some of the fabric onto the ground.
Being small is tough.]
Lost
[She tried to find her way. Normally she was good with directions but...the people. There were too many of them around, and she couldn't find her way back. There was too much going on. And she was too little to see much at all.
Someone or something bumped into her, and Caren fell onto the street. If she had her basket of shopping, that might have gone down too, and she...well, it was a little predictable as to what happened.
She burst into silent tears.]
A magical discovery
[It seemed that some of the kids around town were wanting to bully Caren for one reason or another. Maybe it was because she was so small; maybe it was because she was quiet, or that she obviously had money. But she ended up cornered, and she ended up staring up at them with angry golden eyes.]
Leave me alone.
[Magic, harsh and angry fell on the children, making them cry out and clutch at their ears.
....oh. Her face lit up, and she looked...gleeful. She hadn't known she could do that. Talk about useful!]
Exploring
[There was a lot of things to see. Like the library, and the market, and all sorts of stores! She had a basket with her, which she had taken on the thought of getting things to make for dinner. It wouldn't be a fancy dinner or well made but...well. The main thing was that Caren was trying.
Even if that meant straining to pick up books-especially recipe books in the library on shelves far too high-or to look at things in the market, obviously charmed and in awe of what she saw.
...especially pastries. They looked too good not to eat. She might end up with her nose pressed against the glass, and her hands against them too. Food...]
Wildcard
For anything that doesn't fit, goes here! If you're not sure, pm me, or plurk me at
