[ so the king actually has some battle experience! at least there's that much that nina can work with, and she'll dodge away accordingly. she finds herself busy with another griffon rider and some foot soldiers, but manages to shoot them at bay once her weapon's ability has worked its literal magic. that gives her ample time to bring her focus over to her quick-tempered companion...
and she sees that.
for a moment, she has to stop and stare. this guy... he was actually pretty hot, now that she's getting a better look at him. the soldier pinning him isn't half bad looking either... downright handsome, if she were being honest. and they were on the ground together, pinned and struggling... if they weren't on a battlefield, something like that could really escalate, couldn't it?
oh gods, she's feeling warm. her imagination is definitely starting to run wild, but she can't let it distract her. she swallows thickly, deciding to keep protect this incredible scene by shooting at any reinforcements that try to come close and intervene. she needs to protect this. maybe she can prolong it until things get out of hand... or maybe put it on that track. ]
